It was beautiful. I ws taught these expressions when learning Bharat Natyam...and it is intriguing how these two do it with Veena.

Yet another trait of their culture, wow!

Thanks for the PM. I read the last 4 updates in a go while listening to live Danish music in Copenhagen. The mood was perfect and from their flour fight to the binding between Arnav and Nalan and finally Arnav at peace, I was hypnotised. I love all the pond scenes. They are magical.

aww reminds me somehow of my nightmarish (for the instructor) kathak classes 😛 so P knows that A is hypnotised by her music...I like that, I don't know why but I do...maybe the fact that she's the one character who really seems to SEE everyone.

What self-respecting Malayalee hasn't dabbled a bit in Bharatanatynam ;) Ah, I kid ;)

I did dabble in Bharatanatyam a long time back, but for a while now, I have just been a patron (spiritual that is, not monetary ;) of the arts... I have a particular fascination with the Navarasas and what they say about the range and evolution of the emotional life of a culture.
