"khushi I didn't expect this from you how can you do such a big mistake.."

"ar..arnavji listen to me" she was scared. He had never talked to her like this. His words full of hurt. 'you cannot do anything right' She mentally scolded herself.

"you knew, khushi you knew how important this was more than anyone else you knew.."

"arnavji..."

"you broke my trust khushi , you BROKE MY TRUST" shouted arnav making her shudder.

With a jolt she woke up and sat on the bed still trembling. She looked around and found that she was on the bed in her room and arnav was sleeping on his side of the bed. 'no I cannot break his trust I just can't I will do my best and never give him a chance to complaint, yes this is what I have to do' she said to herself trying to calm herself. She just had a bad dream in which she had did a very big mistake due to which arnav's fashion show was spoilt and he was very angry on her. He had trusted her and she had broken his trust. She cannot break his trust. Not again she can't break the trust of her best friend again. She remembered the last time she had broken a friends trust it was not just broken trust but a broken friendship. A broken relationship that only gives pain.

Payal bhardwaj. Payal was khushi's best friend since class ninth when she had joined her new school in lucknow after shifting from Mumbai. They were like sister and shared almost everything with each other but when they were in class twelve something happened and payal's trust on khushi broke and so did their friendship. Soon khushi left the school and shifted to delhi. She still misses payal a lot and wishes that nothing like that happened again. Arnav was a friend which she didn't knew why but could be compared to payal and she didn't want to anyhow break arnav's trust. Their friendship though was only two months old but she didn't knew why it felt so special and important to her.

She thanked her devi maiya that it was just a dream. She cannot afford to lose his trust and friendship.

She raised her head to look at the clock in front of her on the wall which showed that it was six in the morning . She went to the bathroom to fresh up and take a bath.

As soon as she went arnav opened his eyes. He was woken up by the sounds few minutes ago. He wanted to sit up and ask khushi what was wrong that she woke up so suddenly. He would have done so if he had not heard khushi saying that she can't break his trust and she will not give him any chance to complain. Now he knew the real reason of her nervousness, about which he was wondering for so long. He had thought that the reason was that she was not confident about her designs and was scared that people would taunt that she is inexperienced and her designs are bad but now he knew that it was not about her it was about him. She was not scared that people will insult her but was scared that if she made a mistake then his trust on her will break. She feared that her mistake will lead to a loss of AR the company he had created with his hard work and which was his life.

"khushi how can you think that my trust on you will break so easily, that I'll be angry at you. I can never be angry at you. I never can be angry on my best friend. I may be ASR for the world but for my family and close ones I am just arnav. You are my wife khushi, you are my responsibility. I'll have to do something to get this fear out of her." He said to himself determined to make sure that khushi never feels that she is not doing her work in AR properly.

She stood in front of the mirror looking at her reflection in it. She was dressed in a pure formal look and looked perfect for the secretary. She applied some lip gloss over her soft pink lips and finished her look. She was clad in a light formal ladies shirt and black pants, her hair tied in the form of a pony tail and she had applied light make-up. She took her hand bag and headed straight towards the door.

She was fully ready for her first day in NK designs. Being the MD of a fashion house and working as a model she knew choosing a fashion house to work was the best option. She was experienced and knew all about this field. Even though this was the job of an ordinary secretary she chose to work in a fashion house.

Lavanya's family have been working in the same industry for ages and somewhere she still wanted to be in contact with the industry on which she and her family survived for years. Somewhere in her heart she still wants to be linked by that field if not directly then indirectly.

In arshi's room-

Khushi was searching for the perfect dress to wear for her first day at office. Married in a traditional family she had long ago stopped wearing western clothes. She knew the family will never object her wearing western clothes but also knew that her mother would surely object her wearing western clothes inn her sasural. Also her values and beliefs never let her wear western clothes after marriage. She now wore only anarkali suits and sarees . she now was in a little dilemma on how to wear sarees and suits in office while working sarees were not an option and anarkali suits were of too much design and the dupatta can create a problem while working. Till now whenever she visited office she wore a saree because she only went to meet arnav but now the situation was different as she is going to work in AR.

She searched through different anarkali suits trying to find a dress perfect for her first day which would be comfortable to work and also looked good but when she couldn't find any she asked arnav for help who was tying his tie, getting ready for office.

"arnavji what should I wear for my first day in office...please help me" she asked and arnav looked towards her.

"khushi wear anthing formal as you will have to work"

"but arnavji you know na I don't have any formal clothes...infact I have stopped wearing western clothes since I am married"

"ya..khushi..i know"

"then.."

He went to his closet and took out a paper bag and handed it to khushi

"what is this arnavji ?" asked a totally confused khushi.

"Look inside the bag khushi"

She opened and found to pair of leggings and short kurti.

"I knew you would have problem to search for clothes so I ordered these yesterday...we can buy more clothes for you later...I didn't knew what you would like so only ordered two pairs."

"thanks arnavji you are truly my best friend...and I just love this dress it's not to indian not to western..perfect..I am sure these will be lot more comfortable...i will buy more such dresses today evening while returning from office" she said with a smile. This act of arnav really helped subside some of her tension.

"go change"

"uumm...arnavji are you sure I'll be able to do this"

"khushi you are taking too much tension and I don't understand why but I am sure you will be able to do this"

These words from arnav gave her a little confidence and she remided herself what she had decided.

They both got ready, had breakfast and headed towards AR.

sorry for the late and short update but it will be so till march end because i have to study. thanks for understanding. and mostly khushi and lavanya's first day at office will be in next or next two updates..
