Chapter : 9

Mayu was standing in the centre..surrounded by 3 girls. 2 of them were highly perplexed n one was fuming with anger.

Mayur : "Oh! god ...i m just her frnd!!"
Avira : "& she is just a frnd for u too"
Mayu wanted to finish the sentence...but cud only mumble :"i...friend..."
Gunji : "I knew it , something was happening!!"
Di : "Gunji! u n ur sixth sense... u r so effective ,when it cums to forecasting events of past 😡"
Gunji : "Girl !! chk ur tone or else i can predict sumthng abt u too 🤢"
With that gunji n dia strtd staring at each otr
Avira: "People, focus, i am sure gunji makes wondrful predictions abt the past 😆, but look at Mayu, he needs our help"
All three grls stopped their conversation n turned arnd towrds mayu. He was least interested in happenings arnd him. He was luking out of the window.
Avira: "Mayu"
Mayank cuming back to his senses said : "I am srry, btw avira... hope u r over aks! can't blve that u two brokeup"
Avira : "broke-up!! he wantd to propose me for marraige! dats y he did all the breakup drama"
Mayu : "who needs to breakup, for a marraige proposal?"
Avira : "Who needs to enact as bstfrnds, wen in luv... pyaar main thoda bahut drama chalta hai yaar!!"
Mayank: "enuf!! evryone is not as lucky as u... nupur is not even affected by the fact... that i date u or sumone else!! she doesnot even noe what i feel for her.. why dis false hope😡" with that mayu stormed out of the house slamming the main door .
Di, gunji n avira were all dumbstruck n kept luking at each otr.
Within minutes the front door opened agn n mayu entered.
Mayu : "Technically its my house, n i have no otr place to go, so i am back"
with that mayu entrd his bedrum n slammed the door
Dia : "oK! girls if u care abt the doors in this house put ur heads togther n think wat to do abt mayu n nupsi"
Gunji : "yeah"
Avira : "Fynlly! some sense poured out of a mouth otr than mine 😲 "
Di n gunji stared at avira 😡😡 but without luking towards them both Avira continued : "C nupsi luvs mayu, that is evident in her eyes!! but somethng is stopping her ...we need to find what is dat...u two have any clues?"
Di : "srsly speaking.. i don't noe !! lately she has been dating so many guys"
Avira : "Dats bcoz she is hiding her feelings for mayu... u c she feels mayu luvs me so she is being a frnd "
Gunji : "Who is that Idiot!! who has filled up her brains with such crazy crap😡"
Di : "i guess that will be u 😉 remmbr evening b4 that double date nupsi was so elated n u told her that mayu luvs avira😡"
Gunji : "😕it was us ..not me alone"
avira : " grls focus!!! i alwaz wondered y mayu n nupsi are so stupid ...but looking at u all ..i feel u all are actually a bunch of idiots "😆

Avira : "Anywaz i am here to enlighten u ..so heres the plan..."
After discussing (read it fighting and taunting) for about an hour they came up wid an algorithm.
Step 1 : to crack up nupsi infront of her friends. let it come out of nupsi's mouth that she luvs mayu
Step 2 : to ensure nupsi feels Mayu n avira are going strong ... but also drop hints that avira is cheating on mayu.
Step 3 : to confront mayu nupur ...dat all their affairs are a waste of tym ...n they should be togther forever.

Di : "wow, dat is really easy...make anyone fall in luv... we are the luvgurus i feel"
Gunji : "It all depends on past lyf karma 😆, u noe nupsi n mayu are our puppets... we are gonna toy with them 😆😆 they are so gonna thank us for that. "
Avira : "Seriously, r plan is fault proof 😃"

Voice in bg : "What plan?"
Di n gunji :"nupsi"
Gunji : "Our new year plan"😉
Di : "btw who is dis handsome"
Nupsi : "My date samrat, wat say guys isn't he the perfect eye candy.anywaz ... i am going now, just wanted u all to meet sammy. cya latr"
Minutes aftr sammy n nups left the room dia continued : "omg!!! "
Gunji : "yeah he is handsome 😳"
Di : "gunji u don't get it... for our plan to execute... nupsie had to be single n sad..."
Avira : "No worries we will break these two up!!"
Gunji : "yes, i hav to free sammy ...coz sam n me are made for each otr..i already luv him"
Avira : "sammy is my frnd...i will talk to him !! he is not a threat"
n one secret i want to share wid u all ...

plan execution .
Step 1: cracking nupsi
Di , Gunji and nupsi were sitting in dia n nupsi's aparrtmnt. Suddenly gunji continued.

Gunji : I hate that bitch, mean

Di : who u talking about?

Gunji : who else but avira!!!! Man she n mayu i dn't feel they gel together.

from corner of their eyes both gunji n dia saw what was Nupsi's reaction on the whole avira gossip. but to their surprise nupsi seemed least bothered. Man she had become real good in hiding her feelings.

gunji not able to hold herself continued : "Nupsi, wat is ur thought on that sweets"

Nupsi : "for first tym in lyf mayu has fallen in luv ..be supportive"

With that Nupsie left the room, Dia and Gunji kept staring at each other .
Dia : "God!! this girl is tough to crack!!"
Gunjan : "I noe."😡

Dia n gunj kept on trying their luck directly indirectly over few days nothing much happened in their favor. They now almost started losing hope.

One evening Avira, , dia n gunji were sitting together at Excel Perk.

Gunji : iguess our plan has doomed!!!
Dia : Plan.. i don't care !! nupsi n mayu's feelings are doomed.. maybe luv was one sided!! it was only mayu who cared.. for Nupsi , Mayu is a friend...nothing more
Avira : It can't be... we r missing something. Maybe she is not speaking up but some gesture of hers...anything at all.. think girls think...
Dia .. i find gher reserved des daz...thats all. She is lost in her own world. I asked her, but she blamed her work load.
Avira : Work load... she is a chef...she alwaz had that wrk load... c wat i mean, she is not speaking but she is killing herself inside.
Gunji : we r working on our assumptions we need to know what she feels in reality. If she doesn't luv mayu, we r pushing the wrong buttons here.
Avira : for first tym u talked sense gunji .

Gunji who took the compliment with a pinch of salt gave a wry smile.

Di : ok girls, i guess its no mayu-nupsi from now on.

Both Avira n Di had sulken faces. Out of blue ,lost in her own thoughts Gunji laughed. Both Di n Avira stared at her.
Gunji : Other day i saw nupsi scribble "M+N" in a heart. I felt she had a crush on sum "M" guy but when i confronted her she said she was designing a cake for some client ..funny how the world works.
Dia n avira kept staring at gunji.
Gunji : "Ok ! i noe out of context... but still wanted to share wid u all.

Dia "😡.. gunji u really r an idiot"
b4 dia cud continued Avira snapped "& i never disagreed 😆"
Gunji had a blank expression.🥱 "What happened!!"

Di : "u moron!! nupsi luves mayu "
Avira interjected "& u knew it all the while babes ;)"

gunji gave a confused expression...
Avira cont : "i have to meet mayu now!!! will meet u guys later"

After some while , Nupur was getting out of her door when saw Avira cuming out of Mayu's house. She wore a huge smile on her face and a diamond solitaire in her ring finger 😕
What Nupsi had seen was a final blow. She had tried a lot to act cool but not anymore. The ring in Avira's hand killed Nupur inside. Mayank was going away from her forever.
Nupur hid heself from Avira's view. Her eyes were filled with tears. Acting cool for mayu's happiness was maybe not the best decision she took.
she didnot know what to do next, but something was needed to be done. It was not a tym to cry. She needed to speak for her love now.
Wiping her tears, she went to mayu's door. It was open. She closed it n went inside to find Mayu standing in his bedroom.
Seeing Mayu, nupur was filled with mixed emotions. She was so angry with him that she wanted to slap him. She luved him so much that she wanted to hug him.
In a confusion she moved towards Mayu n held his collar.

Nupsi : "How cud u do it to me" she pulled him towards herself in full rage.
mayu was confused, he luked perplexed : "i don't understand nupsie"
Nupsie : "u don't understand...i will mke u understand."
With that she sealed her lips on Mayu's lips 😳
