PART-09
Days passed by and another month went by………..Angad and Mishti met couple of times for drinks, but other than that Angad maintained his distance, saying he was busy, not wanting to give wrong idea to Mishti, as well as not wanting to hurt Kripa………He loved spending time with Kripa and looked forward for the Saturdays…….No one still knew about their meetings, other than Kanan………But she had kept quite, knowing it was their personal matter……It puzzled her about Kripa meeting him, because Kripa was rather very shy and rarely talked, but she kept the thought to herself for now, as Kripa never talked about it herself though…..…..And ofcourse Josh, kept his promise to Angad and helped Kripa giving her a friendly hand…….Josh and Angad met few times, and Josh let him know about Kripa and her progress, though it was just casual visits to soccer games during the season, where both participated from their respective colleges………
One day Kripa was going to the library from the class, when Prithvi stopped her………
P: Hey Kripa, kaisi ho?
K: Achi hun Prithvi……..
P: Did Kanan or Josh told you about the trip we were planning? He asked and Kripa looked at him confused and shook her head……Oh ok, may be they must have been busy………Anyway……..We are all planning a trip to Las Vegas next week……Long weekend bhi hai aur saab free hai……..Why don't you join in too……..Angad, Josh, Kanan, mein aur meri behen aur 4-5 log saab aa rahe hain…..!
K: Kripa was in a fix……she did not know what she should say……Angad did not tell her any thing before…..Prithvi…….She was about to say that she will tell him later, when her cell phone started ringing…….Sorry Prithvi ek minute…..
K: Hello…..
A: Hey Kripa, busy to nahi thi na?
K: Nahi…..kaho…..
A: Dekho, agar Prithvi tumhe Los Vegas ke trip ke trip par ane ko kahe to haan keh dena………ok…..
K: Par………
A: Common Kripa…….ekhad weekend friends ke sath bhi bitana acha hota hai……I know you want me all to yourself…….but……..Kripa blushed and switched off the phone, before he could say anything……
Angad chuckled looking at the phone and kept it inside with a grin……
Kripa looked at Prithvi, who was waiting for her and went to him…..
K: Sorry……..Kab ja rahe ho? She asked slowly a little hesitant…….
P: Next Thursday, early morning at 5……..
K: Thik hai…..mein chalungi…….She said slowly……
P: Cool……He said with a grin……thik hai, phir ready rehna…….Josh se meri baat hogi, to woh tumhe details pass kar dega……We will divide the expenses later…….Waise, hotel mere uncle ka hai, issiliye acha khasa discount mein mil raha hai, as it is off season……It will all cost around 300-400 $ or so all together for 3 nights as well as a ride to Grand Canyon……Everyone opted for their own rooms, so……You are ok with it?….Kripa nodded and then thanked him and walked to the library, unaware of Prithvi staring at her……..
The following saturday, she told her music teacher about not coming the next weekend and then went to do some shopping with Angad……..They talked to Avantika and Dilip and told them about their trip……..They were happy to see Angad and Kripa were getting along so nicely, inspite of their hurried marriage…….Angad and Kripa went to visit Dilip's friend the next day, on Dilip's insistence, who had helped Kripa get her admission and spent the evening with them……They were elderly couple, who stayed alone, as their son worked in New York……It was a little far and they were late by the time they came back.…….Kanan was all ready to sleep, a little worried about Kripa, as she did not know where she was and then she saw him and was surprised to see Kripa coming so late………
Ka: Hey kahan thi itni der………? Kripa bit her lips, but then shook her head and sighed……….
K: Woh Angad ke sath, uske mom dad ke friends se milne gayi thi………Yahin ek ghante ke drive par rehte hain……….She said slowly and Kanan raised her eyebrow……..
Ka: Seriously, are you both dating or what…….? She asked with a grin, not able to resist………And Kripa blushed looking away, thanking the dim light in the room…….
K: Aisi koi baat nahi……..woh mere papa ke dost ka beta hai…….Isiliye……….she said slowly………
Ka: Tumhare papa ke dost ka beta?
K: Haan…….I stayed with his family……..Mera matlab hai, mere mama papa ke accident ke baad……..
Kanan looked at her surprised……..Woh wahi ladka hai, jin ke ghar tum rehti thi? Kripa nodded……..Kanan looked at her curiously……Par uss din aisa nahi laga mujhe, to log sath mein rehte the, I mean you hardly said hi, but then again may be I just was too pre-occupied…….It is obvious you both know eachother well, since you meet almost every weekend……..She said smiling a little…..
Kanan looked at Kripa thinking about her.…..Yeah, she had known that Kripa went with Angad many of the times and thought they were friends, but did not know that Kripa was staying with them all those years after her parents death………Now she understood why she was free with him, when she never talked to anyone else in college much…….
K: Haan, bas woh teen saal se yahan hai, to jyada baat nahi ho pati…….She said looking down and feeling bad for lying……But she sighed………Would it make a difference, if she said the truth to everyone? She thought sighing…….May be after 3-4 months she can, she thought, after they know eachother well………Kanan was a wonderful friend and helpful…….She also was always cheerful and encouraged Kripa and filled in her doubts whenever she had some………Even Josh helped a lot and she had somewhat become free with them……….Kanan nodded and sighed……..So, you spend your weekend with Mr. Angad every week, right…….? She asked with raised eyebrows with mischief and Kripa stilled and then slowly nodded………
K: Haan woh, mujhe English mein problem ho rahi thi, to woh help kar raha hai……! She said feeling nervous about saying lie after lie………She made herself busy, keeping everything in place, not able to meet her eyes…….Kanan smiled and nodded…….
Ka: Anyway, chal mein soti hun, bahot neend aa rahi hai……..Good night………
K: Goodnight…….Kripa whispered sighing thankfully, that Kanan asked no further questions and went to change……She decided to talk to Angad about this soon……
Later, Kripa became busy with her studies as she had couple of exams that week and then on Wednesday evening packed up her bag along with Kanan, who was over the top as Nishant was also joining them along……..There were around 10 of them together…….Including Josh, Kanan, Nishant, Kripa, Angad, Mishti, Prithvi and few other friends…….! Angad had even called Shabeer to join, but he was busy shopping as he was leaving the next weekend…….!
Ka: Kripa apni swimming dress bhi sath le lo………..Wahan jis hotel mein Prithvi ne booking ki hai na, they have wonderful indoor water park………We can enjoy a evening over there too…….!!
K: Kanan, mere paas to koi swimming dress nahi hai…….And I don't swim……Mujhe to pani se bhi bahot daar lagta hai…….She said a little embarrased……..Kanan looked at her wide eyed…….
Kanan: You must be joking Kripa………! Any ways…….You know what you should learn swimming here in the campus…….The instructors are excellent and you will be a good swimmer in no time…….!! She suggested…….And don't worry, water park mein sirf rides hai, and the water is not much deep, so you will be fine, we can take some costume there itself………..She said grinning and packing………Kripa stilled and looked at Kanan, thinking how to tell her, that she won't be comfortable in swimming constume, but then shook her head and thought of handling the situation when it came…..She sighed and packed her bag neatly, feeling a little out of place, as she had never gone to any trip this way with friends before……..Kanan and she went down to have their dinner later feeling uneasy still………
Josh came late night to tell them to be ready at the campus parking lot at 5 and then waved and walked off………Kripa was nervous about the trip and hardly slept, but kept quite, knowing Angad would be with her trying to think positive…….
Early morning they got up and were ready by 4.30……..They had their coffee and toast Kripa made for them and then walked down to the parking lot with their bags………Josh was already there and greeted them both with a grin……..
J: Hey Kripa, ready for some fun…….
Kripa just smiled nervously……..
Kanan: Bhai I don't know about fun, but she sure is a nervous wreck……….I am not sure, if she will really enjoy casinos and bars we are planning to go to…….!! She said rolling her eyes………She could see Kripa almost biting her lips every two seconds and thinking something or the other since past few minutes………
J: Common Kanan, give her a break……….Kripa relax……..ok……….If you don't like casinos and bars, there is lot of other stuff to see too……..Here they are………He said, looking at the three cars coming towards them……….
Kripa saw Angad's car as well and wished she could go with him, but then saw Mishti sitting with him in the front……..They stopped all three cars in front of them……….
J: Kripa, tum to Angad aur Prithvi ko janti ho…….So won't mind to go with him, will you? ……Hum Nishant ke car mein baithte hain, he said and before Kanan could say something, Kripa nodded with a smile and went towards Angad's car…..Kanan looked at Josh a little stunned, but was then surprised to see Kripa go towards Angad's car without hesitation, again thinking if Angad and Kripa were more than friends, but then shrugged, thinking might be really they were good friends and sat with Nishant, when he looked at her with mischief, forgetting all about Kripa………
Prithvi was sitting in the back and he got out immediately and opened the back of the car, and kept Kripa's bag in the back……Kripa thanked him was about to sit in, when Angad stopped her……..
A: Kripa, tumhe to motion sickness hai na…….piche mat baitho, nahi to problem ho jayegi.……..Mishti piche chali jayegi……..Is it ok Mishti? He asked looking at Kripa mischiviously……….Kripa for a second looked confused and looked at Angad, who blinked at her, indicating her to play along and she suddenly realized what he was doing and suppressed her smile nodding slightly and stood there, looking at Mishti for her reaction………But to her surprise, Mishti just shrugged and went back, saying hi to Kripa cheerfully………
K: Thanks Mishti…….Kripa said smiling and relaxing slowly and sat in the front, smiling a little at Angad……..Angad looked at her with eyebrows up and then looked behind to the other cars and then drove off………
They drove for 6 full hours, taking a break in between for some breakfast and reached their hotel by 11………Kripa was quite for most of the journey, answering Prithvi, Angad and Mishti in between and she and Angad filled out about her stay with Angad to satisfy their curiosity……..Angad did most of the talking and told them what they asked, keeping it as close to reality………But the fact was, he knew that they couldn't keep this type of matter for long from everyone………May be in 3-4 months, when they are more comfortable and when Kripa is more settled and open, and would learn driving and would be independent, they would tell everyone…….With that thought he kept driving the remaining way………Meanwhile, Kripa was fascinated with beautiful land scape and kept looking out……….At last they reached their destination and stretched, once the got out of the car and looked around happily……Kripa shyly took her bag, and waited looked around a little uncertainly, waiting for everyone……..
Everyone had their own rooms as Prithvi had got discount from his uncle, as it was off season for them all for booking 10 rooms at a time………Josh took the keys from him, as Prithvi paid for the same and gave them all their room keys……….Angad looked at him with question and Josh grinned………
J: Don't worry buddy, your rooms are at the other end of the lobby and next to each other…..Quite far from ours…...! So enjoy……..He whispered winking and chuckling, going forward with his key……….Angad grinned and walked with everyone, looking at Kripa, and indicating her to come……Kripa nodded slowly, and walked behind them……..They decided to meet up in the loby after an hour for lunch……..Angad let the others go forward in the lift, staying behind purposefully with Josh and couple of others as well as Kanan, saying he would help Kripa opening her door and then go to his room as she was new here and everyone agreed and left…….Mishti was eager to use the rest room and headed up, without a word, with first batch, to Angad's relief………He as and then decided to tell her the truth about their marriage and the reason for them to stay quite, before she leaves for India, in couple of months as she was his friend with whom he had shared some fun filled moments in college with their other friends and he did not feel much comfortable to lie…….They all took another lift and went up..….Josh just smiled at Kripa and walked forward along with other friends, while Kripa and Angad slowly walked towards Kripa's room…….
Angad looked at her with a smile and took the card from her hand and showed her how it opened and waited till she went in…….He handed over the keys to her staring at her, while Kripa blushed and thanked him……..Angad nodded with a wink and walked off to his room, even though he wanted to go stay with Kripa in her room……It felt weird, that they were together here, but still in separate rooms……..He sighed and opened his door and went in and throwed his bag on the floor…….He jumped on the bed and grinned looking at the phone after a while and dialed Kripa's room number……..Kripa was looking at the beautiful city outside, but still feeling uneasy and restless in this room, so far away from everyone, when the phone started ringing………She frowned and went to the bed side and took the call………
A: Hi Mrs. Angad Khanna……..Kaisa laga tumhe tumhara room……….Kripa chuckled relaxing and feeling good……..
K: Acha hai……..
A: Missing me?
K: Nahi to………She whispered shyly, but still hoped he was here, as she felt odd and fearful to stay alone………
A: But I am missing you……..Kaho to aa jaun wahan………
K: Aajao………She said chuckling, grinning at his playful tone…..
A: Really…….?
K: Haan……..Kripa smiled and agreed, thinking he was joking…….
A: Ok….here I come……..don't tell me that I did not warn you……..He said keeping the phone…….Kripa frowned and looked at the phone and then suddenly she heard the knock on the door and her eyes widened…….
She went and opened the door and sure enough Angad was standing there with a grin……..
K: Angad, mujhe laga tum majak kar rahe ho……..Jao apne room mein………Kisine dekh liya to……..she asked worriedly……..
A: Keh denge, ki we are dating………He said grinning and coming inside……..Kripa bit her lips and closed the door behind them, feeling more relaxed than she had felt in last 24 hours, as Angad walked in without another thought, before anyone could see………Angad whistled looking around the room………Definetly better than mine…….He said jumping on the bed and sighing……..Kripa just shook her head with a smile and went to open her bag, blushing a little to see him in her room……But it did feel good to have him here………She was very uncomfortable to leave her safety zone and adjust in different place, but atleast Angad's presence made her relax a little..…..Angad stared at her, while she took out her hair brush and other cosmetics and then went to the bathroom to freshen up, too shy to share the room after all this time……..She came out wiping her face and put on some cream and then started brushing her hairs, not able to look at him…….She looked up in the mirror and found Angad starring at her…….She smiled shyly and kept brushing her hair……….Once done, she tied it down and then kept everything properly in place and turned around……….Angad was still staring at her and she blushed……..
K: Angad, kya dekh rahe ho…..? She asked slowly and Angad just smiled and shook his head……..
A: Kripa, thodi der mein utha dena please…….I am tired…..He said closing his eyes………suddenly he smiled to himself mischiviously………Kripa jara please back massage kar do na…….Itni der gadi chala chala kar pith dard dene laga hai…….Kripa looked at him with concern and immediately went to him and sat near him and started massaging his back………..Angad sighed with pleasure and enjoyed her hands on him, until finally he was really asleep…….Kripa looked at him after some time and found him asleep and smiled at him lovingly…….She couldn't resist herself and caressed his hairs lightly and started getting up, when Angad held her hand and bought it to his lips…….Thanks….He whispered, when Kripa looked at him shyly………Slowly he left her hand and closed his eyes once more and was asleep soon…….Kripa stared at him for couple of minutes and when she knew that he really was asleep walked to the other side of the bed and sat there reading magazine happily………After half hour or so, there was a knock on the door and Kripa panicked,looking at Angad, who was sleeping peacefully………
K: Angad, utho na…….koi aya hai………Angad……..She said shaking him………There was a knock again and Kripa looked around and then found a bathrobe and quickly wore it and went to see who it was……….She opened the door slight ajar and found Kanan standing there………..
Kanan: Kripa, tum taiyar nahi hui abhi……..Jaldi chalo………Niche saab aa jayenge………!!
K: Kanan, tum jao, mein jaldi aa jaungi………
Kanan: Are you sure? I can wait for you, if you want……..she asked unsurely, as she knew Kripa had been nervous about this trip……..She felt bad to have left her alone all this time, knowing she was her only friend here and she might feel lonely…….
K: Thanks Kanan, iski jarorat nahi hai…….tum jao…….mein aa jaungi………
Kanan: Are you sure…..? She asked frowning and Kripa smiled and nodded……Ok…….See you down……..bye…….she said leaving, looking puzzled………
She was about to close the door when Mishti stopped her………..
M: Hey Kripa, Angad ka kamra ye tumhare baju wala hi hai na? 303? She asked frowning…..Did you see Angad? Kanan who heard Mishti, stopped in tracks to listen to Kripa's answer and then smiled and walked away, after she heard that Angad was next to her and may be that is the reason, Kripa some how looked relaxed…….
K: Nahi to…….mujhe lagta hai niche gaya hoga……….She said biting her tongue……..
M: Ok……..bye……She said frowning a little muttering a curse and blaming Prithvi for not seeing where the rooms were and just giving away the keys to everyone………She ran down angrily……….Kripa sighed and closed the door and went inside, where Angad started laughing, looking at her worried face……….Kripa frowned at him…….
K: Tumhe hansi aa rahi hai? She asked angrily…….Angad chuckled and nodded getting up and stretching a little, before he got down the bed with a big smile……….Kripa made faces and took her purse and other things and started going out, when Angad held her hand……….Kripa caught her breathe and slowly turned around……….
A: He slowly kept his hands on her cheeks and bought his lips close to hers and kissed her thoroughly…………..Kripa shyly looked down and took initiative and hugged him closing her eyes………..She did not know what this feeling was and only thing she knew was that Angad was her husband and she liked to be with him……..It had been a long time, they were alone this way together…..….Angad smiled and slowly kissed her neck and ears and hugged her tightly……….Kripa, I think we should go down………He whispered after a while……..Kripa shyly nodded and started leaving, when Angad held her……..She looked at him and he smiled and slowly took a tissue from the table and wiped her lips lightly, while Kripa blushed and took the tissue from him and ran to the bathroom……..She came out checking herself after a minute or so and smiled at Angad shyly, who opened the door for her and indicated her to go………Thankfully, no one was there in the loby and Kripa nodded at him, saying so with her eyes and they went down silently……….
Everyone was already there and sighed when they saw Kripa and Angad……….
Mishti immediately went to Angad and circled her arms around his arm……….
M: Kahan reh gaye the Angad……..Mein kab se dhund rahi thi tumhe………
A: Apne room mein hi to tha, so raha tha……Baad mein phone par tumhare missed call dekhe to uth gaya……..He said smiling, but couldn't help himself and looked at Kripa once, who blushed………She looked at him and then at Mishti and their hands and turned around, not liking Mishti holding him, when it was her right…….!! But she sighed and walked with Prithvi, who asked her, if he could be her escort…….Kripa nodded reluctantly feeling akward, looking at Angad once, who blinked asking her to go with the flow……..
They went to a Mexican restaurant and Josh and Prithvi helped Kripa choose what she wanted, while others ordered themselves…….Angad kept quite looking at them, when Josh blinked at him, indicating him, that he should relax and he will be with Kripa….….Kripa was sitting next to Josh, who was talking about going for grand canyan helicopter ride next day………..
M: Hey why don't we go for the rides…….I heard there are thrilling rides around here…….
Ka: Try……Stratosphere……That one is good……..!!
The other person in the group too suggested couple of other places and they maped out their plan and were on their way………They went around Casinos and tried their luck, losing few hundred dollars instead…….Kripa just saw from behind, declining to play, while everyone else tried their luck……She was with them smiling a little at their excitement, but feeling uncomfortable looking at the surroundings and people……..She did not like the place much, and wished to go get some fresh air, but was fearful to go alone……….She sticked with them so and silently waited for them all……..Though she was not left alone and was constantly pulled over by Kanan, Josh, Prithvi or Angad, still it felt like she was in some odd place…….
Then they all went out and roamed around the city at night and that is when Kripa relaxed a little, and was amazed looking at the beautiful lighted city……….They had Chinese for their dinner and at last exhausted returned to their rooms by around 11 at night………Angad wanted to go to Kripa and talk to her, but knew she would be tired, so instead slept in his room with a sigh………She had looked lovely today in her black Jeans and yellow T-Shirt………He thought with a grin, before he fell asleep…….
Back to Kripa, she was too tired, to even change and within few seconds she was down for the night……..She had never travelled much and even when she went for the vacation, it was just family fun and in one particular area………..Even Dilip did not like too much sight seeing, as he said that it just tired you more, than relaxing, which is what vacation is all about……..So, this was her first day, on which she had walked so much in her entire life and she was really tired……Though she was afraid to stay alone, she knew Angad was just a phone call away and would be here in a second if she needed anything………She was a little disappointed as well, that Angad did not come in the room with her, but then blushed at her thoughts and hid herself in pillow and fell asleep soon………
Next day they started with their helicopter tour, which she was almost too nervous about and closed her eyes all through her flight, her fingers almost white as she held them in tight fist..………Angad let her talk to other people in the group, wanting her to mix up, but kept a close eye on her, from distance and sat in the back seat with some of other friends, while Prithvi took a seat besides her and grinned, looking at her……..He then took her hand in his and Kripa opened her eyes a little surprised and taken aback……..
P: Kripa, relax ok…….He said with a grin, looking at her frightened face and Kripa just nodded awkwardly……She tried to pull her hands back, but he held on to her……..You will be more relaxed, if you hold on to some one………He said with mischief and Kripa looked down, not knowing what to say…….But, then said she was ok and took her hands out in a minute or two, not liking the way Prithvi hovered over her………She almost felt uncomfortable and wished Angad was with her……….
They reached there within 45 minutes, and Kripa nervously opened her seat belt……Somehow, she did not like the way Prithvi stared at her some times or hovered over her, trying to get close…….They walked out and looked around and Kripa was just blown away with beautiful views………She forgot all about Prithvi and smiled looking around………Mishti once again went to Angad and was telling him something and talking to him, when Kripa turned around a little sadly and went with others……..She knew it wasn't Angad's fault that Mishti was clinging to him, just as Prithvi kept coming to her, but still she couldn't help herself feeling sad that their lies were keeping them apart…...She knew that she was the one who decided to keep it this way this time, but she had someother things in mind, which made her take that decision……..But looking at what was going on, she was confused a little about her own decision, just like Angad.……..She again felt as if they weren't doing good by keeping their maritial status and decided to talk to Angad about it and see what he thought……..
Angad in midst of everything slowly came to her and stood next to her and raised his eyebrows……Kripa just smiled and shook her head and looked ahead…….Angad leaned over slowly………
A: Jealous……? He whispered and Kripa looked at him angrily……..Angad chuckled and raised his hands, while Kripa made faces and went to the other side……Angad again followed her and stood by her and she frowned……….
K: Tum mere piche kyun aa rahe ho? She asked slowly looking around to see if some one was seeing them……..
A: Are wah, apni biwi ke piche nahi jaunga, to kiske piche jaunga…….? He whishpered with a grin…….
K: Badi jaldi yaad aa gayi biwi ki……..? Tab kahan the, jab tumhari biwi ko helicopter mein daar lag raha tha, aur uske pati ki jagah koi aur uska hath pakad kar baitha tha? She asked a little annoyingly, but then suddenly bit her toungue for blurting out what was in her mind……….Angad looked at her surprised, at the way she was annoyed and showed her right on him………But it made him equally happy, that she did…….But he frowned and looked at her and Kripa looked away……..He tried to hide his smile, but at last couldn't and looked at her amusingly……..
A: Kisne ye gustaki karni ki koshish ki Mrs. Khanna……..? He asked with a grin, knowing she was angry…….Ok baba…….sorry…….dekho kaan pakad kar maffi mangta hun……..He said making faces and holding his ears.……..
K: Angad kya kar rahe ho, koi dekh lega…...she said looking around to see if any one was watching a little tensed...
Angad chuckled...Any way...kaisa laga Grand Canyon aur Las Vegas...
K: Acha hai...she said smiling...
A: I know...tum kya soch rahi ho...
K: kya? She asked confused...
A: yahi ki kash iss waqt hum saab ke sath na hote aur akele ate...! He said grinning...Kripa frowned at him...And when she saw him smiling with mischief, she knew he was just teasing her...
K: hmmm...may be...she said smiling at him sweetly and then walked away rolling her eyes, playing along leaving Angad open mouthed with shock...Kripa had never openly expressed her thoughts, or ever teased in her life……..And he was totally surprised seeing her new side today, may be the way in which he had showed her who he was, entering her room boldly yesterday, made her feel that she had right on him, and he was loving this new side of her…….Yeah, she always called him when needed, talked to him when she felt lonely, but she still kept a lot to herself, neither did she openly tease him this way.…….He grinned and shook his head grinning at himself for the happiness he felt today…….
Mishti who was looking at them from distance walked to him as soon as kripa walked away...
M: Angad kya hua? She asked with a frown, seeing him smiling...Angad came out of his thoughts and looked at Mishti, not knowing what she just asked...Hey kya hua? Hass kyun rahe ho…….She asked smiling…….
A: kuch nahi...he said grinning…….Kuch baat yaad aa gayi……….He said laughing once more and walked off...Mishti looked at him confused, but then shrugged and ran behind him...
They went near the sky walk area and grinned walking on it...Kripa followed the group and then looked down in horror and stepped back, looking at Angad worriedly...Angad unaware went forward and stood in the middle and grinned looking around...This wasn't the first time he came...But still it felt wonderful to stand there and look down the deep valley below the feet...Then his gaze fell on Kripa who was shaking her head looking down frightened and Prithvi and Josh were talking to her...

A: che saal ki thi, tab se...she is quite, par mere mama papa ki favourite hai...bahot dant khate the hum jab shararat karte the aur papa kehte the ki Kripa se kuch sikho...he said chuckling...
M: Didn't you get jelous, I mean your parents loving some other kid more and all...
A: na...she became one of us...I mean she was very silent kid and never throwed tantrums and gave away something we wanted right away, never arguing or asking it back...
M: quite unusual, don't you think...Angad shrugged...
A: May be she hates violence or arguing unnecessarily...And you know me, I take up argument many times…….
M: common Angad...aisa koi nahi hota...may be she is some type of pshyco...Uss din bhi party mein chup chap wahan baithi thi, jab saab awaj laga rahe the usse……More over, she knew that we were there and still she did not let us know about her presence……..Did you see yesterday, she just stood back and kept looking at us as we played and enjoyed together…...kal ek bhi game mein participate nahi kiya usne...that is just so wierd man...she said rolling her eyes...
A: Leave her alone Mishti...It's her choice……..After all everyone is not the same…….And then you don't know her or her life before that…….You know what she has gone through……So, just leave it…….Ok..…..Angad said a little angrily and walked to Kripa, leaving Mishti……..Mishti just rolled her eyes and talked to the person besides her, knowing it was no use talking to him, as she could see that he regarded Kripa as a family...Josh and Prithvi were walking in, giving up on Kripa...They just shrugged at him on the way and Angad said he will get her...Josh smiled and nodded walking off, while Prithvi commented saying he did not think she will come, as even they tried their best……..Angad just said he would try once and see and went off……..He saw Kripa watching at the valley silently from the side…...When Angad kept a hand on her shoulder...Kripa turned and looked at him and smiled……Their eyes captured eachothers attention totally and they just stood there for a while...Slowly, Angad gave her his hand without talking and she looked at him surprised, but kept her hand in his without a word, hypnotized by his eyes, unaware of their surroundings...He pulled her with him towards the sky walk and Kripa frowned suddenly stopping in tracks…...Coming back from the dream world………
K: nahi Angad...mujhe bahot daar lagta hai unchaiyon se...She said backing off, but Angad did not leave her hand and looked at her straight in her eyes……….
A: Kripa do you trust me? He asked and Kripa starred at him for a full minute and then slowly nodded, seeing him looking at her with waiting for her reply…….To chalo…….I promise, mein tumhare sath hun……..Tumhe mein kuch nahi hone dunga……..He said squeezing her hand and Kripa smiled a little nervously and slowly walked with him…….She hesitated to put her leg on the glass and when Angad squeezed her hand in encouragement, chalo Kripa, mujh par bharosa rakho……….He said gently looking in her eyes, asking her to trust him and she slowly walked on it closing her eyes……..Her hands tightened on his and Angad smiled and kept a hand on her shoulder bringing her closer to him, happy that she trusted him so much……That moment he did not care, who saw them, or what they thought about them……He looked at Kripa and smiled…….Ankhen kholo Kripa……This is truly amazing to look……….Just think that these are pictures and look down and see the beauty………Don't think about anything else……….Just think you are seeing some photos……..You will be fine…………I promise……….He said holding her shoulder tightly and bringing her closer…….Kripa slowly opened her eyes and looked at Angad, trying to avoid looking down, and when he encouraged her taking few steps forward, she nervously looked down and just stood there rooted……..A little fearfully as well as a little with amazement………Told you, you will be amazed……….Chalo……..He said slowly taking her forward, while Kripa held on to his hand even more tightly, nervous as well as feeling a little giddy and he grinned and took her all the way, where everyone was waiting looking at them with a grin, except Mishti, who just starred at them both with suspicious eyes………
Kanan: My God Angad, how did you do this……..? Hey Kripa…..good going girl…….See, its just amazing don't you think…….She asked grinning……Kripa smiled nervously and tightened her hold on Angad, unknowingly………
J: Really Angad, kya kaha tumne isse, ki tumhare sath yun chali ayi……….Let us in the secret too man……He said grinning at him with mischief and Kripa blushed looking away shyly, knowing what every one was thinking.……..
N: It is called trust Josh……….Trust can do wonders……..Nishant said, his eyes missing nothing……..Josh looked at Nishant and smiled nodding, letting him in the secret with his eyes and Nishant just smiled, not saying anything more………Josh knew that Nishant somehow knew that Kripa and Angad were closer than they let them know……..It was not Josh's place to tell him about Angad and Kripa though, and Nishant like a gentle man, did not do so and Josh was thankful for it………He sighed smiling at Kripa and Angad, they were both wonderful and very much in love, he thought smiling………Hopefully he would find his love some day too, who would trust him as much as Kripa trusted Angad…….
P: Whatever………At least Kripa is here finally………Prithvi said grinning, not caring much, still feeling something was there in between them………..Or may be he tried to set it aside not wanting anyone else to see that he was bothered by their closeness ………Kripa smiled at him a little awkwardly, somehow sensing his state of mind………She moved a little away and then tried to divert herself and looked around at the valley, though she never let go off Angad's hand………Angad was enjoying each moment of it and smiled at Kripa with appreciation………Mishti walked to them with a hesitant smile and praised Kripa, for the sake of Angad…….But her eyes kept going towards Angad and Kripa's joined hands…… He looked at Mishti with a smile and she just smiled a little awkwardly and shrugged ..….Angad tried to behave normally telling everyone about Kripa as a child and diverted everyone, making them sure that they were friends indeed……….Mishti too relaxed and wasn't much bothered about them after a while, thinking Kripa was afraid to let go due to height and talked happily..…..Back to Angad, he was happy and proud of Kripa, that she let go of her fear and so completely trusted him and walked with him…….They didn't talk anything in front of everyone, but words weren't necessary for now.. ….. Josh and other memebers of their group clicked lots of photos and then slowly they walked back down on the ground…….Kripa was still holding on to Angad unknowingly and Angad looked at her with eyebrows up……..Kripa blushed and started removing her hands, when she understood, but Angad held her hands in his……..
A: Chup chap sath chalo……..Can't let anyone else hold my wife's hand, when she will get nervous in the helicopter……..right…….!! He said with a grin………Josh looked at Angad with a grin and pulled both Prithvi and Mishti back with him, on the pretext of getting some drinks, letting Angad Kripa go forward…..…Kripa unaware, went along blushing and walked with him and they soon sat in the waiting cars and drove off with two other people who were ready to go and then boarded in the helicopter waiting for them before everyone…….Mishti found them sitting at the back and started going back, when Josh pulled her near, asking if he could have a opportunity to sit besides a beautiful girl for the ride and Mishti was over the top to get so undivided attention from him……..Josh looked back at Angad with a grin, who thanked him with his eyes and grinned looking at Kripa……Prithvi was disappointed to see Angad and Kripa together, but smiled and sat with one of the other friends..……..Angad and Kripa sat in the back and Angad held Kripa's hand all the way back to Las Vegas, while Kripa forgot all her nervousness…….But her heart was pounding at the lightning speed, as Angad's fingers caressed her skin lightly…….Angad smiled at her affectionately as they got down and left eachothers hand and mixed up with their friends individually…….
They got down by afternoon and directly went to the restaurant and had their lunch…..Angad and Kripa were sitting opposite to eachother, their eyes constantly met over their plates, during lunch…….Kripa shyly finished her plate and then walked to the restroom and quickly freshened up……..
She was back by the time, everyone got up and were ready to go and they went to enjoy few rides……..
Kripa looked at the rides with horror and plainly refused to go on any of them……
P: No problem guys, you all go on and enjoy………mein to kafi baar aa chukka hun yahan…….I will take Kripa to some place she might like……….He said with a grin, to get this opportunity to spend sometime with her and Kripa looked uncertainly at Angad…….He frowned at her reaction and asked with his eyes, if there was a problem…….kripa looked uncertainly at Prithvi and then at Angad and shook her head lightly, not able to say it……..Angad understood and started saying something, when Mishti pulled him inside…………
M: Common Angad, Yaad hai, hum essel world mein kitni masti karte the……This is more fun than that……..She said with a grin and pulled him in, before Angad had a say in it………But Josh had seen their communication and somehow knew that Kripa was not much comfortable with Prithvi and he knew the reason…….He could see Prithvi trying desperately to be with Kripa since yesterday and Kripa could feel his eagerness………
J: Prithvi, tum jao, mera saar bahot dard ho raha hai, woh helicopter ride ke baad, so I don't want to sit on those rides and make it worst……….I and Kripa will go for a walk and come back in couple of hours and then we can go some place else……….
Prithvi looked unsurely at him, but Josh pushed him in and asked him to go and Kripa sighed in relief……….
J: Chale Miss. Kripa……….Josh said with a grin and showed her the way out and Kripa looked at him with suspicion………
K: Josh, you don't have a headache…….She said slowly and Josh smiled……
J: And you did not want to go with Prithvi…….!! He said grinning and Kripa looked down embarrased………
K: Sorry…….woh I mean Prithvi………
J: You don't have to explain Kripa……..Mein samajh gaya……..Chale……
K: Josh, sach mein, tum jao, enjoy karo………I will be fine on my own……..Mein yahin baithungi……..Bas thodi der ki to baat hai……..
J: Getting rid of me Miss. Sharma……? He asked and Kripa's cheek turned red……….Just joking dear………Chalo aab……..tumhe Venice ki sair karata hun……..You are not afraid of boats are you……..? He asked suspiciously and Kripa shook her head with a smile…….Thank God, nahi to mera tumhe gondola ride par le jane ka sapna sapna hi reh jata…….He said chuckling………Waise tumhe bata dun, wahan couples jyada ate hain……….making Kripa blush……..But friends will do too…….He said laughing……….Kripa chuckled and walked with him……..They took a bus and reached the hotel venetian………Kripa was fascinated and looked around in awe………Do you like it……..?
K: It's beautiful Josh……she said looking around with a smile……She blushed a little sitting in the Gondola ride with Josh, feeling a little uncomfortable, but they had taken a big boat and he was sitting on the opposite side, grinning and putting her at ease with his jokes……….She relaxed after a while….…They took a leisure hours ride and then sat in the gondola enjoying the ride in peace………..Kripa wished she had a camera, and as soon as she thought about it, Josh took out his small camera and clicked few photos of her………
J: I will send it to your email id for you……….He said with a smile and Kripa nodded shyly……..After the ride, they stopped in a coffee shop and had some coffee and cake and then walked around the shopping mall and Kripa did some shopping……..She took a small gift for Josh too and gave it to him there it self……….Mere liye?
Kripa nodded……..Just as a thank you gift, for bringing me to such beautiful place……….
J: It was all my pleasure………He said with a grin……….But thanks for this…….He said taking the gift………Kripa's phone started ringing and she looked at it and saw Angad's name displayed…….
A: Kripa, kahan ho tum log?
Kripa looked around a little confused and then at Josh……….Hum kahan hai?
J: Kehna Palazzo shopping center mein aa jaye……...
Kripa told him the same and Angad asked if she was alright……..
K: Haan Angad, hum intajar kar rahe hain tumhara……She said with a smile……..
A: Ok……milte hain wahan…….He said sighing and keeping the phone…….
Angad and others came in half hour and Angad was relieved to see her………..He was worried about her and wanted to spend time with her, instead had to go with Mishti against his wish………..He went to her and looked at the things she was looking at and grinned……..
A: Nice choice………Le lo, itna kyun soch rahi ho……..
K: Na baba……..price dekhi hai……..It is just waste of money………Mein to aise hi dekh rahi thi…… Angad rolled his eyes as she went to another shop when Kanan pulled her along……..Angad looked back at the beautiful Scarf Kripa was looking and went to the cashier and paid for it and had it packed………He grinned and kept it along with other purchases and went to where Kripa and Kanan were looking something…..…They roamed around shopping for a little bit, taking couple of things and then went to the restaurant and had their dinner…….They roamed outside for some more time, when atlast Angad saw that Kripa was fully tired……….
A: Guys I am going to the room……….Anyone want to come……….He asked looking at everyone and then at Kripa nodding at her……….
M: Common Angad……….Las vegas aye hain aur night life nahi dekhna? How about we go to some night club and dance the night away……….She asked grinning…….
A: No Mishti I am tired……..You all continue……….We have tomorrow night as well………I will join you guys tomorrow……..He said with a smile………Mishti reluctantly agreed and Kripa looked at Angad……….
K: Angad, mein bhi ati hun tumhare sath, mein bhi thak gayi hun……….She said slowly and said bye to Kanan and others………Mishti looked at them with a frown and was about to say something, when Josh kept a hand on her shoulder……….
J: Common Mishti darling, tumhe Las Vegas ka real night life dikhate hain……….I assume, you have never been here before……….and he talked to her diverting her to himself, while Kripa and Angad sighed in relief and looked at eachother and chuckled…….Angad grinned and kept a hand on her shoulder, bringing her close, as they saw everyone else disappear in the crowd and they walked to their hotel silently……..
They reached their rooms and Kripa shyly looked at Angad, not knowing if he wanted to come in………
A: Tum jao, mein mera bag lekar aata hun……..I don't want to stay alone in my room……..He said making faces and ran to his room, with Kripa's card………He was back with his bag and entered the room with a grin……..Kripa was already in the bathroom taking bath……….She came out in 10 minutes feeling a lot better, all ready for bed, looking totally exhausted………..
She blushed seeing Angad there……….
A: Jao, so jao……….Thak gayi ho na……..He said smiling and kissing her forehead……..Kripa smiled and went to her bed and after drinking some water slipped in covers with a sigh……..She was soon fast asleep while Angad came out in towel and looked at her innocent face and smiled……….He quickly got dressed and climbed besides Kripa and slipped in the covers and pulled her in his arms……..He remembered their first night as well as the night before they shifted to their own campus……..He was tempted many of the times to take her in his arms, but had resisted it, but he couldn't today…….There would be nothing wrong in sleeping together and cuddling a little, he thought with a grin……..He kissed her forehead, cheeks, nose and lips lightly without waking her up, while she mumbled his name in her sleep and kept her head on his chest and fell asleep again…….He kept staring at her for a long time, restless, debating with himself whether he should go to his room, but then slowly fell asleep due to exhaustion……..
It was almost 9 by the time Angad's eyes opened……..But Kripa was still asleep, facing the other side………He smiled happily, loving to get up besides her this way and got up with a grin……..He quickly freshened up and was ready and even ordered their breakfast……….Kripa woke up, when he was calling for room service and looked at him surprised……….
K: Angad, kahin jana hai kya abhi?
A: Yes maam……….chalo jaldi naha lo…….Phir chalte hain……….Thoda ghum ate hain……..Just you and me…….I am bored to go with all the others and behave like friends…….Today I want to take my wife out……..Kripa blushed and went to the bathroom without a word……..She quickly freshened up, excited to spend some time with him and sat down for breakfast……….Kal tum aur Josh kahan gaye the? He asked wondering………..
Kripa's cheek turned red………but she told him about their gondola ride and Angad made faces……….
A: I wish I was with you yesterday, but anyway………I think we can plan our honeymoon later on in real venice instead……..!! He said with a grin……..Kripa blushed and looked down……….Not able to look at him………Waise Kripa, tum Prithvi ke sath kyun nahi jana chahti………? He asked suddenly stopping and frowning a little, remembering her reluctance yesterday……..Kripa stopped her breakfast and looked at Angad a little uncomfortably……..
K: Kuch nahi Angad, bas woh humesha paas ane ka bahana dhundta hai…….I mean, ofcourse, usse ye pata nahi hai ki meri shadi, I mean humari shadi..…….Angad stopped her mid-sentence suddenly getting her meaning…….
Angad frowned……..Did he misbehave with you Kripa……..Kya usne koi badtamesi ki tumhare sath kabhi………Kripa looked at him a little shocked suddenly and shook her head apprehensively and Angad relaxed his fist……….
A: Kripa remember one thing……..No one can touch you or make you feel anything, unless you want them to……..If you are not comfortable about something with someone, just say it and be clear about where they stand…….You are too quite for your own good and even think about what the other people think, even the one who is trying to mis-behave with you, before you think about your self………You don't have to tolerate anything, which you don't like……..Just tell them and be done with it……..Don't show your weakness to anyone Kripa……Apne aap ko strong karne ki koshish karo………If you stay quite, the front person would take it for granted and do it again……..So, be careful…….Kripa stayed quite looking down…….
They both ate their breakfast and kept the trolley out and then took their belongings and started going out……..But Angad stopped her and pulled her to him, wanting to taste her once………He himself knew how difficult it was for him to be with her and not able to do anything about his urges………He was just on the verge, to let go off his promise and make her his……….Kripa looked at him shyly, but slowly initiated a kiss herself, making Angad even more happy and they kissed till they were both breathless……….Kripa shyly kept her head on his chest, as he hugged her and kept his head on hers sighing with pleasure………Chalo chalte hain……..He whispered in her ears and Kripa shyly opened the door, but Angad stopped her once again and looked at him……..Angad chuckled and gave her a tissue and Kripa shyly took it and ran to the bathroom to check her self……..They later walked out happily and thanked God that no one was there..………
They went around the city to botanical gardens as well as fine arts gallery, later had some lunch and then went to few other places and came back till evening, enjoying eachothers company thoroughly.……….Josh had called them in the morning to ask where they are and Angad had just said that his dad's friend lived near by and he and Kripa were going to meet him and would be back till evening and join them then…………He winked at Kripa mischievously, while Kripa blushed and walked with him…
K: Angad tumse kuch baat karni thi……..She said a little hesitatingly, when they were finally back to their room….
A: Haan kaho Kripa…..He said drinking his coffee and looking at Kripa…….
K: Angad aise saab se humari shadi ke bare mein chipana…….I mean acha nahi lag raha hai……..Jhoot par jhoot……..She said slowly looking down……….Angad sighed and kept his glass down and stared out………
A: I know Kripa……..Tum thik keh rahi ho……..I think it will be better if we tell them the truth soon……..I promise, bas thode dinon ki baat hai…….We will tell the truth to them……..
K: Par Angad abhi kyun nahi………I mean………
A: I know what you mean Kripa, and I agree……….But trust me, sahi samay ate hi, hum bata denge………ok……..I promise………He said slowly and Kripa nodded with a smile……….
Later, Angad called Josh, to ask where they all were and notted down the address and told Kripa to freshen up and they will leave in 10 minutes……..Soon they were on their way to the restaurant………..
Mishti was a little upset about Angad and Kripa's closeness, but she tried to enjoy herself as much as she could………As soon as she saw them coming through the door, a little far from eachother as well as in their own thoughts, she smiled and went to Angad taking her chance……….
M: Angad, we have planned to go to the bar and dance and have fun………I hope you are ready…….She asked with a grin and Angad stopped in his tracks and looked at Kripa, who stopped as well but did not look at them……..Angad sighed and looked down, thinking about what they had talked about before coming here……..May be she was right, and they need to clear this and tell at least their close friends, to avoid complications in future…….He thought sighing.……..
Others greeted Angad and Kripa and told them about their plans of the evening and they all had wonderful time at the dinner………
Later they all went to the bar and ordered there drinks and looked at the club dancers dancing on the stage……..Soon the volume increased and the couples were invited on the floor to dance and Mishti was the first to stand and gave her hand to Angad with a grin……..Angad couldn't refuse in front of so many person, and he even couldn't stop himself as his favourate salsa song dances were being played…….He smiled at Mishti and hit the dance floor and so did Nishant and Kanan and others……..Even Josh was in, with a girl who asked him and pulled him on the dance floor………
P: Common Kripa………It's easy……..just follow my lead and you will be good…….Kripa declined him, saying she really did not want to join and asked him to go and enjoy and at last Prithvi left her side and went off……..Kripa looked at Angad and Mishti, who were laughing and absolutely enjoying dancing with eachother………She cringed at the extravaganza club and the people enjoying themselves laughing and dancing in midst of the loud music, lights……She slowly skipped from the club, hopping to get some clean air, as it felt suffocated in there in the smell of cigarrate and drinks………She walked silently outside a little fearfully, in midst of strangers, but still it felt much better in here than in that club………..She thought trying to console herself………She did not know how long she was out, but she was atleast safe, she thought with relief……Somehow she knew that it wasn't safe this way to walk alone at nights, this way……….
P: Hey Kripa……Tumhe pehle hi kehne wala tha……..You are looking wonderful…….He said with a grin…….kripa looked at him a little uncertainly and smiled a little and started walking…….Are ruko na…..He said touching her arm and Kripa swallowed hard and tried to wriggle out of his arms…….
They were slowly left much behind the others and Kripa looked at the crowd fearfully………No one else from their group were close…….
P: Hey Kripa…….Vow, yahan kya kar rahi ho akeli……..Kripa for a moment was relieved to see him, knowing if he was out, others might be behind him as well, but her relief was short lived when she saw that he was alone and no one was behind him………Further, he was heavely drunk and had ciggarate smell on his mouth….…You missed one good party yaar……He was saying………
K: Prithvi baki saab……….But Prithvi wasn't listening and he continued……..
P: But anyway, acha hai, tum yahin mil gayi……….Let's go somewhere else……..I am tired of running around the group……I wanted to spend some time with you…..…Kal hi ana chahta tha tumhare sath, par uss Josh ke bache ne sara program chopat kar diya………He said trying to balance himself on Kripa……..Kripa stilled as he leaned on to her……….She knew he was drunk and she was frightened……..She had never been near a drunk person before and all she saw in TV was almost horrible……..She looked at him suddenly fearful…….
K: Nahi Prithvi…….chalo andar chalte hain……..saab saab pareshan ho rahe honge……….She said trying to take his hands off her shoulder………
P: No way Kripa……..Kal to wapas ja rahe hain……..I want to spend this night with you…..…Phir tum kab milogi aise……He said suddenly smiling dreamily at her, holding on to her tightly, and Kripa shivered….Aaj yahan mausam bhi acha hai aur tum bhi sath ho to chalo na……….I like your company……you know……..You are a very sweet girl……Ma se kahunga aur tumse shadi karunga…….He said smiling and Kripa stopped in her tracks, totally stunned now……She was too shocked to say a word……….Kya hua, tum ruk kyun gayi………Abhi thodi na ma se keh sakta hun………badmein Kripa……..abhi to enjoy karna hai……..He said smiling and trying to hug her……..Kripa shivered a little when his hands moved up to her shoulder and she was almost on the verge of tears and was about to push him back…… when a hand came and removed Prithvi's hand from Kripa's………Kripa stopped and looked at Angad who was looking at Prithvi angrily………Mishti was besides him as well and frowned looking at Prithvi…….
Back to Angad, after few dances, Angad excussed himself from Mishti and looked around for Kripa, and when he did not find her, started looking around after a while, when she wasn't back, worriedly looking at his watch in horror, cursing himself for leaving her alone for so long……It was almost a hour or so, since they came here and walked on the dance floor.……. Dance was his weakness and he just couldn't resist it and Mishti was a wonderful dancer in it…….It wasn't as if he liked her company……..Any one would have been good enough for him, if they were good dancers…….!! He wished Kripa would learn dancing and they dance on few songs he enjoyed most……..!! He looked around worriedly and kept looking for her for sometime, when suddenly, he had found Prithvi, leaning on to her, and talking in drunken state………Suddenly, he was furious and ran towards him with full flurry……Suddnely, when he kept a hand on his shoulder, Prithvi looked at him and rolled his eyes……….Kripa looked at Angad with tears of relief, as one tear slipped from her eye……….She was so thankful to see him………She saw Mishti running to them with a frown as well and stopping in spot, looking at Angad's angry face and tears in Kripa's eyes………Prithvi's hands were still on Kripa's shoulder and some how she knew Prithvi had done something…….
A: Mishti, tum Prithvi ko lekar jao uske room par, bahot pi chukka hai………And see that he stays away from trouble, because next time I see him misbehaving, he is going to pay for it………. he said angrily and authoritatively, suddenly pulling Prithvi away from Kripa and holding him by his arm firmly……..Mishti looked at Kripa's fearful face and tears and then at Angad's angry face and slowly nodded at Angad, a little guiltily and took Prithvi by arm with her……They were gone in seconds, while Prithvi kept talking about how unfair this was, that he couldn't even spend some time with Kripa…….They did not hear anything further, but Kripa looked away a little embarrassed, suddenly feeling overwhelmed, as tears kept rolling down her eyes.…..Angad kept a hand on Kripa's shoulder……chalo…….He said angrily and walked without talking to her……..They instead of going behind the group, walked to the opposite side and reached their hotel soon and Angad just took Kripa to her room, not caring if anyone was seeing or not……..
As soon as the door closed behind them, Angad left her side and walked in angrily and sat on the bed looking down……..His hands held in tight fist……….
A: Damit Kripa…….kaha tha na meine……Why do you keep quite…….? What would you do, if I wouldn't have stopped and looked for you? You can't even defend one person Kripa……..Aise khamosh rehkar kya hasil hoga……..Inn ansuon se kya milega…….? He shouted angrily……Aur agar khud mein itna dum nahi hai, to bahar kyun nikli club se……….You would have come to me and said that you wanted to go out…….!…..You are just unbelievable……….You could have just made him sit somewhere or asked him to move away or asked him to keep his hands to himself and told him that you did not like it……..!! But no…….!! You just kept staring at him with shock and tears in your eyes……..!! He said shaking his head and taking out his shoes…….He walked awayto the bathroom and quickly took shower, not looking at Kripa even once before going…….When he was back, he just went into covers and turned other side and closed his eyes angrily……..Kripa just stood there with tears and looked at Angad's back for a long time shivering a little remembering the incidence and Prithvi's words, then slowly took her clothes and walked in the bathroom……..She took shower and shivered remembering everything again and again, trembling a little with fear all the time………She slowly got dressed taking her time and brushed her hairs and after drinking some water, she slipped in covers, looking the other side…….Tears still coming down her eyes……..!!
They just slept there without saying a word to eachother for a long time, when Angad heard Kripa sniffing………He sighed closing his eyes……..He slowly turned and looked at her back and shook his head……….He kept a hand on her arm and she stilled as he pulled her around………Kripa slowly turned to him……….Her face wet with tears……….Angad as always couldn't resist himself and pulled her close and hugged her tightly keeping her head on his chest……..Kripa sobbed silently hugging him……..Angad caressed her hairs and kissed her forehead, consoling her and asking her to stop crying……..
Kripa wasn't crying due to Prithvi though………She had come across few people in Mumbai too in the busses she travelled, who would just hit on purpose or fall on her or some thing like it……She never confessed about it to anyone, but she had her moments and she had tackled them………But Prithvi was a college mate, Angad's best friends brother, and somehow, she felt that the drinks he was taking were the reason, he was talking rubbish……But then, when he talked about marriage, she was shocked and knew that it wasn't just the drinks, but Prithvi was way ahead with his thoughts………She wanted to avoid the scene or do something, which would even embarrass Angad………That was the reason she had kept quite, tolerating Prithvi………But she would definetly handle the situation, if need would have arised, but Angad had come at that point and she had no time to react or do anything……..But Angad thought that she was weak and was angry on her……….That surely made her sad…...Yeah she was frightened, and if need be, she would have done everything in her power, to avoid Prithvi's adavances, but she knew that she needed to see if she could handle the situation properly………She felt lonely here, after leading a sheltered life all through her life……..May be too much sheltered, if she accepted the truth………And it was scary outside in the world, still she was trying to overcome her fears…….First in her parents care and then with his parents……….She was always loved and lead a sheltered life, where she was cared for more than necessary, thinking she was fragile……..Even after her parents death, Avantika and Dilip always had kept tight eye on her, as they were concerned that she might feel lonely or not loved or doesn't feel like she was a member of their family……..But the truth was just the opposite…..The truth was their constant pampers as well as asking if she needed anything else and to be free with them, made her aware that she had just lost her parents and was living with them and they felt oblized to do what they did………And that became a habit, even when she acknowledged that they truly loved her and accepted her as one of them……….And here she felt all alone, first time in her life…….Her life was school, college and home……….She was too shy and never attended any parties or went out with anyone other than with her or Angad's parents………And no one encouraged her to go participate and try to free as well……..So, this was the new world for her and she felt a little out of place………
At last finally she was asleep………Angad stayed awake for a long time a little concerned about her……….He did not know, how to take her out of shell……..This was the thing due to which he wanted her to live independently……….He had many a times seen her at home too and she was too dependent for her own good and she could not even express her thoughts or wishes openly……….Mishti's mocking voice, where she taunted Kripa made him angry………..He did not want to hear anything against Kripa as she was his family……….But then he knew that she would not be alone to talk, if Kripa was so dependent and never mixed with anyone……….He knew he had to take some strict measures now and make her independent and strong to defend for her self, instead of depending on him all the time……..He wouldn't mind being with her and would protect her when he was with her with his life, but he couldn't be with her every hour and he wanted Kripa to experience life and have fun as well…….This was the reason, he was not even trying to go forward with their relationship…….It was very easy to enter in a relationship and live together and let her depend on him……….But that was not what he wanted…………He wanted her to be as free and independent as most girls live………..He knew Kripa needed encouragement as well as her own will power, to do it on her own and come out of her shell……Be fearless and tackle the world…...….He sighed and gathered her close and fell asleep thinking about it all…….
Next day they got up around 8 at the same time and Kripa found her self still in Angad's arms………..She blushed a little, when she felt his gaze on her……….She remembered yesterday's events and sobered a little and slowly started getting up, when Angad held her firmly……...Kripa looked at him and he smiled and pulled her on him and kissed her lips and hugged her to him, taking a deep breathe……..It was becoming difficult for him day after day, to stay away……….But when he thought about yesterday, he slowly released her………..He was determined to help her over come her fears and see that Kripa wasn't the same person, as she was now, by the time they went back home…….
A: Chalo, hume dus baje tak nikalna hai wapas………He said kissing her forehead………Jaldi taiyar ho jao aur packing kar lena……….He said smiling and leaving her…….Kripa smiled and got up and quickly got ready……….Angad too freshened up and they picked their bags and went down by 10 where everyone was waiting for them for breakfast………No one other than Mishti and Angad knew about last night……..Mishti looked at them both and then at Prithvi, who was silent and a little embarrassed………He knew he had a lot of drink yesterday and had misbehaved with Kripa………Mishti had told him so in the morning………Every one greeted them and quickly ordered their breakfast………..Kripa and Prithvi were the only one silently eating food, while the others kept talking until at last they were all done…….Finally they loaded their bags and were on their way back……Unlike last time, no one talked on their way back……..They all were in their own thoughts..……They had lunch in between and then finally reached back to San Diego till evening………. They stopped at the gas station before entering the city and Angad got down to fill gas and Kripa looked nervously at her hands………She could feel their eyes on her and suddenly, she got down and closed the door…
K: Mein abhi ati hun Angad………she said going towards the shop………Angad frowned a little and then went behind Kripa after he was done, who was looking through some magazines…..
A: Kripa, kuch lena hai? He asked and she shook her head smiling and they walked back silently…...He suddenly realized that she might not want to sit in the car alone without him, as Prithvi and Mishti were behind..……Angad parked the car in her campus and then got up to take her bag out……..He smiled at her and gave her the bag……...Next Saturday milte hain……..He said slowly with encouraging smile and Kripa nodded……Room par jakar phone karunga…….He said slowly and Kripa nodded….…She waved at him and then at Mishti with a small smile, who guiltily smiled at her waving as well and then Kripa turned around and walked to her room……..
Angad sighed and started the car and drove off, once he saw lights in her room…….He dropped Mishti and Prithvi and said bye to Mishti and thanked her for inviting him and drove off, saying he would call her sometime……..But he never said a word to Prithvi, who kept his head down, knowing he was the one who was wrong……….He had been the one to plan all this with Mishti's help and he had mis-behaved with Kripa……….!
Angad reached his room, talked to Kripa and got assurance that she was ok and at last he saw the things settling down once again……….Days went by and Kripa kept her distance with Prithvi and even Prithvi did not go to her or try to talk……….And Kripa was more than happy with that………After about a week or so, Prithvi just couldn't take it anymore and went to Kripa and apolized to her………..After a little convincing, Kripa awkwardly told him that it was ok and asked him to forget it and concentrate on his classes…….He just nodded with a grateful nod and walked off………
