Angad would spent the next 7 years of his life in that prison looking up every time he heard sound of feet coming up the the stone stairs, but no one ever came for him.
Kripa's house
"Wow kripa u look so beautiful there is no way anyone can reject u, i dont even think i looked that good on my wedding day." The camera zooms on a pretty 22 year old girl dressed in a sari, standing beside a 24 year old kripa.
"Shut up Ria! Why do u always praise me on everything."
"I am not praising u, i am just telling the truth ur beautiful."
There is a knock on the door, "er... kripa can i borrow my wife for a while."
Kripa smiles at her 25 year old brother, "Yes u can, i know u both cant stay away from each other for more then 5 minutes, Ria was just telling me how much she was missing u."
Ria blushed, "No i wasnt."
"Ria i can read minds, if prithvi hadn't come in about 2 more seconds u would have been running out there to see weather prithvi was alright or not."
"Ok whatever its useless arguing with u." Ria leaves with prithvi.
Prithvi kisses her on her cheeks, "U look beautiful."
Ria laughs, "U dont look so bad ur self except... is that a tie around ur neck."
"Ya i er... kind of messed up."
Ria smiles, "I ll fix it up. And remember to behave ur self in front of the guests."
"Ur telling me... tell that to kripa, she rejected 3 guys b/c their nose were too long and 4 because they simply annoyed her."
"They were not good enough for kripa." Ria says simply
"Hey, ur my wife ur suppose to agree with me."
"Who says."
"Ria!! U have like spoiled kripa."
"She is still a kid. I dont even think she should be getting married yet."
"U were 20 when we got married!!"
"Well that was because u couldn't wait any longer."
"Ya well when i have got this hot of a girl who can wait." Prithvi hugs her.
Ria pushes him away, "Its no time to romance, the guests must be down by now, mummy papa are already with them we need to be down by now."
"Ok." Prithvi and ria leave and step downstairs half way downstairs naina stops them.
"Ria beta can u plzz bring kripa." Naina says, she is sitting next to delip. who are sitting across from a 25 year old boy and his parents.
"ok mama." Ria goes back up the stairs
Ria steps downstairs with kripa minutes later, Kripa looks at the guy studying him closely, she already doesnt like him, he wasnt that bad looking but too dark of a complexion and no fashion style, she knew at once he wasnt the right guy for her but she knew she would have to go downstairs and politely reject him.
"Namaste aunty" Kripa says to the boys mother. She sits down on the sofa beside her.
"Naina we love ur daughter."
Naina casts a worried glance at her daughter looking for her expression, " Er... then i think we should finalize this marraige."
"Mama, u know that i am not ready for this marraige yet, I am sorry aunty, my mom just told me to meet the guy, he is very good looking and i love all of u, but seriously i dont think i am ready yet." Kripa says with the sweetest smile.
"Aww thats sad we would have loved to have u as a daugher in law in our house."
"I would too but i want to study more and well i am just not ready for marraige yet."
"Kripa!" Naina says warningly
"Mama i told u i am not ready yet." kripa says smiling
"It's ok naina u should give her some more time if she is not ready yet, i guess we should leave now."
Naina smiles at them, as soon as they leave naina looks at her daughter, "What do u mean ur not ready yet!!"
"I just told that to make them go away, what was i suppose to say i think their son is not good looking."
"Kripa i dont understand what u want. This way u will never find anyone."
"I will mom dont worry, i dont want to be marrying just any "anyone", its my life and i want a suitable life partner someone who would understand me, and would be perfect for me. Some one who would take my breath away when i first see him.
"Mama i dont think u need to worry she is still too young and i am sure she will find some one."
"See mom ria even agrees with me."
"Hmm... I think its time for another guy." Delip says standing up everyone looks at him surprised, "His name is Sahil, a very young successful bussiness man."
"Dad i dont want to see another guy."
"I am sure u ll like him i think he is the perfect match for u."
"Perfect match, my foot i hate his name to begin with Sahil... hmph." Kripa goes off angrily, Ria following her knowing exactly why she got so mad at the name Sahil.
