I have to thank you for this comment, everyone wants Khushi to give Arnav a chance and work on their marriage but when it comes to Indira they have different yet strong sentiments. She is labeled weak or strong as they view her. She too wants to give her marriage a chance, knowing what a husband Arjun is. Here everyone assumes Arnav is a great husband, patient and all, yes or no, it is still to be seen. Since they want Khushi and Arnav to be together, his actions in the past are forgiven.

This supports Indira's argument, we choose to do or not do anything based on when and if we want to do it.

Thanks,Kalyaani.

You'll see very soon, Kalyaani that when it comes to ArHi fiction, there is one rule for ArHi and a totally different one for the other characters :) Hell look at how we react to Anjali's broken heart - after all hasn't she suffered the same heart ache in her childhoon that Arnav did...yet Arnav's ruthlessness is forgotten because of his haunting past but Anjali is flogged for her clingy behavior!

Sorry...digressed a bit but that is how it works when it comes to ArHi :)

^^ what you ladies say, holds hundred percent true. Its okay for Arnav to be a heel(dammit! 🤣... NEVER going to get over how cute Sanaya made dammit sound!); but Anjali is expected to be all strong, and bear the weight if the world silently, willing to sacrifice everything for what is right?

Is anyone else reminded of the victorian era? (for people reading, and not knowing- the era was known for a lot of things, including its perception of women as weak, submissive, doe eyed creatures; who were supposed to act strong, and bear pain and loss with a dainty sniff at a handkerchief, and black clothing).

Sometimes people forget that Anjali is too a human. I find so many instances, where Indira reminds me of Anjali in the show. Or maybe its just me.

Love,
V

Ps- butting into conversations, which dont really require my butting in, is just so sexy ;)

I have to agree with you ladies, there is one rule for Arhi and the others don't matter. The point has been well taken and coming to V's comment, whatever the era darling, women are always considered the weaker sex, required to act as propriety demanded and the glass ceiling is there for us only.

Be it the serial or this story, we take it for granted that our ladies are strong, hence can fend for themselves, it is the men who need all the attention and care taking. Anjali or Indira can look beyond themselves and find it easier to move on. Is that not the strong reason most of us write from Khushi's POV, rooting for her. We lust for Arnav but love Khushi, therein lies the difference.

Meera – Darling you are bang on with your comment, have I ever disagreed, unlikely

V – Butt in child, you; I will never refuse and don't abuse my indulgence…actually you are allowed anything

Khushi is waking up from her self mposed exile and noticing her family, husband and wifely duties. So cute.

India is a brilliantly sketched character who is so typical that we all have seen such a person in our circles. They are mature, dignified and hold families together versus someone like Khushi whose perspective and feelings are too volatile and immature.

This story is like fine crystal with you holding up the crystal at different angles and showing where the light strikes.

What a lovely way to look at the story, thanks and I agree with you; we meet women like Indira and Khushi too in our circles.

I almost feel bad for naming my story Raizada & Sons….it should have been Raizada & Daughters….too late to change and the title has a reason so…will leave at that.
