Part 14
Next whole week, Kripa was missing. She was making trips to the hospital, where as Angad was working on a new book, nobody knew what it was about, it was a surprise to all readers, publishers even to kripa. But somewhere along te line, Angad didn't know why he was writing his new book on THIS topic.
At night
Kripa goes up to Kashish in bed with her eyes moistend. Kripa bent down and kissed her forehead.
K - good night jaan
Ka - gnite mom, thanks for the story 😳
Angad was standing on the door listening to the whole conversation
Kripa tucked Kashish in bed and went to her own room. Kripa walked up to the bed and sat down, putting the pillow in her lap (crossed leged).
Angad came out of the washroom and quickly jumped on the bed and layed down in Kripa's lap.
A - Kripa
K - hmm?
A - tell me a bed time story 😆
K - kon si.. about the frog or the ullu? 😆
A - hamari... remember high school..
K - *getting tears in her eyes*
A - and the time when everyone gave you a surprise welcome back
K - * tears building up*
A - and when we went for dinner
K - *couldn't help but tears fell out of her eyes* at a same time she was playing with angad's hair
A - it was the best day
A - no wait best was when you yelled at me being mad and told me that you were planning a surprise to tell me im going to be a dad but i irretated you enough to blow it out 😆
Kripa started to laugh while crying
K - hahah! i remember I was SO MAD at you 😆
A - but you were surprised when i showed you the room
K - oh yeah! lekin how did you know lol
A - jaan i told you. I love you enough to read every heart beat of joy that is for our relationship and say sorrow that comes our way i will kick it out 😆
K - angad so jao. You have work tomorrow *yawn*
Angad shut his eyes. Kripa was still playing with his hair.
K - mein kese bataoun tumhe? 😭
Next few days started to go on by fast. It was weeks even before anyone knew it. Kripa was starting to get ill, her face and figure was an evidence of that fact. Everytime angad asked her she lied it off someway or another. Where as Kashish was growing up fast yet the ONE and only bed time story made her world.
A month later
Dr - Kripa you have to let him know now, its not much left tto do
K - but i can't tell him
Dr - you have to... there is nothing else to do. There is a very tiny ray of hope and it is hanging on a very weak thread.
K - oh ok 😭... how long to the maximum
Dr - as i told you before a month to the MAX!!... anything can happen this month
K - ohh ok thanks for info I should take my leave now. I'll be back for next week's check up😊
Dr - i don't think we need that but 2 weeks after if...
K - oh ok I'll leave now bye
Kripa came out of the hospital only to find someone standing there with tears falling down to the floor.
