Ok, I have to admit I hated writing the last part of this update! I know you will hate it too.. but trust me, I had to do this.. to keep the story moving!

Part 32: Love and forgiveness
"Khushiji, so you found Saale Saab?" Shyam said, leaning against the jeep, his arms folded. Khushi pressed herself against Arnav, squeezing her arms tightly around his body and closed her eyes. Arnav caressed her hair and her back; he raised his eyebrows as he realized that she was shivering. "Well, I am glad I could give you a few hours of wild passionate love, but I guess then you got bored of me and went back to Arnav, huh?" Khushi opened her eyes wide and stared at Arnav. Arnav was staring at Shyam, his face fuming with anger. "Saale saab, your wife begged me to make love to her and how can I refuse my Khushiji!" "Arnavji.. I.." Arnav looked at Khushi's tear-filled eyes and asked, through clenched teeth. "Khushi, did he hurt you?" Khushi shook her head. Arnav kissed her forehead, and then his eyes shot wide open. "Khushi, the sleeve.. what happened?" Khushi started saying, "He tried to.." Before she could complete, Arnav moved her aside and started walking towards Shyam. "Arnavji?" Khushi screamed. "Arnavji, don't.. please.." She screamed as she saw goons run out of the jeep and towards Arnav.
Khushi turned around and saw that Anjali was standing in the rain, her eyes wide open looking at Shyam. She ran to Anjali, "Di, get inside the car. Don't get wet! You will fall sick, its not good for your baby!" Anjali was standing frozen; she ignored Khushi's words. Khushi looked back at Shyam and saw Arnav fighting the goons, pushing them aside angrily as he walked towards Shyam. Khushi grabbed Anjali's arms and pushed her into the car and closed the car door. Anjali sat in the passenger seat, still staring into space.
When Khushi looked up, she saw that Arnav had reached Shyam and had punched him in the face. Shyam blocked the punch, and punched Arnav in his face. "Arnavji", Khushi screamed. She watched in horror, as three of the fallen goons, got up from the ground and grabbed Arnav. Shyam smiled as he walked back to the jeep. Arnav's face was fuming with anger. He used all his force to throw the goons to the side. Arnav walked towards Shyam and grabbed his collar and pulled him back. He pushed him against the jeep and punched him repeatedly on the stomach. As the goons ran towards Arnav, sirens were heard in the background. When Arnav had seen Khushi on the road, he had called Akash to let him know that they had found her and Akash had brought the police with him. The goons got up and ran away.
Arnav pushed Shyam on the ground. He stamped on his stomach twice; Shyam yelped in pain. Arnav, his face still fuming with anger, sat down next to Shyam and took his head in his hands. He was hitting Shyam's head on the ground repeatedly when Khushi ran to him. She yelled, "Arnavji, stop, please. You will kill him." Arnav screamed, through clenched teeth, "I should have killed him last time when I had the chance. Then he would never have come back to hurt you. He should die; how dare he touch you! How dare .. " Arnav screamed and then punched Shyam in the face; Shyam spit blood. "Arnavji, stop.. don't .. please.. I don't want to lose you.." Arnav had taken his arm in the air, his hand curled into a fist, ready to punch when he froze. He turned around to look at Khushi; Shyam grabbed his stomach and then became unconscious.
Khushi ran to Arnav and sat down next to him. She put her arms around him and burst into tears. Arnav, his hands and face bleeding, held her tightly. Policemen came running and lifted Shyam off the ground and dragged him to the jeep. Akash and Payal ran towards Arnav and Khushi and stopped as they saw them in a tight embrace. "You will never lose me, Khushi. Never! I will always be by your side, sweetheart. Always!" Arnav kissed her forehead and caressed her hair. Khushi closed her eyes and hugged him tightly.
Akash looked in the rearview mirror and heaved a sigh of relief. Arnav didn't want to drive; he didn't even want to spend a moment away from Khushi. Payal had tears in her eyes as she watched them. Arnav had his arms around Khushi, his head on hers, caressing her and occasionally placing a kiss on her forehead. Khushi kept her head against his chest, and her arms tightly around him. Anjali was still dazed; she was staring into space, straight at the road in front.
Arnav carried Khushi into their room and placed her on the bed. He tried to move away, but she wouldn't take her arms off his neck. Arnav shook his head, kissed her forehead and then slid into bed next to her, resting his head on his elbow. She snuggled close to him and closed her eyes. He caressed her hair and took her hand in his other hand. He kissed her hand; she smiled and opened her eyes.
Knock. knock. Arnav and Khushi looked up to see Anjali at the door. "Chotte, I need to .." Arnav sat up, still holding Khushi's hand. "Not now, Di. I don't want to hear anything." Khushi sat up and said softly, "Arnavji, why are you mad at Di? She didn't do anything.." Arnav turned to her and said through clenched teeth. "Khushi, I want you to take rest. I don't want to hear a word out of you." Anjali walked to the bed; Arnav ignored her. "Chotte, please let me explain. I was being selfish. He is my husband, Chotte. I couldn't see him in jail. But I.. I didn't want Khushiji to get hurt". Khushi's eyes opened wide.
"Bhai, the inspector is here. You wanted to talk to him, right?" Akash stepped into the room. Arnav nodded and turned to Khushi. "I want you to take rest. I will be right back." Khushi smiled and nodded. Arnav walked out of the room, ignoring Anjali. "Chotte.." Anjali called after him.
"Di?" Khushi's voice made Anjali turn around. "Khushiji", Anjali ran to the bed and hugged Khushi and burst into tears. "I'm sorry, Khushiji. I.. I.." She pulled away as she realized that Khushi wasn't hugging her. "Why, Di? Why did you lie to Arnavji now?" Anjali looked at her, her eyes wide. Khushi continued. "You sent me to that place, knowing Shyamji will kidnap me, didn't you?" A tear rolled down Anjali's cheek. "Why, Di? I considered you my sister. And Priya, was that your idea too?" Tears streamed down Anjali's face. "Why Di? What did I do to you? All I wanted was for you to be happy and you.. Di.. how.. how could you.. do.."
Anjali finally found her voice. "Khushiji, I am sorry. I was selfish. I couldn't admit to myself that my husband could do something so cheap. I just wanted to blame someone else. It was easier for me to blame you for everything. I don't know what I was thinking, Khushiji. But now I know. He never loved me". Anjali took Khushi's hands in hers. "Khushiji, I am truly sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I don't know what.. I don't know what I was thinking. I promise you I will never ever try to separate you and Chotte. I .. I am sorry.. I don't know how to tell Chotte, but I have to tell him". Khushi shook her head. "No, Di. Arnavji shouldn't know. He will be heartbroken. It's ok. I understand, Di. You don't need to apologize. But there is someone who we both should apologize to."
"Stay away from her." Khushi and Anjali looked up to see NK barge into the room. "Don't you dare touch Khushiji. Get out of here." NK walked towards the bed and stared at Anjali. "What kind of a person are you? Akash told me that Shyam kidnapped Khushiji. Was it not enough that you made Priya come in between Nannav and Khushiji, now you had to try and hurt Khushiji too? How low can you go? I don't even know who you are anymore. How.." "Nanheji, don't. Stop it!" "No, Khushiji, let me say. I went to find Priya. She doesn't even want to see me. She doesn't want anything to do with this family anymore. She said she will never be able to forgive herself for the pain she caused you and Nannav". Anjali got up from the bed and said, "NK bhai, I am sorry. I am sorry for everything. I don't know why I.." Nk stopped her. "I don't want to hear anything. There is no excuse.." "Nanheji", Khushi said softly. "Di has realized that what she did was wrong. Nanheji, even I have done something wrong. I misunderstood Priya and I .. " She looked at Anjali. "We need to apologize to Priya." "Yes, NK bhai, I will personally go to Priya and apologize to her. I will do anything you want me to, NK bhai." NK looked away and Khushi said.
"Nanheji, please.. for my sake". "Khushiji, this.. this .." he pointed to Anjali, "she tried to hurt you, not once, not twice, so many times and you have forgiven her so easily?" "Nanheji, yes, because she is my Di". Anjali looked at Khushi with tear-filled eyes. "Nanheji, yes, I agree Di tried to hurt me and Arnavji, but imagine how everyone will feel if they get to know this. They will be heartbroken. No, no one has to know this. Di has realized that Shyamji was wrong. She has realized what she did was wrong. That is what is important. Now, please let's forget this ever happened and move on. Please." NK looked at Khushi and then at Anjali. "Nanheji", NK looked at Khushi. There was a smile on her face. "Why don't we all go to Lucknow tomorrow and get you your Priya?" NK looked at her and a smile appeared on his face.

Yes, I know you hated it! Khushi forgave Anjali very easily.. that's what she is like. That is how she would have reacted if this had happened on the show. Anjali will get her punishment though.. later.. like I said, one more twist.. and oh boy, you guys will really hate me then.. 😆
