Part-3 : Desperate hearts

Viren relentlessly rubbed Manvi's cheeks trying to make her touch the reality not lost in the dreams. Manvi opened her fierce red eyes but didn't utter a word. She was lost in the thought that how their friendship started and how their love ended. She closed her eyes and blood gushed to her cheeks.

"Nar Nar" murmuring that Viren placed his thumps on Manvi's cheeks and wiped away the tears "Manvi ' your tears are more precious than my heart beat ' please don't let them flow like this, I will throw away this eternal life and embrace the death if I will have to see you like this again". "Viren" sniffing Manvi gave a tight hug to Viren. He tightened his grip on her body. "Manvi ' I am sorry all this happened due to my love" said Viren sadly then cupped Manvi's face "My love is your dangerous enemy". Viren dropped his hands from her cheeks and turned around not to show his teary eyes to Manvi.

Manvi put her hand on his shoulder. "Viren ' What are you saying? The accident" Manvi rolled her eyes "Did you do that purposely just to make me your kind?" she said angrily stressing each and every word. Viren abruptly turned towards her shaking his head in negative manner. "Manvi ' you suspect me?"he questioned her calmly but Manvi didn't reply then he continued " Me ?? I have been waiting to get your love for many hundred years and you are suspecting me. If u r hurt a little, my whole body boil with pain and you are suspecting me" he said with the pain in his voice.

"What do u mean by hundreds of years ' I m just 20" Manvi questioned him with a ghostly face. Viren gave a serious look and said "That's not your pain, that's my pain". Manvi shook Viren's body "I need to know what that is about!" she said with confusion. She blinked her eyes then he was lost. She searched him like a predator hunting its prey but he was completely vanished. She sat at the corner with teary eyes remembering her one and only love, Virat.

*Flashback*

The day was so perfect. Virat had just presented his feelings in front of her through the song and she accepted the meaning of the lyrics with the smile on her face. Her dil , her jaan just confessed his feeling and she was on cloud nine. She had heard every laughter is followed by painful tears but she come to believe when her perfect day turned out terrible nightmare.

She looked at the person who gave so much happiness to her with a bright smile. Virat noticed that and slide his hand over hers under the bench. She tried to pull away her hand from his strong grip looking at the surrounding filled with her classmates shyly. Virat pushed his face towards her ears. "Please don't try to break the romance. I have waited enough, have some pity on me Miss. Romance breaker" he whispered those cute words into her ear. As soon as those words entered her ear, her eyes bulged out with shock. This naughty man had turned out...no not double, more than triple naughty.

She looked at his side with her mischievous smile then whispered "Mr Romance creator, ask the pity from the irritated lecturer". She giggled after that and turned away pretending to focus on the boring chemistry lecture. Virat eyes popped out after seeing the lecturer who was irritated with Virat for not focusing on his lecture. Virat bit his lip and pretend as if his mind was into chemistry lesson but who knows his mind was on the romantic chemistry between his and the girl who sat next to him.

He moved towards her inch by inch and she moved away from him inch by inch. She glared at him pretending to be angry but he returned her anger with a sweet smile then moved towards her again. She looked at the edge of bench from the corner of her eyes. Just an inch was left. If she moved more than an inch, she would fall down to the ground.

She signaled him to stop with her eyes. He smirked shaking his head left and right. She groaned and looked away from him but he was determined not to waste this chance. He had got this opportunity to romance with his dream girl after two years which were driving him crazy whenever he saw her attractive smile. She pushed him with her hand on his chest signaling him to stop otherwise she would fall down.

"Isn't that you have already fallen in my love?" he questioned her with his sexy and husky voice. She moved away from him annoyed. She was about to fall down when Virat's strong hand give her support. "Darling you can fall from the sky, you can fall from a bench but the best way to fall is in love with me" Virat said smirking. Manvi was lost in his love filled eyes "Don't you know I am already" she murmured winking.

While Virman were lost in their romantic world, the lecture came towards them. Then the lecture knocked their desk. Virman woke up from their dream and ready to face the reality. "Get out" the lecturer bellowed. As soon as Virman heard him, they run away from the room.

Manvi breathed deeply after running away from the classroom. Virat looked at her admiring her innocence beauty. He approached towards her and placed his hand on her face. After feeling his hand, Manvi closed her eyes. His hand reached her eyes and traced it. "Your eyes show me how beautiful life really is, never close them". Manvi moaned with excitement. He moved his hand on her hair which was tied into a pony tail. He let out the hair and smelled. "Your open hair reminds me of the smell of roses". Manvi smiled. Then his eyes were focused on her glossy lips. He traced her lips with closed eyes trying to control what his heart was ordering him to do. "Your lips turn me into a drug addict with no cure, use them well to attract me I promise that will never go in vain" Manvi turned her face away from him. He pulled her face then cupped it. "Your touch made me a mad man who can never be sane" he mumbled smiling. A drop of tear rolled down from her eyes "Virat I love you" saying that she hugged him tightly. Virat wrapped his arms around her "Your love cures me from all cuts, wounds and pains. Please never stop loving me, I might die" his voice said what he was saying was truth. "Never" Manvi whispered back.

*Flashback ended*

When Manvi touched the reality, she was in Viren's arms and he was running like a bullet train. She looked at the surroundings around her which were changing in a blink. "Viren' what's going on?" she called out but he didn't reply. His focused was on a particular thing. Manvi pinched him but it didn't work too. She cursed him badly from her heart for making her life disaster.

His speed seemed to decrease when they were approaching towards a peculiar cave. He entered the cave and placed Manvi carefully on top of a muddy ground. Then he blocked the opening of a cave with grasses and plants.

He moved towards Manvi unbuttoning his shirt. Manvi looked at him with shock. "Viren ' what are you doing?" she questioned him. He removed his shirt then started to unbutton his pant. "Viren!" Manvi shrieked closing her eyes. She was baffled with his behavior as well as terrified of his hidden intention. "Ya ya" saying deeply he moved towards her. "You need to do too" then he put his hand on her blouse. Manvi couldn't bear anymore. She gave a tight slap on his right cheek. "How dare you touch me? How dare you?" she said angrily making her red eyes even redder. She pushed him by his chest "Stay away from me ' you bloody man' Just go away" she shouted with such a high pitch that her voice seemed to crack.

"Manvi ' please understand" Viren pleaded but Manvi didn't listen anything. "I told you 'go away" she shouted again. He rushed away from there with the teary eyes. Whenever he tried to do something good for her every time it messed up but he will always be there to save her, His only LOVE.

Manvi lied down on the muddy ground thinking about how her life changed. She didn't even realize that Sun had woken up and started showering its rays. When a glimpse of sunray penetrated through the grasses which were blocking its way and reached near Manvi, Manvi couldn't control her happiness. How she love bright and hate dark. How she prays every day for sunshine, she only knows. She went towards the entrance with excitement but as soon as sun ray touched her skin, it burned. She cried with pain then immediately pulled her hand away. She went inside the cave again as she couldn't go out. She spent her whole day inside the dark and gloomy cave missing her love.

Virat was restless after seeing the lock on Manvi's house. She didn't go to school and didn't inform him too. He was too worried so he planned to visit her house but her house was locked. He didn't know what to do. He tried to call her but her line was out of reach. He threw the phone angrily at the floor and sat down at her doorstep. He knocked her door although knowing she is not inside. "Manvi" he shouted. Then again he knocked repeatedly until his hands wounded.

He looked at his wounded hands "Manvi ' I love you" tears gushed down from his eyes. It seemed like everything is broken, the love, the promise and his heart. She left him without a goodbye note. He also noticed Viren didn't come to Collage and his love for her. He knew that Manvi loves Viren as a friend but now everything seemed clear ' she loves him as a lover. That's why she ran away after he confessed his feeling.

He banged her door again. "Manvi did you really betrayed me?" he closed his eyes and he saw her innocence face. He shook his head "No ' Manvi ' I know I m wrong u can never betray me ' I know you love me ' but what's wrong Manvi?? Why are you lost suddenly? Don't you even think I deserve to know?". He stayed till midnight at her doorstep.

Viren sat down under a big tree preventing him from the rays of Sun. He wiped away the excessive tears flowing like a river from his eyes. "Manvi ' why don't u understand me? I love you manvi" he rested his head on the stem of the tree "Manvi ' I can never think of hurting you ' I m here for giving you happiness only ..just happiness" he closed his eyes. "But this Maya ' I will kill her" he said sternly.
