Chapter 3
Benji : So cook ...cook n cook, wat did u cook? how did u cook n for whom dd u cook ???
Nupsi : I lost the offer
Diya : Oh poor baby ...nevermind...u already have a job in hand
Nupsi : i got fired from der too!!!!😭
Whole gang: What???how!!!!!!!!!

Nupsi was sobbing hard ... b/w her crying she fumbled : "My old boss was der ..in foodie america for auditions ...he rejected me frm der ...and fired me from my old job ...saying that if i don't lyk working here, I should not be here😭😭😭"

Diya : Oh! Baby ..u will get a new job
Gunji : And since u dont have the old job ...u will not face this same problem 😉
Diya : Shut up Gunji

Benji : So I will call up Mayu n cancel the party tonight
Nupsi : What party ??
Uday : he got the role as a lead ...so he was throwing a party ..
Nupsi smiling for the frst tym ...that evening .. : Oh Wow!! plz dnt tell him abt me!! he deserves the happiness... it is his day ..I can,t ruin it

Later that evening ..They gathered at Mayu's place ... Aftr dnnr they sat infrnt of the Tv

Gunji was pissed ...
Mayu : "hey Gun wassup?? U look angry"
Gunji : yeah...my phone ...m trying to call up my brother ...but every tym either its a wrng numbr or a cross connection ...
Mayu : "Gun u can,t be upset tonight !! Its my big night .. I made it!!! I got a job"
Al tough Nupsi had put up a brave face... Seeing mayu all happy abt his job ...Nupsi was feeling an ache in her heart ...She was happy for him but sad for herself too ...She cudnot explain her emotions even to herself...
Diya judged her dilemma ...
Diya : "Hey mayu ...job is imp ...but its not the end of lyf!!"
Mayu : "Comeon it is!! No job ...ur lyf is stinking in the dump!!"
Nupsi cudnot take it anymore ..She ran towards the terrace ...Standing alone under the moon light tear drops glittered on the brim of her eyes...
Mayu : What happened to her ??
Uday told mayu abt everything... mayu was shocked ...
Diya : I will call her back
Mayu : wait its my fault ...I will handle her
Uday : Ok talk to her ...we are right across the hall in Nupsi's n Diya's house ...
Mayu : Ok
All of them left
Mayu entered the terrace
Mayu : Hey u!! Sorry for behaving lyk a jerk der...
Nupsi : Its ok !! not ur fault
Mayu wiped Nupsi's tears..
Mayu : Nupsi amgnst all 6 of us !! i have been the one with no job...most of the tyms...but u all supported me...u will be fine too!!!!!!
Nupsi turned towards Mayu ...n smiled for the second tym that evening ... n both tyms it was becoz of Mayu ...
Her face looked eternal in the silvery nightlight ...
The color of her cheek, the glow in her eyes...the pink of her lips were looking pretty different tonight...Although the both of them knew each other since ever..there was a strange feeling grasping their hearts...Suddenly the scenario changed ..It was no longer two friends standing next to each otr ...it was something intense ...something both of them had not felt atleast for each otr.
Suddenly Mayu reduced the gap b/w the two and captured Nupsi's lips. She should have stopped him..but she cudnot..Even she responded back to the kiss... Mayu wrapped Nupsi's waist with both his hands...and she melted in his arms...her hand went to his hair...& ruffled them... they pulled each otr towards themselves & hugged ever more tightly...😳

The moment was broken by honking of cars in the street below! Nupur realised ...wat was happening n broke free from the kiss..
Nupsi all freaked out: "Watever happened was wrong!!" She crossed the index finger of both her hands "What happened b/w us is wrong it is lyk a cross connection "

Meanwhile Gunji across the hall was shouting on top of her voice on the phone : "A cross connection 😡 ...Dis is the eternal connection ...dis is the only connection ...der can't be a bttr connection than this on the earth " ...and she slammed the cellphone on the table .
