He slid open the wardrobe door and opened his diary where he had kept the paper that he had found from Khushi's bag. He had kept the paper with himself as a constant reminder of how he had shattered the dreams of an 18 year old. He unfolded the paper and saw two hand drawn red hearts with her smiling picture stuck in one and other heart had a newspaper cutting of his picture. Below the picture Khushi had written in Hindi

Somehow I cannot bear the pain of that part of my body to be in this darkness. So I decide that in order to save this little life, I should go to the light. I am able to walk now, without any pain. As I approach the lights, I feel better. I am not walking alone. The footfalls are right beside me, walking with me, encouraging me.🤗🤗🤗

I try to peek inside one of the holes to see the life beyond it. It is beautiful. The footfalls try to tear down that sieved curtain so that I can go over the other side. But the footfalls fail again and again..."

This was just so beautifully put. How she is still analyzing things is beyond me but I am glad because she and HER child deserve it. About Arnav...as I said before, I will have nothing to say about him till the time he realizes that his actions, his thoughts were wrong regardless of who was at the receiving end. Till then, he cannot repent because till then he is just trying to say sorry for ONE mistake without understanding the gravity of the situation.
