After the song stopped, Mayu n nupsi njyed a nyc dinner together.
Mayu put his hands on nupsi's hand.
Nupsi : i luv u ... m lucky to have you.
Mayu : n guess what! u were ready to loose all dis thinking i m gonna marry avira.
Nupsi: hehe, ya funny stry!!
Mayu: funny knowing me for so long u thought i will marry avira!!
Nupur sat expressionless. Her fears came true. Mayu didn't want to marry. Oh! no she fell for a guy who didn't believe in the institution of marriage. She remembered about an envelope under her drawer. Now only God could save her.

Nupur waved Mayank goodbye, the date left a feeling of content in her heart but was it something that she cud cherish for a life tym or it was just these few moments she was enjoying.

She had known Mayank too long to know that whatever he was doing for her was more than he could give. She loved him. He too loved her. A faint smile crawled on her lips but then she remembered something which she could not ignore anymore. He was in town. She had to do something fast. She wanted to tell Mayu abt it but it was her problem. She was strong enough to handle the situation.

It was again the eternal fight between Nupur's heart n mind. Her mind told her not to share anything with mayu coz she was strong but her heart knew she was scared how mayu will react to all dis. He may even end things wid Nupur. Will he? Maybe maybe not!! but Nupur was too scared to even find out about it.

The pressure was immense. Nupur didn't even realize when she sat on her bed, when she chewed half of her manicured nails n when she put her head on the tear soaked pillow and fell asleep.

At middle of night she woke up from her not so comfortable sleep. Stress n anxiety were killing her. She found herself lying in an awkward pose. She got up suddenly and opened the dreaded drawer. The envelope was there. She had not opened it but she knew what was in it. Sarcastically, she thought even in this age people do send letters from India to US. She picked up the letter, she wanted to open it but then changed her mind and threw the letter back in the drawer.

Finally she remembered the long call she attended with her mother the other day. Her mother wanted to get her married to this "Adhiraj". He was in town and even ready to marry her but there was no love. On the flip side Mayank was in love with her but there was no marriage there.

She had both love n marriage in her destiny, it was not just with a single person.

The morning arrived earlier than Nupur expected it to arrive. Adhiraj had called her twice to cross check if she is coming or not. Nupur had taken the final decision. She chose love over marriage. Se knew the hurt but there was no life without Mayu. She just had to tell Adhiraj that in person and end the story before anything else happened.

Nupur dressed simply in a jeans n tee and moved out of the bedroom. In the hall she met Dia, Gunji, Uday n benji.
Dia : Hey u
Gunjan: lately u have been pretty secretive. We noe whats going in ur mind
Uday: My baby sis is going to get married.
Benji : yupie ..band baaja baarat
Dia: n look at u ...aunty was so right ...
Nupur : what?
Gunji: come on ...u r going to meet adhiraj
Dia: n u need a makeover. aunty sent us dis.

It was a pretty red suit. Nupur looked at it haplessly. She was going to deck up herself to reject a guy.

Nupur: guys , I really need to talk.

Gunji: Talking tym is over... now we talk u listen.

With that gunji n dia took nupsi inside for a makeover.

Nupur reached the same French restaurant where Mayu had taken her for the eventful "double date". But things looked different. The tables were removed. The whole place was decorated in lights n candles. Long trail of flowers where hanging all around the room. And what she saw next blew her off completely.

He was on his knees with a ring in his hand.
