Thanks for the terrfic update, NM, much looked forward to!
I loved the way you described the mind and psyche of NK, what a sweet, decent guy he is. The last two chapters we got to know Khushi and ASR and this one we get to know the real NK.

I never imagined that whatever he'd suggested to her would involve her putting aside the trauma she'd just been through and pretend as if nothing had happened. To have suggested what he did shows how deeply he understands both Khushi and ASR. And his incredible generosity. It would have been so easy for him to make things worse between ASR and Khushi. He is a true friend.

Serves ASR right, this must put him into total panic and shock - finding that the strings he thought he held do not even seem to exist!! He'll have to realise love is not enough justification to bind someone. I can only feel sorry for him and unfortunately laugh at his plight and predicament.

That was an awesome update.

NK is such a nice and genuine person.Loved the way you described his internal struggles.

'Into every life some rain must fall'.So meaningful and so reflecting all of their lives.

Finally coming to Arnav,i pity him i really do.He wants to chain her down to himself.He wants to hold her in that golden cage of his love.But he doesn't realize how ever precious the cage might be no one would like to be chained down or oppressed for ever.Every soul would want to break free.This is where he is at fault.

He shoudnt hold her back any more or he would lose her for ever.Just let her be free Arnav,Let her get out of your Hitler regime,let her be herself.For your sake i hope you do that

First and foremost, a thousand thank you's Napster! I am going to take up your advice and re-read...it's one of those rare pieces of fiction that I feel I want to re-read.

As for Chapter 41...Ha! Finally...a truly moment for Arnav. To feel so insignificant and unwanted. I somehow don't see him festering in Shantivan for long though. It was NK though who stole this chapter...I feel like wailing "why? oh! why? oh! why?" for him. 😭

Yours is one of the few updates that I look forward to Napster. Simply because you've captured my imagination with them. Perfection... I don't know what to say to you that hasn't been said already and when I'm not writing, I'm a person of very few words - but I'll try. Thank you for the update. I've always believed that NK was a person of shades rather than a one dimensional character who plays everybody's fool. It's brilliant how you've managed to do just that in your story - bring out his emotions. I love A&K. Your Arnav's the quintessential Bronte-esque hero: Dark, brooding, and a thick sliver (Oxymoron, yes) of darkness in him. However, this update belongs to NK because he is simply him :) Great update luv.
