Khushi had been dying to see Arnav. She rushed into the campus hoping that he was already there.

She scanned the area, with no luck. She felt a hand gently pressing down on her shoulder. She knew it was his touch. Only his touch gave her a tingly feeling in her stomach. Only his touch made her heart beat faster.

She turned around to see her boyfriend. Without thinking she embraced him in her arms. She stretched her arms around his neck, making sure that he was close to her.

Arnav hesitated.

He heard Khushi began to whisper into his ear.

"Thank you for the flowers Arnav. They are really nice and thoughtful-"

Before she could continue Arnav interrupted her.

"Khushi I need to speak to you-"

"No let me speak, Arnav i-"

Khushi waited and thought about what she was going to say. She gathered all of her courage and let out her feelings to him.

"Arnav I love you"

Arnav eyes widened with shock. What had he done? Unwillingly he had lead her on to something he wish had never happened.

"Shit!" Arnav thought as he slowly let go of Khushi.

He didnt have the strength to break her heart. not again. However, deep inside of him, he didnt want to break up with her. It was almost as if his heart and mind was at war. and that too because of a girl.

Never was he going to say that he loved her. However its not like he did anyways.

"Thanks Khushi. Ive got to run to class, nothing personal ummm. Talk to you later."

Unexpectedly, he gently stroked Khushi's hand before departing. He had an urge to feel her.

Khushi watched him go. a series of unanswered questions were constantly bugging her mind. Did he love her? Was it fake? Why was he being' awkward? Khushi knew that they were going out, but never had he ever made her feel as if they were. As if Arnav hadn't even accepted it.

Later on'''..

"What the hell was that Arnav?" Aakash had started to screw at him, as he had witness the whole scene.

Arnav just simple pulled his eye brows together.

Aakash was getting more annoyed by the minute.

" why did you hug her, I was there I saw it all happen!!!"

Arnav was left speechless.

"Aakash.. Did you hear what she said to me?" Arnav curiously asked.

"No why?"

Arnav let out a sign of relief.

"Exactly' you don't know what she said to me."

" what did she say then?"

Aakash crossed his arms.

" she said to me'. That' she was really upset about her family' and to thank me for being there she gave me' a hug."

"And what did she say about the roses then?"

"She said thanks." Arnav hastily replied.

" let's just drop the subject Aakash."

Arnav and Aakash walked to class, in complete silence.

Khushi was dawdling along the corridors, waiting for Lavanya to come out of the class. Arnav came from around the corner and stood behind Khushi.

He finally had a chance to talk to her, when she was alone.

Khushi immediately turned around as she felt his presence.

" hi Khushi."

" hi Arnav, how come you're here. You finish now don't you?"

" yeh I do'. But I had to talk to you."

Khushi was lost deep into her thoughts. Arnav noticed that she wasn't paying attentions and snapped his hands to get her attention. She quickly shook.

" what's wrong Khushi?"

" oh nothing. Well'. Its actually.. my brother doesn't like the fact that im going out with you"

" I don't blame him" Arnav thought to himself.

" he said that your just a player like any other guy. But then when the flowers came he just thought that it was a bribe. He thought that he was just using me." Khushi spoke the last bit very soft and gently. She almost felt guilty and embarrassed to say that. Her cheeks had turned a baby pink and her eyes were fixed on the ground.

Arnav put his hand on khushi's chin and gently lifted it up. He avoided eyes contact, as he knew the consequences.

"Who is your brother?" Arnav asked curiously.

"Virat Gupta" Khushi replied.

Arnav's eyes widened as his mouth dropped open.
