There were two and a half weeks more to go for Khushi to return home. She was excited and disheartened at the same time.

She had become so attached to Arnav and had eventually developed strong feelings.

She didn't have the courage in her to let him know.

He had not made any apparent moves towards her, probably cause of last time. He was being a perfect gentleman and a supportive friend.

She didn't know if what they had between them would last forever. Would he take it to the next level?

These thoughts saddened her even more. She pushed aside them and got ready for the dinner and movie her and Arnav had planned for tonight.

She put on a casual tshirt and jeans, it wasn't anything formal or a date.

Opening up her jewellery box, she took out a silver bracelet that had different sizes of stars dangling from it.

He had bought it for her a couple of weeks ago when they were at China town. She still had the flower with her.

His small gestures were beginning to collect.

Grabbing her bag and orange flip flops (also given by him), she made her way out.

"Mmm this is so good!" khushi moaned biting into the greasy fried chicken.

Their fingers and lips were glistened with oil and they enjoyed every bit of the fat.

"You really like the bracelet don't you" he asked, pointing his eyebrows at her wrist.

"Mmm I love it" she beamed.

"You know, you need to stop getting me things, its going to spoil me."

"I like giving you things, let it spoil you, it makes me happy."

She stared at his eyes which were filled with sincerity.

Not knowing what to say, she licked off the crumbs from her fingers.

"Don't do that!" Arnav growled snapping her hand away.

"Whaa-" she stopped mid way realizing why he told her to stop.

Blushing she got up and excused herself to the bathroom.

"Arnav walk faster! I don't want to miss the starting" she pulled on his sleeve.

"We miss the starting Khushi, they play trailers for good fifteen minutes" even then he increased his stride.

"I don't want to miss those either"

"Gosh stop crying"

"Ugh"

Five minutes later she was settled in her, a bit too excited for the movie to start.

"Its a movie Khushi, calm down"

"You don't understand, my iron man is in it" she gushed.

"He is a fictional super hero"

"Whatever, he is a sexy hero" she said sighing.

"You're kidding me right" Arnav looked at her in disbelief.

She ignored, rolling her eyes at his insensitiveness.

While her gaze was locked on the screen, Arnav's was locked on her.

With every sigh of hers at the 'iron man', he released one at her.

Leaning towards her, he lazily drew circles on her arm, going down and grasping her hand in his.

Khushi glanced at the hands before her, fingers entwined...as a response, she clasped them tightly together.

"I had been dying to watch the avengers, I am so grateful you took me" khushi thanked him.

"Umm why are you thanking me when you planned to go to the movies and you picked the movie" Arnav mocked confusion.

"Oh be quiet! You made it happen" she gave him a weird look.

Arnav head open the car door as she got out.

"I am glad you had fun tonight" he whispered.

"Me too"

They stared at each other for a minute, her eyes questioning his. She took two steps foward still looking at him and then glancing down.

He did not move a muscle and waited for her to take the initiative.

She put her hands on his chest, slowly gliding up.

"Arnav" she mumbled under her breath.

That was enough for him to get him going. Circling her waist he gently pulled her and captured her lips in a firm yet tender kiss.

She slid her arms around his neck and pressed herself into him.

They didn't even realize when the doors of love opened and took them in.

Cradling his face between her hands, she angled her mouth over his deepening the kiss, feeling the roughness of his cheeks and jaw.

It was pure bliss.

He flicked her lips with his tongue, parting them to enter her warmth.

A low moan escaped her as she bit his lower lip lightly, snapping Arnav out of the trance.

He moved her away breaking the kiss. Khushi did not like the interruption, making a sound of protest and tried get his mouth back on hers.

"N-no Khushi, we gotta stop"

"Huh?" she blinked at him not comprehending what he was saying.

Suddenly disappointed, she wanted to get away but he didn't let her.

Resting his forehead on hers he huskily asked "Will you go out with me?"

Looking down she nodded her head yes and hugged him.

The next few days passed in a blur.

Arnav still was taking their relationship slow.

While she wanted him to loosen up a little, she liked how he was being so caring with her.

Khushi sniffed standing in the kitchen. Mr. Raizada did not just know hot cook Thai. On top of showering her with love and gifts, he was also fattening her up with his amazing cooking.

Today he was in the mood for roasted chicken and mashed potatoes. Khushi was already drooling over the heavenly smell in the kitchen as she layered her chocolate pudding.

"These strawberries are so ripe" she said as she sliced them over the whip cream, its juice dripping over her fingers.

"And they smell so yummy" she added.

Not getting any response from him, she twisted her neck around to see what he was doing and to her surprise he wasn't even there.

"Arnav, where'd you go?" she yelled out.

"Im right here babe" he came up behind her.

Picking her up, he sat her down on the counter.

"What are you doing?" she asked at his usual random behavior.

"My clothes will get ruined, there is juice dripping!"

"Oh be quiet, they can be washed" he hushed her.

He took out a small box from his pocket and opened it up, showing the most beautiful small diamond tops.

Her mouth hung open at the sight.

"These are for you" he informed her, removing one and putting it in her ear with affection.

"Arnav this is way too much. I can't accept them"

"You have no choice. You will" he admired the earrings on her ears now.

"But"

"Sshh" he took her finger in his mouth and sucked the nectar.

"Mmm these are so sweet and they smell so good!"

"Yeah I know" she pulled her face close and planted a kiss on his mouth.

"Thank you so much!"

"Hmm...it was my pleasure getting them" he mumbled against her lips in between the kisses.

The timer of the oven went off bringing them back to the present.

"Oh good, I am hungry" Khushi cheered.

"I am too" Arnav growled.

Grinning at his meaning she pushed him back and jumped down.
