CHAPTER 12

"Anji meet Rahul" Khushi said to Anjali pointing towards Rahul who had come for breakfast. Anjali had an instant liking to him.

"Hi Rahul. I'm sorry but I don't remember you. Khushi has told me about you"

"It is nice to hear that you don't remember me because the past we had is not worth remembering"

Anjali just smiled.

"Anjali I feel that you are more beautiful than Khushi"

Just then Arnav came in.

"How dare you flirt with my sister?"

"Khushi I think Arnav is acting, else how would he remember about our terms?" Rahul whispered to Khushi.

"Shut up Rahul"

"Arnav he was just giving a compliment. And Rahul is a changed man, so no need to be so rude with him"

"If he has changed then that is good for him"

They had breakfast. Khushi knew that if Arnav continued with this attitude for Rahul then it will be easier for her to bring him back.

Anjali was in her room day dreaming about Rahul. She liked him, his character. If Khushi said that he has changed then it was to be believed .

Arnav and Khushi were in their room.

"Khushi I need tea"

"What ? Arnav, you just had breakfast..!!!"

"Thats why, I couldn't have tea because of that Rahul..!!!"

"What? Because of him?"

"Yeah I don't like him around. He used to have a crush on you, thats why I hate him..!!!"

Khushi was shocked to hear that.

"What the? Arnav because he had a crush on me you hated him?"

"Yes...!!!"

Khushi felt really happy at that statement made by her husband that too in a state when he was out of his mind even.

In Anjali's room she was trying hard to remember things from the past. Khushi had told her everything about her and them. She found her diary and the old photos and kept on staring at them. Meanwhile Rahul came to meet her.

"Hi Anjali"

"Hi"

"wassup ?"

"Nothing I was trying to recollect old memmories which I seem to have orgottn completely"

"Oh, I think I can help you"

"How?"

"Havent you seen in the TV shows that someone looses his or her memory and regaind it when they are hit on the head. I can help you by hitting you"

"Are you serious? I now understand why we used to hate you"

"I was just joking to lighten the mood"

"Then its OK"

"Bye then cya. Continue with your try'

"Bye"

It was almost dinner time when Anjali came out of her room. Arnav was not there. Only a single plate was set in the dining area.

"Khushi aren't you both eating?"

"Anji, I thought that today we three cant eat from one plate as in the old days"

"we used to do so?"

"yeah we used to feed each other while doing so"

"Oh thats very nice"

"Whats very nice Anjai?"

"Bhai that we are eating from the same plate today"

"Is it?"

Khushi nodded. They all sat down and fed each other. Khushi was reminded of the old days when they used to sit down like this together and enjoy. Everything was fine till Anjali's birthday, if it was not for that day everything would have been the same till now.

By this time Anjali was feeling uneasy. Her head was spinning. Old images flashed through her mind, but nothing was clear. 3 people were sitting in front of a single plate and feeding each other and then one girl started running and he boy and the other girl was running behind her.

"Anji are you OK? What happened suddenly"

"Khushi I think I'm getting lashes of the past"

"Really Anji ? that is a superb news."

"I hope so"

Arnav was not understanding a bit of the conversation.

"What is going on?"

Khushi and Anjali realised that they were talking about this in ffront of him.

"Nothing Bhai. We were trying to fool you"

Anjali said without meeting his eyes. Khushi knew that she used to do this only while telling lies to him. She was sure that Anjali was recovering.

Anjali went back to her room and arranged her bed meanwhile Khushi and Arnav were in their room.

"Arnav, just a minute and I will be back"

"Where are you going Khushi? don't leave me.!"

"Arnav I'll be back now. I just wanted to talk to Anji"

"Then I will also come"

"No Arnav I said na I will be back soon"

"Ok"

She went to Anjali's room. She was already in bed when she heard the knock.

"Yes"

"Anji its me Khushi"

"Come in Khushi since when did you start knocking the door before entering my room?"

Khushi entered.

"Anji are you faking memory loss?"

"Why Khush? Why do you feel so?"

"Actually you are doing things which make me doubt"

"What did I do?"

"You used to look down while lying to Arnav and you just did that in the dining hall and now you called me Khush irritated with my question"

"Does that mean I'm recovering?"

"I think so"

"I'm so happy Khushi. I'm really happy"

"I'm too"

"After you recover we have to bring Arnav also back to his senses"

"Right, bhai also needs to recover"

"Ok then, have your medicines and go to sleep. Arnav will be waiting for me. Good night"

"Good night bhabhi"

Khushi left

Anjali switched of the table lamp and went to sleep. But tonight sleep was not something which she was to get easily.

She kept turning from one side to other trying to attain sleep but was not able to. She was getting faint images of her room and then Khushi's house her room. She could see Khushi on the bed. She was talking to hrer eventhough the conversation was not clear. She left to RM. And then she took the car and drove off. She stopped beside a building where another girl was waiting. The next moment that girl was driving and then CRASH...!!!

"BHAI"

Anjali screamed as she woke up from the nightmare. It was not just a nightmare. It was something which had occurred to her.

"Means Lavanya bhabhi is dead?" Anjali said as she regained her memory..!!!

HOW WAS IT?

ANJALI HAS GOT HER MEMORY BACK.!!!

SO WHAT DID SHE MEAN BY THE LAST SENTENCE???

WILL SHE ACCEPT KHUSHI AS HER BHABHI?

WHAT ABOUT ARNAV ?

WHEN WILL HE BE BACK TO HIS SENSES?

WILL HE ACCEPT KHUSHI?
