Part 7
Khushi stumbled inside their room dazed.Today turned out to be a day full of surprises, new experiences and feelings.Gone was the Raakshas who hurted her with his stinging words and made her cry.In its place was the man she had always dreamed about.Her Rajkumar,'her Arnavji' she thought with a smile.Today she saw the real man beneath the arrogant surface.A man who is fully capable of giving and receiving love.She never knew her Arnavji could be so naughty.She recollected all that has happened the entire day.Their hug in the rain,Gol gappe feeding,the kiss,under the table romance.She couldnt stop blushing.She was never truly angry with Arnav.She only wanted to maintain her distance since she somehow feels responsible for all the unhappiness around her.
As she entered the room to get ready for bed she started sneezing continously and suddenly felt unwell.With unsteady legs she took her night suit out of the closet and went inside the bathroom to change for the night.She suddenly felt all her energy draining and too tired to move.She lay down at her side of the bed and soon fell asleep.
At the dining table,all finished their dinner and went up to their respective rooms to settle in for the night.Except for Arnav and Naniji.
Arnav - "nani di ne khaana kaaya?"
Naniji - "Haan chotte,Anjali bitiya apan kamre main khaana khaliya"
Arnav - "Teek hai naani.Aap aaram karlijiye"
Nani smiled nodding and went up to her room.He stood up to go to his room when he remembered that Khushi dint eat properly because of him.He went to the kitchen.
Hari Prakash was cleaning the kitchen when he saw arnav barging in."Aap ko kuch chahiye arnav babu"
"Nahi,tum jao mein manage karloonga"with that he ignored Hari Prakash and went about preparing a plate for Khushi.
He carried her food to their room and found that Khushi has already fallen asleep.He smiled tenderly at her.She looked like an angel when she's asleep.He went close to her and sat on the bed on her side.He touched her forehead to move her fringes away from face when he realised with a start that her body was ice cold.When he looked closely he saw that Khushi is also shivering.
He realised Khushi is indeed not well.He immeadiately located the AC remote switching off the AC.He took hold of her hands in his and started rubbing it with his hands to rub some warmth to her shivering body.Khushi continued shivering and started mumbling in sleep.He covered her with another blanket and continued rubbing her hands and sometimes her feet.After sometime still her shivering dint stop.He quickly got into the bed next to her covering both of them with the blanket and hugged her closer to him.Hoping to pass on some body heat to make her feel better.Khushi snuggled closer to him feeling better with the warmth provided by his body.They lay like that for sometime,and slowly Khushi started feeling better and opened her eyes to find Arnav directly looking at her with a concerned expression on his face.
"Ar Arrnavvjii??"She blinked up at him not sure of what is happening.
"Shhh Khushi"he said when she would have pulled away from him.He dint let her."Khushi Tum teek ho?"She nodded almost shyly unable to believe she was lying this close to Arnav.Arnav touched her forehead to see if she was running a temperature and thankfully it was normal and her trembling also seemed to have stopped.But still he was not convinced"Khushi utto pehle yeh khaana kao.Meri waje se tum teek se khaana nayi khaaya"He moved away from her and came back with a plate of food.
"Nahi Arnavji humme sach mein bookh nahi hai.Hum teek hai"
Arnav rolled his eyes"Yeah right,Khushi tumne mujhe bathaya kyun nahi ki tumhare thabeth teek nahi?"
Khushi "Wohhh hum.."She looked down suddenly shy.
Arnav smiled and took her chin in his hands making her look up at him."Khushi pls thoda sa khaalo warna tum ache se so nahi paogi aur tumahare thabeth bhi kharaabh hai"
She looked at him and gave him a slow smile.When she was about to take the plate from his hand he stopped her nodding negative."Shh main tumhe kila dhetha hoon"
Khushi immediately denied "Nahi Arnavji hum bilkul teek hain hum kudh khaalenge"
Arnav gave her a look which she very well has come to know as ASR's roop.Arguing with Arnav was one thing but arguing with ASR is a waste of breath.Khushi reluctantly agreed and allowed him to feed her.He smiled and tenderly fed her.His eyes never left hers the entire team he fed her.Khushi was completely lost in those chocolate brown eyes which seemed to radiate with love.Once he fed her each and every bite of the food he placed the now empty food and on the table beside the bed and came back to Khushi holding the water bottle and making her drink it.
Khushi was still lost in Arnav seeing him so caring and loving made her heart beat lurch forward with love for him.
Arnav helped her lay down and covered her with a blanket and was about to move away when Khushi caught his hand.The way she had done at the night Arnav threw shyam out of the house.Arnav smiled and sat next to her holding her hand in both of his.He slowly kissed her forehead with love and moved her fringes away from her face and lightly stroked her hair."Khushi ab tum so jao"She smiled and closed her eyes soon sleep overcoming her.Arnav glanced at his now peacefully sleeping wife and smiled at how angelic she looked when sleeping.He law awake looking down at her entranced.His hands still stroking her hair.
Ok thats about it😊..Not sure how you guys like this update!I know its a short one with not much romance or dialogues😳.But i wanted to bring out the caring side of Arnav in this epi😊...Ok leave your comments and let me know if you wish to receive pm for the updates.
