"My wife.. My inspiration" - Armaan Mallik

Shilpa closed her eyes tiredly as she set in the sofa. Susi followed her and set beside her equally tired.. "One of us should really get a car soon "
Shilpa laughed on her words and opened her eyes.. "You already have a car Susi. And sadly it broke today.. "
"I know right " Susi rolled her eyes.. "I hate walking to long distances.. "
"I told you right you should have gone home instead of dropping me " Shilpa smiled softly at her.. "But am glad you did.. "
"Ofcourse i have to " Susi smiled back.. "Otherwise what will your boyfriend say ? "
Shilpa blushed softly.. "Oh dont think of him. He always get over protective about me.. "
"And thats not at all bad " Susi grinned and rubbed her stomach.. "I feel famished. Can i get any food by chance.."
Shilpa laughed.. "Help urself i did make some food before i leave.. "
"How do you take time for cooking " Susi shook her head in surprise.. "I hardly get time after work even. But ofcourse you have to cook for him too. Still you work so hard writing all those articles.. "
"I love writing.. " She smiled widely.. "I always wanted to become a writer.. "
" Yea yea " Susi smiled and got up.. "I am famished want to have lunch with me ?"
"No " Shilpa shook her head and laughed.. "You know i cant "
"Oh yea boyfriend " Susi rolled her eyes.. "You are waiting for him right ??? " Susi teased her badly..
"Ofcourse " Shilpa smiled again..
"Believe me.. Its so nice to see you love someone like that.. " Shilpa shifted uncomfortably hearing her words.. Susi frowned seeing her reaction.. "But what about your life before three years.. ? You never talked about it "
Shilpa stilled as the harsh memories rushed through her mind.. She sighed heavily and glanced away.. "And i dont wish to talk about it even..That life was just a incomplete fairytale... "
Susi gave a sympathy look and set beside her.. "Aww Baby.. You sound like you did loose someone precious.. "
"Ohh i think i became too melodramatic.. "Shilpa laughed easing off the tension.."I didint mean to say so.. " She sighed.. "Its just i wish to forget the bad memories.. I did hurt some people. And i dont want those memories to haunt me. "
"Ofcourse you will.. As you have a good reason infront of you now.. "Susi smiled..
"Yes i do.. " Shilpa agreed with her peacefully...

"Ohhh " Armaan moaned painfully.. "This headache hurts bad.. I should have avoided cold water.. "
Seema glanced at Armaan worriedly.. "Why dont you take a day off if the cold is worse.. "
Armaan shook his head with a sniff.. "Its just a cold.. " He sneezed again while Seema shook her head.. "You are so stubborn. Come on atleast take a break.. "
Armaan smiled slightly and got up agreeing.. "I guess so. I could use a little rest.."
He glanced at the time and shifted uncomfortably.. "I will be back about in two hours.. "
"Take your time.. " Seema frowned.. "Why do you get nervous like this.. ?? "
"I dont.. " Armaan hesitated.. He rubbed his forehead cursing softly.. Seema moved forward... "Should i give some massage if it hurts.. "
"No " Armaan moved back instantly.. Seema frowned deep seeing his reaction. Why did he always back away when she came close. She wondered unhappily.. Armaan tried to give a small smile and spoke... "I know what to do.. I will be back in sometime .. See you.. "
"Ok " Seema spoke quietly as she watched him leave hurriedly..

"Shilpa "
He nudged her again as they lay on bed in afternoon..
"Shilpaaa "
"Dont shout Armaan " Shilpa groaned sinking her head on the pillow.. "My head hurts bed.. Damn cold... "
He laughed and shook his head.. "I am not even shouting.. I was whispering your name.. " He frowned slightly seeing her eyes misty.. "Is it hurting that bad ?? "
"Yes it is " She whispered softly... He got up from the bed without a word and cameback with a medicine in his head...
"Let me apply this on your head.. " He spoke quitely pulling her in his arms..
Shilpa nestled against him and groaned again... "No its ok. I will do myself.."
"No you cant " He argued softly.. "Let me do it.. I will be gentle.. "
She smiled at him widely making his heart flutter in response.. He soothed the balm on her forehead gently caressing it.. Shilpa closed her eyes and lay her head on his lap as he massaged her head.. She smiled.. "You have magical hands.. " As he put away the medicine she shifted on her pillow and glanced at him lovingly..
"Thank you Hubby.. "
"Anytime Cinderella.. " He grinned as he noticed her rolling her eyes at hearing the name.. Shilpa closed her eyes for a while resting but they flew open as she realized he was hugging her close..
"No Armaan.. " She protested lightly.. "You will get cold stay away.. "
He chuckled and held her more closer.. "I remember how you took care of me when i was sick.. So dont try this stay away tactic with me.. "
She sighed dramatically which made him laugh softly... He glanced in her eyes seeing her stare at him lovingly.. "Sleep now.. " He whispered kissing lightly on her lips..
She smiled drowsily and closed her eyes falling into a peaceful slumber..

"I am back " Armaan spoke cheerfully as he noticed Seema in his cabin.. Seema glanced at him stunned. He looked relaxed and happy. Hardly there was any sign of cold.. "You look fresh " She noted .. "And hardly sick.. What did you do.."
He flushed slightly hearing her words and just shook his head.. "I just got a good relaxation.. "
Seema shook his head in suspicion.. Why did this man have to be so mysterious.. Always hiding things. And she didint feel happy about it..
Suddenly she reminded about the big news and spoke happily.. "Oh yes i forgot to tell you. When you were gone i got the call from Mr. Oberoi.. " She flashed her big smile.. "You have got the Project Armaan.. "
His eyes widened as he came towards her stunned.. "Are you joking.. " He shook his head still shocked.. "I thought it was impossible to get that project.. Omg we did it !! "
"Yes we did.. But its all your hardwork Armaan.." Seema agreed happily.. Suddenly she moved forward and hugged him.. "I am so happy for you.. "
Armaan stilled in her embrace.. It made her realize she had taken a drastic step. He just stood unresponsive as she hugged him. No retreat No response. She noted sadly and pulled away from him awkwardly.. Armaan glanced away uncomfortable once again... "Be right back.. " He whispered and excused himself..
Seema stood there alone once again unhappy.. "Why Armaan.. What stops you so badly.. ? "

"Shilpa... Shilpaaa !! "
"Armaan why are you shouting " Shilpa asked as she pulled out the apron and set it on the counter.. "Dont shout if your mom hears she will kill us both.. "She whispered giggling softly.
"I cant even tell you how happy i am.. " He spoke happily hugging her close.. "Oh Shilpa !! " He swirled her around as she squealed in response..
"Armaan put me down.. " She laughed.. "Oh tell me why are you so happy.. "
"I got the contract...My first ever contract " He spoke with gleaming eyes.. "Didint i tell you how nervous i was about this.. "
"Oh you did.. " She smiled widely.. "But i knew it Armaan i trusted you to be successful on your first project.. I cant even tell you how happy i am to hear this news.. "
"Its all because of you.. " He whispered pulling her close.. "You are the reason why i got all the confidence.. You helped me in the most crucial time.. "
She titled her head and smiled cutely.. "And you will always find me there when you have such crucial moment.. " She hugged him placing her head on his chest.. "By your side. Helping you out in every trouble.. "
He kissed her forehead and held her close in his embrace.. "You are the biggest inspiration in my life.. And will always be.. "
She blushed softly and pulled away from him.. "Oh where is my treat.. " She asked grinning at him..
Armaan smiled amused.. "I did wonder when you will ask that.. " He laughed as he smacked his arm.. "Lets go tonight and do a romantic dinner together.. "
"Together " She smiled brushing her lips on his which got him exited.. "I like the idea of together... "
He nibbled on her lips as she smiled.. " And there are many things which we can do together.. Cinderella.."
With that he kissed her deeply pouring out all his love..

"Hey Armaan you look Happy.. " Seema mused as she joined him in cafeteria. Armaan smiled at her and put his phone in his pocket..
"Who were you calling " She inquired sitting beside him..
Armaan shifted slightly and spoke hesitantly.. "Just Mr.Oberoi.. " He mumbled looking away..
"Ohh " Seema smiled.. "Anyways you have got such a good achievement.. You have to give us a party.. "
"Armaan frowned slightly.. "Party.. I hope not tonight.. "
"Ofcourse tonight Armaan " Seema rolled her eyes.. "Tomorrow we have to work again.. We want a party right guys.. "
"Exactly !! " Natasha spoke as she and other colleagues joined them.. "Armaan sir come on give us some treat. Say yes for the party.. "
Armaan set not knowing what to say.. He thought for a while and smiled.. "How about we do it for evening.. About 7 pm ? "
"Sure.. " One of the colleague spoke.. "We just want a party from you.. "
"Well then its settled.. Armaan smiled at them.. "Its a party tonight.. ! "
