First Love... True Love?

There she was sitting on the centre of the bed. Dressed up just like i had imagined her to be on our marriage day since i fell in love wid her. Well, when was that? Seems like i have been in love wid her like from and forever.
Hmm she looked even more stunning than my wildest imagination.. in her attire as a bride, sorry MY BRIDE! I slowly made my way towards her and lfted her veil and... I was in love with her all over again, not just cz of her physical beauty but the innocence and purity that her face possesed.
I just kept mum and continued staring at her as i went back to how we had first met and had not even in our wildest dreams had thought that we would get married someday!
It was the first day of senior high school..our 11th grade. I was continuing ma studies in the same school since almost 6 years before wcich i was settled in london with ma parents.
Last year was a little mess for me as the girl who i first was attracted to did not reciprocate the feelings and loved someone else.. Though i was broken..(afterall first love) but never showed anyone how low i was feeling. Though some of my friends continued their education in the same school, a vast majority had moved to different ones.
Atlast came the first day of our senior year.. it was announced that our first day would be an introduction to each other! HELL.. I dont want to do this..especially not now,infront of the girl who i first fell for! I know its dum,nothing to worry but.. alas im a very self conscious person. Every1 gave their introduction, there were some very impressive newcomers this year.. Then came the chance of her... Taani, ma first attraction and crush..but soon after that came a very sweet voice and i realized that the whole room had suddenly gone quiet..(not only me) from their continuous banter. Yes it was HER, she was the attention graber even though she herself never realized it. It was not only her voice that grabbed attention but also the way she spoke, she had a thick british accent, even when she spoke her almost proper hindi. All were stunned to see her and also listen to her speak,it sounded really adorable rather than funny!
AND her appearance was nothing like out of the world beautiful, but still there was something, maybe her features combined with her innocent expressions which was enough to make majority of the guys present there admire her!
But dont know why, somewhere i felt she is going to be an attitude queen.. especially looking at the fact that there are hardly 15 girls in our arts stream.. and now itself many of the boys are alread lattoo over her! Well thats ma wierd opinion. Kria Ghai.. that was what she told her name was. Hmm quiet unique!
Ohh wait.. what the hell..i just gave ma introduction and came back to my seat..and its now that i realized i had completely forgotten about her..taani.. Even when i gave ma intro! Just great what was i doinh thinking about that NRI female..well what was her name.. yea.. kria..kria ghai!hmm.
Soon our classes started.. and krias popularity reached the peek even without her being aware! In every gang atleast one boy has a crush on her or admire her or are else talking about her!
And even among the girls she was an instant hit..oh wait.. did i say she was exact opposite to what i expected her to be! She is very friendly almost wid evry1 who talks to her or ask her help! Though a vast majority find her a sweetheart there were some who were jealous due to her increasing popularity among boys! Even the seniors (12th grade) who had first ragged her was more friendly with her now.. and as for the senior guys..do i need to say..
1 senior guy even asked my help to fix her up with him!.. BUT i dunno what came into me..that i said she is already taken though i have not even talked ONCE with her!
Then one day, all so suddenly we had a free period and the girls were playing truth and dare one moment nad the next moment i saw kria walking towards me. At first i was very conscious, but then put forward my best self . Well, she was dared to ask my name! How lame could a dare get..ughh. But i had no option other than to answer her. Then and there i realized a spark between us..i thin she did too..whe i saw her eyes widen and soon after she turned and left.
Sometime later i realized 1 more thing..here i was somewhat an introvert and there she was a total extrovert..thats what i thot. One day we were playing basketball when suddenly kria came and stood infront of me blocking my path, she wanted the ball..i dont know wot came over the otherwise introvert me..but i ended up booing at her and calling her a 'baatcutter'..duh! I expected her to react but there she stood stunned, and i confirmed that she looked outgoing juz from out but is d complete opposite from inside.
A while later..when i took break from ma bb session and came and sat near the stadium..i saw her sitting right next to me. And the next second i heard a audible 'linecutter' from her and she stood up and left me suprised all over again!
Some days passed and as it happens we became quiet good friends..infact she was ma very first close friend who was a girl! We also exchanged numbers and for some reason i could not get enough of texting her.. was i falling for her??
Enough REY .. what ru thinking?? forgot taani so fast..?!
What will ur friends think about you..when they see u moved on so fast from the girl u claimed to love??!!
From that day..though my bond with kria increased i always amde sure to keep a safe distance from her. And just after a few days..there started rumours about me and kria .. and about kria liking me.etc. I chose to ignore them though somewhere i wondered if they were true..
Next day kria came up to me and cleared everything.. she said she had been telling ppl she likes me just to get rid of unwanted proposals from guys..then she looked into my eyes for almost 5 seconds and then apologised saying that she was sorry to spoil ma image! This girl.. uff! I just nodded, i saw her give me a disappointed look and walk away.. Should i have said otherwise?
Well then things dint stop here..we went on to become almost best frndz!.. But 1 day we started discussing our love lives and so out of curiousity i asked her whether she has ever liked any1.. after a long pause she replied a yes and said that she was in love wid her classmate from her previous school in london but not anymore.
I sighed i relief..god knows why!.. but then when she asked me the same question i kept mum n said no..God i agree i was a coward.. dint have the courage to tell i had liked taani..but why could'nt i??
Somedays later..out of the bluemoon.. kria messaged me.. saying she wanted to say something important. I was all ears to her until she replied..'i think..i..like..you'. Thats it..i was rooted to my spot, i somewhere knew she liked me but never thought she would confess.. that too so early!
I replied..as usual dum me..'ru crious?'.. then what she replied set me confused..'maybe..not sure.. leave it.. okay wait yea maybe i do like you'. ohk..that was it..i quickly typed 'i need some time'..
My answer was already ready..but i felt it would be impolit to answer her on the spot!.. The next day i tried ma best to get her alone..but alas could not. So as soon as i reached home..i texted her asking..'dont want my reply'? to which she said..'go ahead..'
And i replied..'I Love You Baatcutter'.. and after a pause of 2 minutes came hers..'love you too..linecutter'.
The very next moment i told her everything..including ma first crush o love watever u call it..taani..and also that we have to keep our relation a secret for a while so that my friends dont misundersand it.. after a long gap..she told me she understands!
And that was it..from then no looking back..we both were totally in love with eachother..and though our friends found out about our relation as early as within 3 months we still stuck to each other..through thick and thin.. AND here we are finally.. On our marriage night..which is no less than a dream even now..after 8 years of being in relation with each other.
I slowly moved towards her lips with all the love of the world..and sealed hers with mine promising her love ansd support till eternity do us apart.. It was the first time we kissed,coz we both never wanted to cross any limits before marriage... I slowly dimmed the lights in the quest to unravel her and to make her mine forever...
