Writer Note

A Dark Love

Her brain was still frozen and her eyes lids were filled with tears, Her heart was still tripping recalling his words 'his eyes that were filled with so much grief'she gasped ,her heart thumped so hard that she feared it might burst from her chest if she would recall those deep-dark grief filled eyes. She finally gets all her courage placed her hand on the door knob.

Mayank heard the sound of the door and he knew who was entered in the room, the thought of her teary 'streaked face, her puffy eyes, her heart wrenching sobs clutched his heart and he sucked in breath giving oxygen to his lungs 'I can't see her like this'His heart thuds at the thought of facing her after whatever had happened few hours ago. He gulps of air several times before closing his eyes to pretend he'd been sleeping.

A shiver inched down Nupur's spine before she stepped inside the room and sucking in a deep breath she closed the door behind her and then turning around gave a brief glance to the room to catch his glimpse and when finally her eyes fell on him she felt she froze for a moment, lying on the couch, his half cheek was buried in the pillow. Pain lanced her heart and her body stiffens as her eyes fixed on his face though his eyes were closed but the lines of grief still visible under the shadows of his lashes although he'd been wrapped the mask of roughness around his face but still she could see that what he was hiding. Wasn't it surprised her why could she was seeing what other couldn't? She swallowed the words at this question that had risen in her mind and didn't know why her feet moved towards his side, taking slow steps she walked towards him, unknown to the emotions that had been engulfed her heart and she couldn't have shrugged them away'she took another step before leaning on him.

How much he was looking tired'tired of hiding grief, pain behind the mask of this face'he isn't a stone-hearted person she know---she can see---he has a heart like the others but he pretends to others he isn't like others'he is made of hard stone'he gave pain to her so she would hate him'But why? Why can't she hate him despite many reasons that she has to hate him?he forced her to accept his proposal'he locked her in the walls of this house'he separated her from her parents but still she is feeling his pain'she sees the innocent Mayank behind this roughness'why can't she stay away from him? Why can't she hate him? Why her heart wants to get close to him?why his mere touch effect her? Why his pain affects him despite knowing the truth he is taking revenge from his father'he hates her but why she can't hate him?why?

Sudden hot tears smarted behind her eyelids, and she pressed a fist to her chest to try and keep down the emotion that was threatening to rip through her.

His breath caught in his throat when he felt wetness on his cheek'he could feel her close to him'he could feel her scent, could hear her heart beat'though his eyes were closed but he knew she was crying'another drop of her tears fell on his cheek and he felt himself stiffen, a great urge to open his eyes and pull her towards him and then crushed her into him engulfed his heart'he wished to wrap her in his arms---he wished to wipe those tears'wished to slip his arms around her waist and leaning down kiss her eyes removing the every line of pain from her face but he gasped'turning back these desires in his heart and tightly closed his eyes pretending he was in deep sleep.

A sob erupted her lips and she remembered the way he holds her and then pulling her in his arms met with her lips'she had felt strange content'strange relief in her heart'How she wished to be like this forever. She let her heart to do that he was wishing as she moved her hand and then slightly touched his cheek-she felt him slightly shuddered and she took off her hand quickly at the thought of disturbing his sleep but when he didn't move she again landed her fingers on his face, caressing his cheek, moving her fingers into his hair and then with the great urge her face leaned down at him and shrugging away the warnings her mind was giving her she placed her lips over his forehead and kissed him still caressing his cheek with her fingers, trying to remove the grief from his face.

Mayank heart thuds and he felt out of breath for a moment as he inhaled her scent so closely and then her lips touched his skin, a rush of blood ran into his veins, all the desires, all the emotions that he was trying to bury in his heart seemed to rise again'Did she just kiss him? Had she just touched him so softly'so lovingly or it was his dream? A thought across his mind'But he still could feel her scent'her presence it meant it was real'it wasn't a dream. He shook with emotions, and restrained his urge to open his eyes and pull her to hug'he knew he couldn't do that'he couldn't.

Nupur pulled the comforter and spread it over his body covering it and then carefully without disturbing his sleep adjusted the pillow under his head, she let out the gasp of relief to see his close eyes'he must be in deep sleep she thought and revealed, restricting back the urge to again lean over him and kiss him she stepped back carefully walking towards the bed and switched off the lights.

Mayank opened his eyes slightly as he heard the sound of pressing button, the room had been filled with the darkness but he could see her sinking down on the bed and then without making a noise she had lied on the bed resting her head on pillow though the darkness wasn't allowing him to see her view clearly but still he could see her eyes was on him'She was looking at him.

With the havoc of strange emotions he closed his eyes letting his tears to flow.

She let out the gasp of pain recalling his grief-filled face and then his confession about her father-----revenge'but the thought that was making her restless was how much he had gone through?.

She closed her eyes letting out the sob.
