GUPTA's
Khushi Gupta:
Khushi is the youngest daughter of the Gupta family. She studied interior architecture along with MBA in the Oxford University, London. Now she manages the Gupta Event Management (GEM) Company along with her brother. She loves her family and she is very attached to her siblings. She stands for what she believes in, and never let goes of her inculcated values. She likes everything to be perfect. Khushi had a cordial relationship with her employees, but she hates it when anyone is unprofessional during work. She believes that God writes her destiny and that she will find her true love at the right time.
Shashi Gupta is Khushi's father. He had migrated to Sydney, Australia 35 years ago with his wife. He started of his life from scratch and ended up owning one of the best Event Management companies in Sydney. He has now handed over the business to his son and daughter. He is a very loving and caring father and he is friendly with his kids.
She is Khushi's mother. She loves to take care of her kids. She understands and supports her kids with all matters and also guides them when necessary. She is more like a friend than a mother. The kids are the apples of her eye.
Anjali Gupta:
She is the eldest daughter of the Gupta's. She is the most loving and caring sister anyone can have. She is like a mother to both her younger siblings. She will do anything for her siblings' happiness. Sometimes she helps her siblings to manage the business but mostly she is with her mom to help her with household chores.
Jay Gupta:
Jay is Khushi's and Anjali's brother. He manages the business along with Khushi. He is a very over protective brother; he hates to see tears in both his sisters' eyes. Even though he is an arrogant business man to the outside world but to his family he is a caring and loving son and brother.
RAIZADA's:
Arnav Singh Raizada:
Arnav was the eldest son of the family. He is a ruthless business man who wants to win at any cost and thinks that he writes his own destiny. He has no consideration for relations and thinks that anything can be bought, even love. He was a boss that every employee resented due to his cold and unsympathetic nature. His priorities in life were money, fame and success. He had no life beyond his professional life. He only had a cordial relationship with his mother from his family. But that does not mean he did not care for the other family members; it's just that he never shows it.
Amar Singh Raizada:
He is Arnav's father. Like Shashi, Amar had also migrated to Australia along with his wife and mother. He established a fashion house in Sydney which is now very popular throughout the country. He is both strict and stone hearted when questions are raised on his rules and regulations. He cannot compromise on his beliefs and will tolerate no nonsense in his house. Amar handed over the business to Arnav after he finished his studies. It can be said that Arnav got his attitude from his father.
Chandini Singh Raizada:
She is Arnav's mother. She worries a lot for her kids and panics very easily at if something troubles them; especially if it is Arnav. Every family member depends on her as she is the support of the family who keeps the family intact.
Devyani Singh Raizada:
She is Arnav's Dadi and Amar's mother. She is a very sweet and caring Dadi. She loves her family a lot and will do anything for their happiness. She treats her bahu, Chandini like her own daughter and is proud of her as she keeps the family intact. At times Amar's behaviour hurts her and blames him for the sore relationship between the family members.
Aakash Singh Raizada:
He is Arnav's younger brother and is doing his MBA now. He considers Arnav as his role model. Even though he is scared of his brother, he loves him to the core and respects him. He is eager to finish his studies so that he can help Arnav with the business.
OTHERS:
Aman Mehra -
She is Khushi's childhood best friend. They are more like sisters; they studied together and now Lavanya assists Khushi at GEM. They know each other like an open book. The Gupta's consider her as their own daughter. She is a cute and bubbly girl. She is going get married to her boyfriend Nand Kishore (NK) Mehra.
Nand Kishore (NK) Kapoor -
He is Arnav's best friend and cousin. He is an architect and also lives with the Raizada's in Sydney. He is the only one except Chandini that can control Arnav's anger. He is always there if any of his loved ones need support. He is going to get married to Lavanya Kashyap.
Madhumathi Sharma (Buaji) -
She is Shashi Gupta's elder sister. She is widow and she lives alone in Pune since her daughter Payal studies in Bombay. Even though Shashi insisted her to join them in Australia she always denied him saying that the house in Pune holds her husband's memories, so she does not want to leave the house. She and Lavanya's parents are neighbours in Pune and they all live like a family.
Payal Sharma -
Payal is Buaji's daughter. She just finished her studies in Architecture at Bombay University. She is younger than Khushi and also considers Khushi as her role model. She lost her dad when she was five, since then Shashi has taken care of all her needs and she considers him as her own father. She is bubbly and also mature at the same time.

Saturday, morning at the Airport-
Arnav: Aman, I want all the drafts to be ready for next season's magazine when I come back.
Aman: Yes Sir everything will be ready!
Arnav: Good! Update me regularly about everything that happens at work!
Aman: Sure Sir!
Arnav: Hmmm...
Aman: Bye Sir! Have a safe journey!
Arnav: Bye!
Arnav walks into the airport. He is travelling by Singapore Airlines which departs at 11.00am. After checking in he walks towards the customs; that is when Khushi reached the airport with her family. Khushi is travelling by Emirates Airlines, which also departs at 11.00am.
Khushi: Alright it's time for me to go!
Garima: Chutki... Shadi ka ghar hai so please no badmashi! Aur Buaji ko tang mat karna! Tum abhi bi bachi nahi ho!
Khushi: exactly ma! Main abb bachi nahi hoon... So please mujhe aise bhashan mat sunao!
Garima was going to argue back, when suddenly Jay started talking.
Anjali: Aur gadi sambhalke chalana ... In fact tumhe gadi chalani hi nahi chaiye! Suna hai wahan pe bohat rash drivers' hai! Tum sambhal nahi paogi ... If something happens... Nahi nahi! Jahan jana hai driver ko saath leki jana!
Khushi finally interrupted before they start advising more.
Khushi: Oh ho! Aap sab bhi na! Kitna chinta karte hai ho! Woh bhi for silly matters! Waise Papa aap kyun chup hai? Sirf aap bache ho advice dene ke liye!
Shashi: Main kyun advice doon? Mujhe pata hai meri beti bohat hoshiyar hai! Woh sab kuch sambhal sakti hai!
Khushi: Thank God! At least you support me Papa! Anyways meri baat chodo ... Aap sab apna khayal rakna. Papa please apna medicines time pe lena, bhai kaam karte karte dont forget to eat food! Di aur ma you both also take care of yourself!
Jay: Ok Ma'am! Ab jao or else you will miss your flight!
Khushi: Ok Bye! I will miss you all! See you soon!
She hugged and kissed everyone on their cheeks and then entered the airport. She moved towards her departure gate which is gate number 8 after her check in and all other airport formalities.
On the other hand, Arnav was already seated at gate number 6. Gate numbers six and eighth were adjacent to each other separated with a glass wall. Arnav and Khushi were both waiting for their boarding announcement. Finally when the announcement was made they started walking towards their respective flights. The facts that they both were unaware were that these few steps are their initial steps towards their life changing moment; this trip of theirs to India can turn their life upside down.
End of Chapter Two
I know after reading previous chapter you felt like they will meet in this chapter! Let me tell you that was my initial plan but I changed it as you can seeš! Well all I am gona say is that they will meet soonš³

Anyways here you go -Chapter Three
Khushi reached Mumbai airport and was rushing to catch her next flight to Pune. She had arrived late as her flight from Sydney halted at Dubai longer than it was scheduled for. She was searching for her passport and ticket in her handbag so that she would not have to waste time at the check in counter. As she was not looking where she was going, she bumped into something hard. Due to the sudden impact of the bump, she was startled and lost her balance. She immediately closed her eyes, getting ready to hit the hard ground and started praying to her Devi Maiya.
Arnav had reached Mumbai one hour before Khushi and was at the airport restaurant having his dinner. While walking out of the restaurant, he was busy checking his mails in his mobile and bumped into a petite girl. He saw the girl losing her balance and falling onto the ground and immediately caught hold of her. He saw that the girl had her eyes closed and was murmuring something. He felt like his heart his was jumping when he saw her innocent and cute face. She was beautiful, her eyes, lips, and nose everything was just perfect. He could not take his eyes off her.
After sometime Khushi realised that she had not hit the ground and could feel a strong pair of hands wound around her waist. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a good looking man with a pair of warm chocolate brown eyes looking at her intently. She had never felt so secure with a stranger ever before but she could not understand why she was feeling like that.
The moment Khushi opened her eyes Arnav was lost in her hazel brown eyes. They both were in their own world for a few minutes till they heard people around them murmuring. Even though they both were lost in each other for only few minutes, for them that moment lasted forever.
Khushi blinked her eyes a few times to distract herself from staring at Arnav and to get out of the dreamland. She could not believe she was in some stranger's arms in public. She pulled herself up by holding onto Arnav's shirt and immediately stepped away from him. Arnav was very annoyed and was cursing himself for being so lost when he heard the girl talk.
Khushi: Thanks!
As Arnav was very irritated with his earlier behaviour, he snapped back at her.
Arnav: Can't you watch where you are going?
Khushi was surprised and annoyed by his response.
Khushi: I can also ask you the same thing!
Arnav: Excuse me ... What did you just say?
Khushi: Are you deaf? I said that even you could have looked where you were going!
Arnav: What the ... You were the one who bumped into me and now you are blaming me! In case you forgot I was the one who saved you from falling!
Khushi: I think you are the one who is forgetting here! I did thank you for saving me. But you snapped back at me!
Arnav was out of words now! He did not know what to say next! So he decided to just go away from this crazy girl whom he thought was cute and innocent just few minutes ago.
Arnav: I don't have time to waste for arguing with silly girls!
And he left from there after picking up his passport and mobile from the ground near her bag which he thought might have fallen down when they bumped into each other from his pocket.
Khushi stood there with her mouth open. She was fuming at his arrogance and muttered ... "Laad Governor!"
She also moved towards the check-in counter collecting her stuffs from the ground including her passport and ticket which might have fallen out of her bag.
She gave her passport and ticket to assistant sitting at the check-in counter.
Assistant: Ma'am can I have your passport?
Khushi was already very irritated ... as things were not going the right way since she left Sydney. First her fight halted at the Dubai airport for a longer period, then she arrived late, then she bumped into that laad governor and now this assistant is holding her passport and asking her for her passport!
Khushi: In case you have not noticed, you are holding my passport! (She said sarcastically.)
Assistant: No Ma'am! This not your passport!
Khushi: What do you mean by saying that is not my passport?
The assistant showed the passport he was holding to Khushi. When Khushi saw the picture in the passport, her eyes popped out! She could not believe that she was holding the passport of that ... LAAD GOVERNOR!!!
Meanwhile Arnav was searching for Khushi. While he was walking away from her after their clash, he was putting the passport into his pocket. That is when something fell from the passport; when he was keeping it back in the passport he noticed that it was not his passport. He could not believe that he had her passport ... he was confused about how he had her passport. When he thought back he realised that he had picked the wrong passport. He had only looked at the Australian emblem on the passport and picked it.
When Arnav went back to the place where they had their clash he could not find her. He had no idea where to go and search for her; that is when he heard a girl's voice. When he turned to see where the voice came from, he saw Khushi talking to the airport assistant at the check-in counter and she looked like she was really tensed. He did not like the worry lines that were seen on her face; so he walked towards her quickly.
Khushi was really tensed ... She had no idea what to do! The only thing she was hoping for is that Arnav has her passport. Not much time was left for her to board the flight to Pune and she needed her passport. She was really confused and was asking the assistant to help her find Arnav.
She heard someone's footsteps coming close to her ... she turned back and saw Arnav walking towards her with a passport in his hand which she was assuming to be hers. Arnav saw a flash of relief on her face and for some unknown reason he felt good about it. He was not exactly sure how to start the conversation when he went and stood in front of her.
Arnav: Ummm ... I think I took your passport by mistake! Here you go and give me mine back!
Khushi (in her mind): He takes my passport with him and does not even have the courtesy to apologise! Hey Devi Maiya what type of man is this! I have never seen such an arrogant man in my life.
While Khushi took her passport from him and handed him his passport she started talking to him.
Khushi: You THINK you took my passport by mistake. I think it is an obvious mistake that you took my passport without even checking once.
Arnav: I looked at the Australian emblem on the passport and took it! I did not expect YOU to be from Australia as well! But I don't think it necessary to explain myself to you.
Khushi (in her mind): Hey Devi Maiya what type of man is this! He takes my passport with him and does not even have the courtesy to apologise! And what does he mean by he was no expecting ME to be from Australia! I have never seen such an arrogant man in my life.
Khushi: Instead of accepting your mistake ... you are indirectly accusing me to be from Australia! Unbelievable! (After pausing for a second she added) Actually what else can I expect from an arrogant man like you.
Arnav: What the ... If you are expecting me to apologise to you then don't even think about it. Arnav Singh Raizada does not apologise to anyone!
Khushi: Oh really! Is it because you are scared to accept your mistakes! (She asked him sarcastically.)
Arnav was going to argue back when Khushi interfered.
Khushi: You know what ... I don't want to even know about it! I have had enough of you! I don't want to spoil my day any more by arguing with you. I have a flight to catch. So bye Mr Arnav Singh Raizada! It was not at all nice to meet you!
Saying so she walked again towards the check-in counter with her ticket and HER passport and praying to her Devi Maiya to not bring that Laad Governor in front of her ever again.
This time it was Arnav who had his mouth open. No one had ever spoken to him like that. Now he hated her arrogance. He turned around and walked away from her whishing not to see that crazy girl ever again.
But little did they know that their prayers and wishes would never come true as there are a lot of encounters coming their way!
