But reading 'paagal' her mouth formed a perfect 'O' shape as she remembered the day he had given her this name.

~Flashback~

Few days after their wedding was fixed Anjali had suggested to send khushi and arnav on a date so that they could know something more about each other.

Arnav was a little late due to a meeting but had messaged and informed khushi...she was there before him and so was waiting for him..she was really nervous because she was going to meet her would be husband for the first time alone...she was praying to her devi maiyaa that everything goes well and was eating jalebi's she ordered in the restaurant in a record speed. She had already finished one plate of jalebis and this was the second one.

She was putting her second last piece of jalebi in her mouth and this is how arnav found her when he entered...and he just stood looking at her with an amused expression on his handsome face. 'yeh ladki pagal hai kya' he thought looking at the way she was eating 'par job hi hai cute hai'

She looked at him and the piece of jalebi she was going to put in her mouth fell down from her hand. She stood up shaking due to the nervousness and in the process the glass of water kept on the table fell down. Arnav looked at her and for just a second was lost in her beauty. She was dressed in a light pink anarkali suit with blue border and design, . She hair were kept loose on right side. She had minimum make-up. She looked 'beautiful' he thought. He approached the table and said a "hi" with a slight smile to which she smiled nervously and they sat on their seats facing each other.

The cleaner came to clean the spilled water.

"toh you like jalebies" he asked after few minutes of awkward silence.

At this khushi's face immediately lit up and with a bright smile she replied " je...hume jalebiya bahoot pasand hai..aur aapko pata hai hum doniya ki sabse acche jalebiya banate hai...par upne amma ke baad...unki jalebiyo ka toh jawaab nahi..etni acche hote hai" (yes I really love jalebies..I make the best jalebies in the world after my mom..)

"aap bhi kaiye na" she asked forwarding a plate of jalebies.(u also eat)

"no thanks mujhai diabetes hai" he replied and her face immediately fell she kept the last piece of jalebi aside...she suddenly didn't know why didn't feel like eating.(no thanks but I have diabetes)

"oh..par tum kahao" he said and without waiting for even a second attacked that piece of jalebi and ate it.(oh..but u please eat)

All this while he watched the change of expressions on her face with amusement. At one moment she is nervous and then the nervousness just vanishes and she smiles brightly. How she looks sad when he doesn't eat the jalebies and all.

they order their lunch and looking at the amount of food khushi orders just for herself arnav mutters 'yeh ladki pagal hai' and shakes his head when khushi asks did he say something he just shrugs his shoulders and nods a no...but khushi had heard what he said but didn't say something.

They finish their lunch. All time during the lunch khushi was blabbering continuously something or the other. Usually arnav didn't like people who talk too much but this time he didn't really wanted to stop her and so just kept quiet listening to her talks. There were also some awkward moments between them which were obvious in such situation.

After dinner arnav was going to drop khushi to her home as she had come here by an auto.

On the way khushi spots an ice cream stand and khushi being our beloved crazy khushi kumari gupta forces arnav to stop the car because she wants to have ice cream. She leaves arnav no choice other than that and so he stops the car their and takes khushi to have ice cream.

Khushi orders a butterscotch cone and one chocolate cone just for herself leaving arnav amazed that after eating so many jalebies and food she has so much space in that little tummy of hers to finish these. He doesn't like ice creams so just watches her eating 'and remembers their first meeting. For some minutes he goes back to his past and remembers the time they were together. Their dates and outing and how much she loved ice creams and cakes. But soon the thought of her comes to him and he feels angry at himself to remember her when his would be wife is in front of him.

When he parks the car in front of her house she asks him to come inside but he politely refuses saying that he has an important meeting to attend after some time so he need to go.

She steps out of the car and after closing the door she takes a few steps towards the door of her house but stops and turns and goes near the car window which is open looks at him and with her brightest smile says thank you making him confused. He asked why so she replies "hume jalebiya khila ne ke liye" and runs back towards her home. Arnav chuckles and says in a loud voice so that she can hear " tum sach me paagal ho khushi kumari gupta" and she laughs in return.

~Flashback ends~

And over the time she has given him many reasons that prove how crazy she is and so arnav had kept her name paagal and likes calling her that. It irritates khushi sometimes but she knows from inside she likes when he calls her with this name.

She starts looking at her cabin and what work she has to do.

He looked outside the window with moist eyes as the memories of those wonderful moments spend with her came back into his mind. Those hazel eyes of hers. Her sweet and loving talks. Her silky hair and rosy lips. That blush that crept on her cheeks when they were near. Everything he so missed her in these two years without her. She has left him to never come back. Left him alone forever and had taken a promise to never stay alone. To forget her and move on. Didn't she knew how much she meant for him that he can never forget her!!

He held his picture in his hand while thinking of the time he had spend with her. She was his wife. His life.

Simran kumar she was the most beautiful and loving person he has ever met. She was his wife. They had dreamt of spending their whole life together but destiny had its own plan. They were never destined to together forever. She had died that day and had left him alone to spend his life without her.
