Hi everyone :) Thanks for commenting such wonderful things :) Big Big hug to every one :) Sorry if the update is a bit sad but it all comes because of Barun leaving the show which gave me a heart attack anyways the next update will be much better :) Buddy me for the PMs and keep commenting as it gives ma lot of motivation to write :) Since I haven't updated for a long time I tried writing a long update :) Do forgive me for that :P Enjoy reading and Next update is coming soon :) ….

Chapter 3

Khushi: [in her office cabin with Arnav and looking at the models pictures] ASR so far I haven't even found a single good model for Magazine photo shoot with our latest designs…

Arnav: Lemme see the pictures [Khushi hands him all of the photos] Cummon Miss Gupta, look at these models, they are too hot and sexy and ur saying they are not good.

Khushi: ASR the photo shoot is for upcoming festival Diwali not for Beach wears… inme se ek bhi dhang ki nahi hai who'll suit the fashion style that we have chosen.

Arnav: [thinks for a while] Umm… I don't know if you'll like the idea but I'll say that Lavanya would look really nice in Indian outfit.

Khushi: [Silent, thinking for few seconds] I guess we could give it a try as in ask her to wear the clothes for us and if it suits her then BAM, we got our model. [Smiles] Thanks for helping me again.

Arnav: It's okay Miss Gupta.

Khushi: [Calls Lavanya but she doesn't pick the phone up. She tries 3 times but she doesn't answer the call] I don't think she's in her cabin, lemme ask Aman [Calls Aman, after 2 rings he picks the phone up].

Hey Aman, U have any clue about where Lavanya is?

Aman: Err mam she's on the lunch break with her boyfriend [he says awkwardly]

Khushi: Hold on a sec [looks at Arnav and asks] ASR did u had plans with Lavanya?

Arnav: Nope

Khushi: [looks concerned and feels something fishy] listen Aman u sure she's gone out with her boyfriend I mean how do you know?

Aman: Well when she was leaving I asked her for some file and she said she has lunch with her boyfriend and will gimme the file when she comes back. Why? Anything important?

Khushi: Nah nothin important just had to ask her about the photo shoot, anyways thanks [saying that she disconnects the call]

ASR according to Aman Lavanya is out on a date with her boyfriend.

Arnav: What the? How can she be on a date alone? Lemme call her

Arjun: La, aj tum mere saath aayi mujhe bohot accha laga. Thankyou very much

La: No need to thank Arjun, main akeli reh reh ke bore ho gayi hun and need some company

Arjun: Cool then lets order some lunch

La: [smiles] I'll have white sauce Spinach Pasta

The waiter comes to take their order.

Waiter: What would you like to order sir and mam?

Arjun: Can ya get us a White sauce spinach pasta and one 6 inch subway.

Waiter: Sure sir, is that all?

Arjun: That'll be all. [The waiter leaves]

La: Hey I'll need to use washroom, be right back [she said with a smile]

Arjun: Okay

[Lavanya forgot her mobile phone at the table and in few seconds it starts ringing. Arjun picks it up in case if it's important]

Arjun: Hello

Arnav: Whose this, Where's Lavanya?

Arjun: I'm sorry its her boyfriend Arjun, and she has gone to the washroom, maybe you can call her later.

[Arnav couldn't believe his ears, he felt his world has ended. The person he loved the most cheated on him with some other guy. He couldn't bring words out of his mouth and therefore disconnected the call][He started crying and Khushi looked at him worriedly. She couldn't see tears in any ones eyes. She went and sat next to Arnav and gave him a friendly hug].

Khushi: Kya hua Arnav? Lavanya kahan hai? Wo theek to hai na

Arnav: [at the mention of Lavanya gives out a sarcastic laugh] Lavanya bilkul theek hai infact apne boyfriend ke saath kafi enjoy kar rahi hai. [saying that he bangs on to the table with his hand really hard] I loved her so much and she in return cheated on me. Shayad mujhme hi koi kami reh gayi hogi tabhi to usne mere sath aisa kiya.

Khushi: [Khushi remembered the way she was once betrayed by Shyam who said he loved her but that was all to gain her property and will but at the right time her friend NK cleared her dilemma and showed Shyam his right place. Since then Khushi lost all faith in love and is single from last three years. Everyone knows that she will never marry and settle down with someone in her life. All her family was Shashi Gupta her dad, NK her best friend and Arnav who is a nice friend. She came out of the thoughts and tried to console Arnav].

[The sleep was nowhere close to Arnav and Khushi, both of them being betrayed by the ones they loved and trusted the most…]

One month passed and Arnav moved on in his life. Now all he wanted was to work, work and work. Which is what he's been doing since past one month, working like a machine and leaving his past behind. Sitting in his cabin figuring out what was the best deal for AK designs. There was a knock on the door.

"Come in"

[Khushi enters]

A: Have a seat Ms Gupta.

K: Sure [Sits opposite to him on the table, unlike before now they were all formal since Lavanya broke his trust he's not ready to trust anyone again and is all formal with everyone at work. He was no longer a friendly, lovely guy and Khushi felt helpless to bring the old Arnav back who would crack jokes even in the hectic timings. Well you always can't get what you want] ASR I was thinking if we postpone our Photoshoot for like until next two weeks coz Diwali is still a month away and I rather wanted to focus more on the Business deal for Mehtas and Co.

A: I guess we could do that since Diwali is a month away and photo shoot is a matter of few hours so I don't think that's a big deal.

K: Okay then, photo shoot should be in 3 weeks. By the way, you haven't had lunch yet so first eat and then work.

A: Ms Gupta don't need to worry about me I'll eat when I feel like eating. None of your business. [Feels bad for talking like this with Khushi but can't take the risk of being betrayed again]

K: ASR I am not worrying about you and I don't care if you eat or not it's just that I don't want any delays in my work due to health issues and since your diabetic you should eat in order to work properly. Anyways it's your life do whatever you want, I am going.

[Arnav felt like someone slapped him hard on his face. Never ever had Khushi talked so rudely with him before and today even she did something unexpected. Arnav didn't knew why her rudeness affected him so much. Why does he feel pain? ]

On the other hand just like Arnav Khushi was masters at masking her emotions. She felt bad for talking like this but since Arnav didn't count her as a friend anymore just coz La turned him down doesn't mean he should ditch the other relations as well].

The rest of the day went in a blurr. Khushi didn't talk to Arnav after their conversation from lunch.

Khushi was packing her laptop bag and was ready to head out of the office when her mobile phone rang. She picked the phone up and tears made her way down .

PRECAP:

Arnav: Ms Gupta don't you dare ignore me you get that?

Khushi: Mr Raizada what I do is none of your business just stay out of it!
