Sorry I couldn't replied to the last update as I was bit preoccupied. Now coming to the updates. Both of them was beautifully penned. Swayam and Sharon's stage equation is awesomely penned. And its intriguing to see how it will unfold over the time. Assumption is th mother of all goof ups. I see how you hae used this line in the last update to create all the misunderstanding. But I am glad all that's settled between SwaRon for good. Their sms conversation was nice. And btw Ananya's character seems interesting and I guess have more role to play. Looking ofrward to the next update.

Part 4

Swayam Shekhawat was one of the most good looking boys of St.Louis school. So it was not a surprising thing that lots of girls came to wish him on his birthday. Sharon was not among them.Infact she didn't even know that it was his birthday. She was in her own little world...She was dreamily walking, thinking that someone would come and pull her out of her dream land..She was so lost in herself that she didn't notice Akanksha trotting towards her and she had no idea about how she hit her or how both of them fell down or how her books fell. She looked towards Akanksha who was looking at her as if she wanted to push her and go. She was on a cold war with Sharon. Sharon who was well aware of this fact, avoided speaking to her.. She chose not to speak and to keep quite. Akanksha was her another source of memories. Whenever Sharon looked at her, she used to remember only one thing-Swayam and how he and Akanksha had made their relationship official and how Sharon had reacted.

Flashback

Vicky:Guys!!I have to announce something..!!Actually not me..but Akanksha has to..

All:What?

Ak:Guys..Not me..actually me and Swayam..we want to announce something...Swayam?

Swayam looked unsure about something and a bit impassive. He kept on looking towards Sharon..Sharon too was looking towards him..Akanksha noticed this and brought him out of his trance.

Ak: Swayam..???SWAYAM!!

Sw:Yeah..I am here..You tell it to them..

Ak:Ok..So guys..Me and Swayam are in a relationship!!We are committed..!!

Everyone was shocked including Sharon...

Sh(in mind):That day..Whatever I heard..??Swayam said that he loves me so what is he doing with this nerd? Nevertheless he must have said that to hide his real love...But then why did he take my name?Anyways..why do I even care?

All the girls started congratulating Akanksha and the guys were still shocked..Especially Rey..

R: Dude,that day whatever you said??What was that??Sharon??

Sw: Actually Rey..

Just then Akanksha came and held Swayam's hand and started walking away from the boys. Sharon did not react and just walked off from there...It happened by chance that Akanksha and Swayam were walking and Sharon was walking towards them when she bumped into Akanksha.

Ak: Hey..You watch it geek...

Sh:You are calling me a geek??Nerd

Ak:How dare you call me a nerd?

Sh:How dare you call me a geek?

Ak:because you are a one..weirdo..

Sh:Oh..look who is talking..

Ak:Hey you watch it..You are talking to me..to akanksha..

All this while Swayam was eyeing Sharon and he had a look of concern for her...It felt as if he was asking Sharon to just ignore Akanksha...

Ak:Swayam...dear...No point in arguing with this girl...Lets go...

Sharon decided that she could not stand there any longer and Swayam was watching all this. Without saying anything else she walked off from there...Swayam saw this and went behind her...

Sw: Sharon..!!Wait...

Sharon turned to see Swayam hurriedly coming towards her.

Sh: What? Why are you here?

Sw: Actually Akanksha should not have said those things to you..I am saying sorry to you..on her behalf..

Sh:Swayam,go to your girlfriend..No need to sympathize with me.I don't need it..ok?Just go to her.

Swayam went from there without saying a word more.

Sh(monologue):Sharon,were you always rude with Akanksha?Or is this the first time??No...I have behaved rudely with her for the first time today..And why did this behavior materialize only after she announced that she was committed??

(Flashback ends)

Sharon hated Akanksha but she didn't lack in ethics. Hence she helped Akanksha with her books when she saw a card in the shape of a heart painted red. On the cover page it was written...

"To Swayam..You will always be the best for me. Happy Birthday-Akanksha"

Sh:Umm..your card..

Ak(in an abrasive way):Hey..how dare you touch it..I have made it especially for Swayam...Give it to me...

Sharon was irked by her reply and her continuous jibing.She gave her the card and got up...Without saying anything else she ignored whatever Akanksha was saying and started walking towards her class.

Sh(inner voice):Hmm..so it is Swayam's birthday today...I'll wish him before this girl does...I know I don't have any gift for him at present but how does it matter? It's the thought that counts.

Sharon entered the class and saw everyone else wishing Swayam...She decided that she would wish him only after everyone else present there would have finished wishing him.

Swayam on the other hand was tired of saying "thank you".He was happy that everyone remembered his birthday but his eyes were searching for the person who later made his day...

It was recess and Sharon had still not wished him. She wanted to talk to him alone. Finally she got a chance when he went outside the class to the corridor to get some fresh air since his place was crowded by lots of people since the morning.

Sh: Hey Swayam...

Sw:Sharon..what happened?Do you wanna know the date for submitting the physics assignment now?

Sharon looked down and lol-ed...And then said...

Sh:No...By the way what assignment do we have to complete in physics?

Sw:I don't remember any...I just said that out of nowhere...

Sharon gave him a light smile...and then remembered her actual reason for talking to him...

Sh:Actually Swayam..umm...I wanted to..umm...wish you... happy birthday...

And she smiled again, forwarded her right hand to touch his right hand and to shake hands with him...

Sw:thanks Sharon...

He was ecstatic...He did not want to know if she had remembered his birthday or not...What mattered to him the most was that she wished him...without any compulsion...on her own...

They stayed like that for a while...until Akanksha finally came and brought both of them back to planet earth from their small dream world.

Ak(in an elated way):Swayam...!!

Swayam was still looking at Sharon...until Akanksha came and shouted right in his ears...

Ak:HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAYAM!!!I have made a card for you...on my own...!!I know you will like it a lot...!

Saying this she pushed Sharon, broke her hand contact with Swayam and moved her hand to shake hands with him...Both, Sharon and Swayam were stunned...They had a two second eye lock and then Sharon without saying anything went back to the class...Swayam wanted to call Sharon back but his futile practice was crushed by Akanksha.

Ak: Swayam...you didn't say whether you liked the card or not...

Sw:If I say that I don't like it will you agree??No right??Now please excuse me...I have to go...

Akanksha gave him a disgusted look and then Swayam walked away from her...

Sharon was sitting in her place. She wanted to see his smile once more.She wanted to feel the warmth of his hands once more.She wanted to be near him.Thats when he entered the class and without giving her a look, he walked past her and sat in his place. On the other hand Sharon was unhappy too. Something was constantly bugging her. She felt uneasy. Rey noticed the behavior change in both of them and decided to talk to Swayam first.

Rey: Swayam?

Swayam was not responding.Thats when Kriya broke the ice and said-

Kr:Rey...he is not talking to me. How will he talk to you?

R: Why not? He is one of my closest friends.I guess something is bothering him,hence this behavior.

Kr:He is my friend too.He would have told me if something was wrong.

R(irritated by the fact that Kriya considered Swayam as her close friend):He is your friend,not boyfriend...and secrets are told only to best friends.And,I guess you are not his best friend. So why will he tell you anything?

By then Swayam had started listening to their heated argument and was enjoying it.It was the second time he smiled genuinely that day...Sharon too had turned back and was listening to Kriya and Rey's continuous jittering.

Swayam and Sharon together: Guys??

That's when Kriya and Rey stopped their argument and turned their heads only to find Swayam and Sharon looking at them in amusement...

Sharon on the other hand realized that she had said something with Swayam.Rey looked at Sharon. Sharon turned her face and she realized that her face was turning a deep shade of red.She was blushing,for the first time in her entire life, she was blushing. She stayed like that for a while when Rey came and tapped her on her shoulder.

R:Sharon?Look at me...!!

Sh(still smiling,she turned her face towards Rey but was looking down):Umm..What?

R:Actually...(hooting)Someone's cheeks have turned pink!.Sharon..is this the first time you are blushing?

Sharon shook her head in disagreement...in order to tell rey that she was not blushing.

R:Yeah I know how much you are not.Go and see a mirror.Your face has turned red.

Sh:Oh please Rey...Now go.. and let me finish my work...

R:Ok ok...Actually I wanted to tell you something...

Sh:What?

R:Swayam!!

Sharon's face turned crimson at once.

R:Next time...I'll bring a mirror..Then you'll realize how much you blush when I take his name..

Sh:Shutup Rey!!Now go..!!

R:Ok..ok..I am going..

Rey heard someone calling his name..He realized that it was Swayam.

Sw:Rey...

R:Yeah...?

Sw:Can I talk to you?

R:Yeah sure..

Sw:Ok listen...Today... was a birthday like never before...(dreamily)Sharon wished me and she smiled too..(snapping out of it)

Rey:Ahem!!

Sw:Rey..please..That's not the point..The point is Akanksha...Cant she see that I am not interested in her?I mean...today she crossed all her limits...she gave me a heart shaped card!!I couldn't even tell her to back off...!!

R:Lol..You wanted Sharon to give you that card?

Sw:No..I mean..

R:I must be really stupid to ask you this question...Obviously you wanted Sharon to give you that card!!

Sw:REY!!!

R: Ok fine...Let's get serious..What do you want me to do?

Sw:Tell her to stay away from me..!!

R:You crazy?I wont..She is your problem not mine...And if I talk to her Kriya will assume that I am flirting with her too and you know how these girls are na...over possessive about their better halfs..Do one thing...just ignore her..

Sw: That's what I am doing..She is a big problem!!

R:I cant help it then...I guess you should continue ignoring her..It will help...Trust me...

Sw:Ok..fine..I'll try my best to stay away from her...thanks anyways...

R:Anytime..

The rest of the day passed quite normally...except that Sharon found herself getting too much involved in Swayam. After the school,she went home, studied for some time and slept..Well, she couldn't even sleep properly because she was thinking only about Swayam. Swayam was getting on her nerves..at least this is what she thought..Vehemently, she decided that she would start ignoring him from the next day.

So this was the fourth part!!Can't tell when the next update will be!!But do leave your likes and comments!!
