Dadima, Rano and Mohinder were happy to see the love and respect that Maaneet hold for each other but they were still in their teasing mood

Mohinder: Agar itna hi bharosa hai apne rishte par toh batayi ke aap ek dusre ke kya lagte hai hume bhi toh pata chale ke aapka kya rishta hai? [If u have so much faith in your love then tell us what relationship do u both share?]

Maan and Geet hold each other's hand and look directly into each other's eyes

Maaneet:

Palko ke jharoko se dil ke gehrayi tak

Muskurahato ki suneheri dhoop se kashmakash ke andere saaye tak

Phoolo ki sej se kaatho ki raah tak

Har lamhe mein har mauke pe tumhi ko humne saaraya

Kya naam de iss rishte ko? Kya misaal de isski sacchayi ki?

Bus itna kahenge iss zindagi mein hi nahi aane wali har zindagi mein aap hi hai humare jeewan ka sabse khoobsurat aur paak humnawa

Dadima: Aap ki baate sunne mein behet achhi lag rahi hai par saza toh aapko milkar rahegi [ Your words sound good but there is a punishment decided for both of u]

Dadima gave an angry glare in one direction; she was looking at the entangled hands of Maaneet and started approaching them

Maaneet continued to hold their hands securely

Dadima was about to place her hand on their entangled hands when Maan moved back a little

Maan: Dadima duniya chahe idhar se udhar ho jaaye Geet ka haath Maan kabhi nahi chodega sirf iss janam mein nahi aanewale har janam mein humare haath yuhi bandhe rahenge koi bhi hume juda nahi kar saktha [Dadima even if the world undergoes a dramatic change Maan will never leave Geet's hand and this is a promise for of a lifetime no one can separate us]

Dadima's anger reached another level; she pulled their hands and placed them in front of her eyes

Dadima: Aap dono ko jobhi kehna tha wo aap logo ne keh diya ab faisla sunnane ki baari humari hai aur hum bhi dekhthe hai ke aap humare faisle ko kaise nahi maante. Mohinder, Rano yaha aaiye [Whatever you'll wanted to speak u have made it clear but now it is time for our judgement and let me make it clear I will ensure that both of u will agree to my orders.Mohinder and Rano pls come here]

The expressions on the face of the elders were giving wrong signals to Maaneet

Dadima: Rano yaad haina Panditjine kya kaha tha? [Rano I hope u remember what Panditji had mentioned]

Rano: Ji Dadima aakir unki kahi baat sach saabit ho hi gayi [Yes Dadima at last all his predictions turned out to be true]

Maaneet became tensed with their statements

Mohinder: Bahut pauche hue Pandit hai wo Ranoji unki kahi koi bhi baat jhooth nahi ho sakthi ab toh hume hi kuch faisla lena hoga aakirkaar humare bachho ke zindagi ka sawal hai [He is a great priest Ranoji and till date none of his predictions have turned wrong now we have to take a decision as it is the question of our child's life]

Dadima: Faisla toh ho chukka hai Mohinder ab bus uska ailan karne ki deri hai chaliye abhi issi waqt hum inke jude hue haatho ka faisla kar dethe hai [The decision has already been taken Mohinder now its time to announce it common let us declare the faith of these 2 entangled hands]

Dadima tightened her grip on their hands and signaled the other two to take the next step

Maan placed his other hand on Geet's waist making it clear that their bond was eternal and no Priest could write their destiny

With a brave and confident face Maaneet were waiting for the elder's decision

Mohinder and Rano placed their hands beneath their joint hands thus creating a protective shield of blessing for them

Maaneet were expecting something else and hence they were plesently surprised to see their hands cocooned lovingly in their elder's warmth

Dadima: Humara faisla ye hai ke aapdono janjanmantar ke rishte mein jald hi bannd jaaye kyunki Panditji ke mutabit aap dono ki takdeer alag nahi balki ek hi hai [We want both of u to get into the eternal bond of marriage as Panditji also feels that ur destiny is united]

Mohinder and Rano start smiling

Rano: Humne toh aap dono ki shadi ki taarek mukamal kar di hai aur yahi khushi bhari khabar hum aapko batane aa rahe the par yaha aakar aap dono ne hum sabko hi surprise kar diya [We were going to surprise you'll by letting u know the date of your marriage but both of u gave us an unexpected surprise on our arrival]

Geet blushed and covered her face in Maan's chest

Mohinder: Geet ne toh sharm se apna chehra dhak liya jamairaja ab aap kya karoge? [Geet hid her face with the viel of blush now what will u do son-in-law?]

Maan: Papaji aap toh meri taang mat khiche [Papa pls don't embarrass me]

Dadima: Embarrassment toh hume hui thi Maan jab hum aapke kamre mein dhakil hue the khair isski saza aapko zarur milegi [we were embarrassed Maan on entering ur room and u deserve a strict punishment for making us face this situation]

Maan made a puppy dog face

Dadima: Geet bete yaha aaiye [Geet pls come here child]

Geet stood besides Dadima

Dadima took her hand and placed the keys of Khurana Mansion on her palm

Geet: Dadima ye toh'[Dadima this']

Dadima: Inn par sirf humari bahu ka haq hai aur jo sindoor Maan ne akele mein aapki maang mein sajaya hai ussi ke naate aaj se aap humari badi bahu hui aur jab humare bahu ke hothe hue ye zimedari hum kyun utaye? [The sindoor that Maan has decorated in your maang personally gives to the right to be the owner of these keys and why should I take this responsibility on my shoulders when my daughter-in-law is present in front of my eyes?]

Geet had tears of happiness in her eyes. She touched Dadima's feet and took her blessings

Dadima hugged Geet and kissed her forhead

Dadima: Ab bus kuch hi din ka intezaar aur phir puri duniya ke saamne aapki maang humare nalayak Maan apne pyar ke rango se sajanege [Now just few more more days to go and my stupid Maan will decorate ur maang with the colors of his love in front of the whole world]

Maan: Waise Dadima aapne bataya nahi ke shadi ki kaunsi date fix hui hai? [Dadima u didn't mention the date of our marriage]

Geet covered her face with her hand as the elders burst out laughing seeing Maan's excitement

Maan: Wo main toh issliye puch raha tha k dulhe ko pata toh chale ke uski shadi kab hai aur mere koi intensions nahi the [I was asking coz the groom shd be aware when his marriage is taking place that's the only reason]

Dadima held Maan's ear and twisted it playfully

Dadima: Aap ka maksad humse chupa nahi hai Maan jab bhi dekho humari beti ko chedte rehte hai issliye aapki saza ye hai ke 2 din tak aap Geet se milna toh dur unke saamne bhi nahi aa sakte aur agar aapne Geet se milne ki zara sib hi koshish kit oh hum aapki shadi postpone kar denge; ye 2 din hum humari Geet ke saath shopping ko jaayenge aap khud ka intezaam khud hi kar lijiye [I am very well aware of ur intentions Maan u r always in a mood to tease my darling daughter. U won't meet nor see the face of Geet for 2 days this is ur punishment and if u try to break this rule then I promise I will postpone the marriage. These 2 days me and Geet would go out for shopping u can do whatever u wish to do accept meeting Geet]

Maan opened his mouth giving rise to a big O

Mohinder: Lagta hai jawayiraja ko 2 din ki sharth manzoor nahi hai Dadima hum shadi ki date postpone kar dete hai [It seems son-in-law is not ready to accept the 2 days rule it will be good if we postpone the marriage]

Maan takes out his mobile and calls his secretary Pinky immediately

Maan: Pinky abhi iis waqt mere Mumbai ke tickets katwau Mr. Agrawal ke saath meeting karne main khud jaaunga pure 2 din ke liye [Pinky book tickets to Mumbai for 2 days I am going to attend the meeting with Mr. Agrawal]

Maan emphasized on the word 2 forcing Geet to let out a chuckle

Maan did not wait for Pinky's reply and cancelled the call

Maan: Shadi ki date postpone karne ki koi zarurat nahi aap yahi chahte haina ke main apni Geet se 2 din tak na milu waisa hi hoga par shadi ki date mein koi changes mat kijiyega haan agar ho sake toh usse prepone zarur karwa dijiyega [Pls don't postpone the marriage date I will not meet Geet for 2 days but don't make any changes in our wedding date although I don't mind the date getting preponed]

Dadima: Hath badmash [Naughty boy]

Dadima and all elders raised their hand to attack Maan

Maan ran from there before he could get some beatings from the elders

The elders started laughing

Maan stood besides the door and called Geet's name

He gave her a flying kiss and announced

Maan: I love u Geet. Will miss u sweetheart muahh

He winked and went away from there after giving a second flying kiss to his lady love

Geet hugged Dadima as she was rendered speechless with Maan's antics

Mohinder: Ab toh Dadima Panditji se kehkar date prepone karwa hi lete hai kyun Geet kya khayal hai? [Dadima I think we need to tell Panditji to prepone the marriage date right Geet?]

Geet rushed to her room as shyness took over her complete self

She closed the door of her room and tried to get back her pacing heartbeats to normal when a message flashed on her mobile that gave a new definition to her happiness

The message read

"I love u Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Khurana"

Geet blushed and placed the mobile close to her heart as today the new chapter of her life had started'a life where two heart beats will find their soul by getting united in the divine bond of marriage
