Coming back to our mysterious Gen.Jha,

Inclining his head slightly, he appraised the lonely stray cat standing by the street of the village, watching him. He smirked and casually worded, "Boo."

Screeching, the cat ran away and he chuckled to himself. There was no denying that there were some agreeable things about his wretched condition

From the beginning of the tale I believed he was actually suffering from this wretched curse and desperately yearning to get freedom from that. But after witnessing him actually enjoying the conveniences of the same curse, im compelled doubt his ulterior motives...

He looked away, "The war is too much upon my heart, I don't think I can hold on much longer. I am losing the fight." He closed his eyes.

Did he really fight? We have never seen him trying to fight against his beastly instincts. He readily gives in with the instincts and transforms. His only concern being the embarassement to come in front of others in his transformed state.

Kushi felt sad, "Are you lonely?"

"Always," said the General, sighing.
"That's because I have no family," said the General miserably, staring at the ground.

From his monologue in the earlier chapters we know the beastly instincts in him lay dormant for quite sometime and stirred back to life after he met khushi. I guess that dormant period coincides with those years he lived happily after marrying Lady Anjali. I guess she controlled the beast in him though she couldnt completely eradicate those beastly instincts from him.

I wonder why didnt he find her as the true companion of his heart and didnt feel at home with her?

I always had a vague feeling that there was a misconception from General Jha's side about the cure of his curse. I thought he missed certain essential details regarding THAT LOVE he believed in curing his curse and those missed crucial points are going to play a vital role in determining the fate of Gen. Jha...

(correct me if im wrong dear Aquiline)

Whatever his reasons may be, but Gen.Jha is planning to mess up with two genuine loving hearts (khushi and Lady Anjali).

I wonder where will this lead to'

LOVED ur analysis dear.. dat ws brilliant dear @ red part👏👏.. it cud so be da reason dear.. i ddnt consider it coz in da previous chp, he yearnd fr freedom n there ws a struggle inside him, the impatience to get to khushi.. dat green part's such an imp questn.. i ws thnkg cud khushi hv sum kind of powers dat cud heal one n accelerate/grant anothr sumthg of da curse? newys..am glad u r bk,missed u alot last nyt.. n @ mosquito theory..dats wht happens whn da author's bent upon mkg us ''CRAZY''..Evil Lin !!😆

not quite sure if General Jha wants to rid himself of the curse. May be he wants to break free of the chains that do not let him turn into the free and high flying creature he is?

May be it was something he liked before it calmed down due to Lady Anjali's presence or may be with time itself.

May be Khushi is essential for him to get that freedom back which he much desires??

Going by this thought flow, I believe that the lie was not about 'not having a family', since he has no family in that creature form, but about 'I had made the decision to see you, suddenly, and without another thought, set off to find you.'

He was obviously aware of Khushi's presence in her own home, which Lady Anjali or Bua must have informed him about.

Am I thinking too much?? 😕 I am thinking too much!! 🤢

Her father said she cannot be the reason for someone's pain, yet she aroused the dormant beast in Gen.Jha.

How contradictory?

so true yar.. . n i'm feeling dat since lin gave dis one chp last time abt da dream n said it ws hastily added to gv sum more insight into upcummg ones.. dat chp ws all abt her innocence n purity.. besides whn v read in da battle-chp abt Gen's feelings ,v thought he ws in love coz he kpt talking of hr eyes n a tug of his heart coz of hr.. bt i feel v jumped to conclusion dat he luvd hr.. he cud so feel fr hr,evn if he thnks of hr in sum othr context..knw wt i mean?? n time n agn da lord n Gen hv been talking of hr innocence n all.. so i do feel there's sum connection..

shaym is aware kushi has stirred something inside him, his curse is awaken but he being a fool is coming more near khushi thinking the one who has awaken the beast inside him will be the one too to cure his heart. So he is a fool but with reasons...😆

I take it in a different way here... does he really want to get cure?or he want more power??

As far as i remember, Lin has not narrated that he wants to get cured... yes you rightly said his curse awake only after meeting khushi, and i think he feel more powerful with his curse ... as some where someone (i think shass) has rightly mention that he is not in pain due to curse...

so in my thoughts.. he want khushi so that his curse remain with him always as powers...!!!

Khushipugly,ws ryt half way there i feel.. see he's a fool wthout a reason coz, he thought he cud GET wht he desires easily.. KHUSHI.. did u notice hw he ws surprised dat she rejected him? i thnk dat phrase cn be used agn n agn in so many contexts,n cn b applied on many characters,frm time to time..we'll see ..
PS @ underline part; dat ws BANG ON !
EDITED- dat phrase may also mean dat he thinks he vl benefit frm hr bt she may b da cause fr his DOWNFALL.. u see,no matter hw powerful Evil is,God hsnt gvn it da power to rule da Righteousness..dats why,evry bad person/evil tks bk doors n doesnt lyk to expose thmsevlz/itself..

Okay...Lets come to the point... I know you are a versatile writer Linny...You are able to adapt portraying any kind of situations with ease whether it is a humorous one or emotional one...This list is not ending here okay..?What I'm saying is I totally enjoyed the conversation between Mami Ji and her husband..It was just perfect...

Khushi's view on revenge was incredible one ...There her mind reflected as clear as still water ... For this a 👏 from mine...

Khushi and that curtain thing...I set a perfect image in my mind, of what you depicted to me through your lines...If I close my eyes I can see her struggling in between that long white curtain and First Lord's prolonged gaze..."She looked like she was lying in the snow.looking up at him with those melting eyes and her black rich hair and her red lips, stood out among all that snow.." Can I call it as paint balls...??? I loved the colour game you played here...I was just being a part of it...I hope you can guess how much I enjoyed it..right...?

I know you are a perfectionist in making passionate as well as emotional Arshi confrontations..I have told you this several times...Now you are succeeded in creating a lingering and enigmatic happiness in readers without any hostile meeting between them too...I'm talking about the farewell part... A 👏 for what effort you did there...

A wonderful get together...You just swept away the disappointment of a farewell by a cheerful and lovely get together... According to my mom's theory emotions should be balanced...😳

Linny you are amazing...You make me astonish again and again...Chapter 93 is a work beyond excellence...I have read it 3 times...I know I have to look into this chapter seriously and decode certain things...

The first thing caught my eyes is "How ethereal she looked he realised..." The word he used to describe her is not a passionate or lovely one...ETHEREAL...Can I reach at a conclusion about his intentions from this...?

He said Khushi that he has no family..Is this the second lie..? I think so...All other things he said have direct or indirect meaning which point us to certain facts...Khushi could feel his loneliness and he asked her for companionship...I never felt he has any intense feeling or deep affection for Khushi...I feel like he just moulds the situations and persons like the way he wanted them to be...His standard in mind gaming is very high I think...Again Khusi's word about men can be remembered here...

"You are named after your smile..." All her deeds give meaning to her name...Even though she has absolute right to take decision about her own future and life , she shed tears when she denied General's proposal in thought of making him disappointed... Somewhere in my mind I have a feeling that she wanted to here it from Lord Arnav... Not exactly the way the General said... Am I thinking too much😉...?? If its so just leave it...😃
