Love this story, it is very good, i don't know if you do it on purpose or not but somehow i always see some underlying message in them.
If i put myself in Khushi's place (who is young and innocent) , i admit that i would be tempted to forget and forgive and throw myself in his arms..BUT my illusion have long died... please do not misunderstand me, i am not a bitter person , not at all, but i do not believe in any such thing as undying love.
A relationship need nuturing and care, just saying that you love someone is not at all enough, love is shown not told. It is shown everyday through a nice gesture, a passing caress, a soft smile, through supprot, trust, beliving in each other... if each time a person has to suffer the taunts of his/her companion and then get a mere 'I AM SO SORRY < I LOVE YOU BABE' in return then that relationship is doomed. the person at the reciving end will slowly switch off, he/she will no longer feel anything for the other, not even hatred , they become
immune ans cold and aloof. then you have 2 strangers living together with sometime the children acting as a bridge. I was that bridge between my parents so i know.
