Part 63:
Finally it was 11:00pm and Arnav was at the Poolside walking slowly seeing the sky above him.. Khushi was in her Pink Night dress.. She closed the room door from inside and saw him. She came towards him .. And placed her hand on his shoulder.. He knew it was her..
He waved her hand off him..
Arnav: Not now Khushi..Please..
He walked past her and she held his hand and stopped him..
Arnav didnt turn to face her.
. She turned to him and hugged him from behind.. He was so touched when she did that again.. He remembered how she did the same few days back when he was searching something in the closet..
Khushi (In slow tone): Arnav.. I Love you..
Words, Mind and Heart everything was so damm blocked for him tonight after hearing this from her.. She confessed to him that she loved him.. Yes.. This is what he wanted to hear all this long.. He closed his eyes and took a sigh of relief. He didnt turn back nor did she pull back from the Hug..
Khushi: I know I am late in confessing this to you Arnav.. But this is the truth.. I always wanted you to know this but I feared you would reject me since I did the same with you ..I was scared of letting you know Arnav.. I am sorry for troubling you so much all these days.. I am so sorry..
Arnav opened his eyes and then turned behind to see her.. She didnt give him any opportunity to tell her anything after this.. She hugged him tight now and all he could do was hug her back.. They both hugged each other like that for a long time without letting the words talk between them. Their hearts were speaking to each other which was more important.. He picked her in his arms and made her sleep on the bed.. She was surprised when he switched the lights off and moved on his side of the bed to rest without telling her anything.. Wasnt he happy that she confessed..? She pulled his hand and asked him..
Khushi: Arnav.. You not happy that I confessed?
Arnav gave a weak smile to her seeing she was so desperate to know what his reply would be..
Arnav: I am happy KHushi.. I have forgiven you for what you did to me.. So everything is just fine now.. Ok?
Khushi: No its not fine.. How can you just sleep like that after knowing I love you..?
Arnav: So what do you want me to do?
Khsuhi was now tongue tied in his words.. She wanted him to intitate something atleast after knowing this.. But he was so eager to sleep..
Khushi: You mean.. You wont do anything ?
Arnav: Like?
Khushi: Like what I did in morning?
Arnav remmebered how desperate she was to take their relationship to next level today morning.. He just smiled and then placed his fingers on her cheek caressing her..
Arnav: We would.. But then not now.. This doesnt seam to be right anyhow..
Khushi: What do you mean by that?
Arnav sat on the bed and looked at her.
Arnav: Means just you confessing you love me cannot soothe the pain you have already given to me Khushi..
Khushi was so confused.. He wasnt satisfied with her confession?
Arnav: Look Khushi I am not hurting you or your feelings.. Its just that I need some time to feel things right before me.. Whatever happened these years since we got married, I have seen a lot Khushi.. First Mumma fed my ears for not believing in our marriage. And then after all these years you came back. I married you again before the family and made you stay here. It wasnt because I felt you were my wife, but because I was jealous..
Khushi: Jealous? Of whom Arnav?
Arnav: Karan.. I knew he was your first crush, I knew he liked you and I felt somewhere that you like him too. So to keep my wife with me and not allow any other guy near her, I married you and made you stay here. You agreed for one month.. And then in this one month I fell for you Khushi.. Head over heels.. Trust me.. And when I confessed, you said it was all a revenge from your end.. I was shattered.. My life was like back to the days when you were seperated from me..
Khushi could see tears in his eyes.. He was upset.. Truely upset.. She wanted to wipe his tears but he got up from the bed and moved back to the french doors..
Arnav: And then I decided I would win you back.. I would win your love back.. And mumma she supported me in this.. Now you confessed but I am confused Khushi.. I am confused between whats true and what was false.. I have lost the trust I had in mumma that she can never take wrong decisions.. I have lost the trust in my wife that she can actually love me and live with me forever.. I am just lost somewhere in all of this..
Khushi moved from the bed towards him and made him turn to face her.. He was totally lost .. She hugged him back and his tears fell on her shoulders.. She caressed his hair and pressed herself more tight into him..
Khushi: I am sorry Arnav.. I am sorry for everything that happened.. I can understand what you going through.. But its all fine now.. Lets forget this.. Lets forgive Mumma... Lets be together again and this time not to get seperated.. But to be with each other for life long..
Arnav noded and pressed her more.. They both shared this Hug which was so important for them tonight.. They needed each others assurance that they would never part .. Under any circumstances.. They came back to the bed and slept in each others arms, feeling the warmth of the other inside the quilt.. Forgetting every bad event that happened in the past, forgetting their problems, just in each others arms to find some solace..

2 days passed.. Khushi and Arnav were trying to mend everything between them.. Though Arnav was little slow in doing these things, Khushi was a quick learner.. She wanted to mend the gap between the two forever and very soon.. She started fulfilling all her duties as his wife and then as a Bahu of Raizada family.. She knew nothing was impossible for her.. She could do it. Arnav could see things changing around him.. His Mumma was making sure she spends some ample time with her Bahu just to understand her more.. She also made sure she told Khushi of Arnav's every like and dislike.. She wanted their relation to be as a true Couple .. She knew they still had not consummated their marriage only because Arnav was little disturbed still and she told Khushi to make sure she doesnt force him or try to seduce him to make him do all that.. He needed time and she should be giving him that.. It would be very soon that he would realize and then that would help them take their marriage to the next level.

Arnav came back home and saw Karan sitting in their living room and talking to Khsuhi.. She was sitting opposite to him and talking.. Tea was already served to Karan and he was surely enjoying the tea with Khushi's talks.. Arnav never liked Karan from the beginning but he knew he need not feel jealous since he knew Khushi loved him and not Karan.. He moved to Khushi and sat beside her..
Khushi: Hey.. You came early today..!!
Arnav: I missed you.. So..
Arnav kissed Khushi's forehead before Karan and they both were shocked.. Arnav never kissed her since she confessed and today he did.. This was surely because he was still somewhere jealous seeing Karan and Khushi together again..
Karan: Arnav actually I am here for saying Good Bye to Khushi and you all.. I am leaving for Mumbai tomorrow.. Have got some business work.. So.
Arnav was surely happy hearing this..
Arnav: Ohh Thats sad.. I mean we hardly got time to catch up with you somewhere out..
Khushi: Its Ok Arnav.. May be next time when Karan comes here.. Right Karan?
KAran: Yeah.. But then how about tonight? I mean Dinner together.. May be a Farewell treat from my end?
Arnav readily agreed . Khushi didnt like him agreeing so soon.. What was it in his mind.. He surely was thinking something.. She just smiled and agreed since she couldnt deny Arnav now..

Khushi was ready for the party.. And Arnav was still in the room.. The Dinner party was only between the three and no one else..Khsuhi wore a simple Sleeveless chudidaar..
She was down with Asha as Arnav was still getting ready..
Asha: But Khushi.. You know he doesnt like Karan..
Khushi: I know Mumma.. But he himself promised for this dinner tonight..
Asha: Something is really cooking in his mind.. Just try to be calm and handle the matter.. Ok? Even if he starts being all jealous.. Show him that he matters you more than Karan or anyone else..
Khushi: Mumma.. Do you think I still need to learn this? I will take care.. Dont worry..
Asha smiled and then they saw Arnav getting down in his casual blue jeans and blue shirt.. He looked so hot in that dress.. His hair were nit gelled and she was seeing him like this for the first time..
Asha: Someone is looking Hot today.. Right Khushi..
Khushi: I remmembered one dilogue from my friend Mumma.."Kaatil hai meri Jaan.. Kaatil"
She and Asha started laughing and Arnav smirked trying to hide his smile..
Arnav: Shall we? (He said gesturing Khushi to move..)
She bid bye to Asha and they walked outside .. Karan was supposed to be waiting for them in the Restaurant..
