PAST CONTINUES

No one could have guessed that the two almost strangers will be binded in a pure sacred relation of ,arriage , an institution where you are devoted to your love…life and to the person who will be now responsible for every big and small things of your life….

The moment maan heard that geet's wedding is fixed first he was not able to believe and immediately gathered all the information about kunal…he didn't want all the mess to be created on the wedding day but his source delayed giving him information…..but it was not that late he was able to stop the marriage…

But the decision to came forward and marry her was so quick that maan didn't even know himself how did it happen….

Now the destiny has tied maan and geet tying their souls with each other….their families were quite delighted with whole fuss that has pleasently changed childhooh friendship bond into a relation….

After the seven rounds maan filled her parting with vermillion tying the golden pendant black beads chain around her neck marking geet as his….

They came forward and took blessing from the elders….geet's tears and cries were subdued seeing the immense happiness on the faces of her mother and father…but a sudden fear crept in her heart….

MAAN…..how will he behave..his reaction..she didn't didn't even know why he married her..was it the family's pressure….????

She was in her own thoughts when the bidaai time came…now she will have to leave her family where she was brought up …. Her mother without whom she can't do anything…her brother..she knew her veerji loves her but was not able to show….he was the only one who sent her to study in mumbai making the family agree for her education…but what would be her future now ….. will maan also dominate her or she will be able to live her life with a little freedom….will there be also rules like she had in her paternal house….

She was not crying …. But a look on herparents made her cry out loud geet was sobbing hugging her ma….somewhere she was scared of the new relations and didn't want to leave …. But she have to leave go…last time she heard her maa saying before going to her husband's paradise.….

Both of them reached khurana mansion….vani and daadima welcomed the newly married couple…geet's head was bowed down…she touched the rice pot with her right feet and both of them entered the mansion….she dipped her feet in the red water making her imprint in the house ….well it is believed that a Daughter in law is a shadow of goddess laxmi that's what this red water implies…there were not many relatives from khurana's due to a sudden decision so only family members were there… after doing all the rituals vani took geet to maan's room..it was decorated with red roses and orchids…geet was feeling uneasy seeing this….

Vani also know that may be geet will take some time to accept their relation…..so she tried to know her mind…make her comfortable in the surrounding….

Vani: geet I know dear what has occurred has left you in a new relation….but believe me you need not to change yourself….just be like yourself…like you were there…… and don't hesitate to share anything with me ….. your mother is always here for you….saying so vani left …………..

Geet was sitting like every new bride sitting with her face covered in the veil… somewhere she has made up her mind to do what her husband would want…try to match with his expection…..she knew that from today she will be his in every sense….

Maan entered the room and saw his room changed with all decoration making the atmosphere romantic….

Maan looked towards geet ….he knew that now geet is his responsibility and first he needs to talk to her..make her easy with the new surroundings…

He walked towards her ….. and sat next to her.

.her breath became heavy with his sudden proximity…. She expected him to claim his right like all the husband's do after their marriage but she was shocked with what maan did….

Maan deeply understood her from the moments they spent in mumbai…he knew her inner fear some inbitions…the insecurities….

The gently lifted her veil and was first time lost in her angelic innocent beauty…geet was really looking like a fresh flower but there were some unwanted dew drops…which were her tears that were threatening to fall from her soft eyes….

He pulled himself slightly away from her and came infront of her….

Maan: geet….

He called her to look at him but she was staring at her feet…. He very delicately lifted her chin to make her look at him….

Geet looked into his dark brown eyes …first time she can see his inner self so pure so clear …deep like a ocean..she can even drown her into him….

Maan: geet aren't you feeling heavy in these clothes….

Geet stared him with confused look…

Maan: I mean aren't you tired of these marriage rituals…. And you probably hadn't eaten anything …. You know that doctor said you to continue your medicines for two weeks….go and change into something comfortable…..he went to the closet and gave her a sky blue night suit that his mother had probably arranged for her….

Geet didn't asked nor questioned just did what he said…

Even maan changed …he came with milk and her meds..for the first time….geet refused…he looked at her frowning face….

Geet: please I am fine…

But his one angry glare was enough for her to do what he wants…

Maan settled on bed with her …. She was sitting holding the pillow In her hand…. Maan holded her hand..and continued there conversation….

Maan: geet I know we were not supposed to get married…and that too without any planning…

All the time she was just looking at him …. And spoke for the first time…

Geet: why did you married me…knowing…I am…she was not able to complete….

Maan knew her what she was trying to say….

Maan: why is there anything wrong with you….i can't see anything wrong with you….and just forget that incident and that B*****…… concentrate on your life…..i

know accepting me will be difficult….

Geet has tears listening to him….

Geet: why are this good….

Maan: good are you kidding ….you probably didn't knew me ask my friends…well how could you know we were never friends…I just don't know why …why daarji never allowed you ….

Geet: daarji is right…girls should be in their limit….

Maan was getting what kind of life geet is living till now….

Maan: geet you know limits are only for those who are spoilt…. Well you are studying right…so you are old enough to know what is right and wrong for you….

Geet nodded meekly…

Maan: so..my legally wedded life would like to be my friend….

Maan asked in a playful manner that spread a wide smile across her face……

They settled themselves for sleep …..

Next day as per tradition geet prepared a sweet ….. since she knew cooking it wasn't a problem for her …daadima and vaani gave her present…

They were quite comfortable with each other …two months have passed a certain comfort level was achieved with maan….she now does all the wifyy duty…taking care of his needs….

One day maan had left early for work due to an important meeting without even having breakfast…that day geet was restless…she didn't had her breakfast….somewhere she started falling for her husband…...

As a friend they would dine together…went for movies ….maan even introduce her to his friends….she gelled up with them quite comfortably…

Now she didn't get afraid of anything….

In the morning would go for walk with dadaji and dadima sometimes even maan accompany them…..

Geet was getting restless preparing lunch…….

Vani came and saw her lost…

Vani: geet….geet!!! on getting no response…. She touched her shoulder…

Geet looked at her ..

Vani: why my daughter is lost….

Geet: wo…maa…..maan hasn't had anything since morning….she was again lost….

Hearing her…. Vani was happy since her son and DIL were now getting settled in their married life…..

Vani: so ..beta… take lunch for him…

Geet: lunch…she asked amazed…

Vani: yes lunch my dear…now go and get ready….i will pack lunch for you two…

Geet changed and went to KC….she asked receptionist the way and went knocked his cabin…

Maan: come in….. prachi file he forwarded his hand and heared giggling…geet was laughing….first maan was surprised to see her in his cabin..and then her giggling ….he thought to play along….

Maan: ( in a angry tone) geet what are you doing here…..

Geet got scared seeing him and looked down…… maan knew that she would cry any moment…may be geet has changed a lot but still her cry …she can cry at any moment….

He immediately got up and went near her … and lifted her face to look at him……she saw him smirking and pouted and glare at him with her big almond eyes…..

Geet: haw.www….maan you are teasing me….i shouldn't have brought lunch for you…I am going …here is your lunch she was about to go when maan pulled her towards him and lockedher in his arms…

.geet immediately shied….he kissed her cheeks….and both of them had there lunch ……
