at the end of last chapter I was wondering what was going on in her mind... I mean, for one thing I thought she'd instinctively call her mother...or run back to her...but then when she sat down to write to Rey, that was amazingly done👏...cuz I realized that after what her mother made her do,she's bound to be emotionally disconnected to her mom now...and those letters she writes are her only emotional outlet. Okay I get that. And in her letter she apologized...so she thinks it's her fault. But does it not occur to her that may be it wasn't her fault at all? I mean,for one thing she doesn't even remember what happened!
And abt Shelly... she met him just once...how can she already trust him so much especially after what happened? I mean, a girl could trust a guy her entire life and even then if something like that happened she'd at least be suspicious of him,if not completely distrustful, until she she was sure of what had happened.
I know Kria's strong...but she's not this strong. In the end, I've come to the conclusion that she's in denial of what happened...that she's trying to pretend that she can deal with this. Shock and denial are always the first steps after all. Grief comes later.
so now Kria knows that Rey's here...God,that was brilliantly written! I read it several times, and it hurt every time... Kria finally gets to see him, to hear his voice...woh bhi aise? it's like you're hell-bent on making her (and all of us) suffer!!!
and the end! Who was it? who called Kria...It couldn't be Rey, I'm sure of that...but was he still there when her name was called? Did he hear?
and who was it? Someone she's known from before. Shelly?
And was the beach-guy really Shelly? She dint see his face. I know she thinks it's him, but is it really him?
