" ok, um Arnav, I have to go now, I talk to you later!" Khushi ran off to catch up to Lavanya.

Arnav watched her go. When she was out of sight, Arnav walked away silently.

Raizada Mansion'..

"WHAT?!" Aakash was blown away. Never had he thought for this day to arise.

Arnav just silently stood there, gently tilting his head in agreement. He also couldn't believe it.

"HER OLDER BROTHER IS VIRAT!" Aakash screamed.

"Shhh, I know I can't believe it either! That b**** is her brother! I still can't believe it! How can Khushi be so sweet and committed to a relationship and there is him. Cant even stay committed to his best friend!"

"Arnav-"

"No, don't you remember what he did to me?"

"Lavanya you said that you loved me?" Arnav questioned Lavanya,

Arnav had been in love with Lavanya for 4 years. Never the less did he know, that the one who he was the closest too, was the one to betray him.

"Look Arnav she never-"Virat spoke.

Arnav and Virat were best friend's sine they were 5.

"You know?" Arnav's voice trembled.

"Umm' Arnav yeh' I did know that she' umm' never loved you" Virat looked down as he avoided eye contact with Arnav.

Arnav's blood began to boil; his temper was going out of control as well as his actions.

He swooped next to him and held him by his collar.

"What do you mean you knew?"

Virat could feel Arnav breathing heavily. He knew it was not the right time to start a argument.

He gently pushed Arnav off, and stepped back, before Arnav could step forward.

"Look, she never loved you, and I don't think she will either Arnav. I think it will be better to just move forward." Virat spoke quietly. All Virat wanted was the best for Arnav.

Arnav furiously turned towards Arnav. She started to sweat, as he took steps towards her.

"So, you never loved me?"

Lavanya just simply nodded as her words didn't seem to come out of her mouth.

"Ok, who do you love?" Arnav pressurised Lavanya.

He watched her gaze move towards Virat. He knew, he knew very well.

His best friend had betrayed him. Stabbed him in the back.

"VIRAT!" Arnav screamed.

Virat let out a sigh and squinted his eyes together.

" uhhh..umm" Virat had no words left to say. He just let Arnav vent out all of his anger.

"YOU AND HER! Ok'. So Virat explain to me.. You stabbed me behind the back. You betrayed your best friend for a girl? Didn't you think about me once before you got with her? Just once? You knew Virat, you knew. You knew how much I like/loved her yet you still thought it would be appropriate to be with her? What type of a best friend are you? Like really? You know what? Your not even worthy to be someone's best friend."

He turned to Lavanya.

"If he betrayed me, there is no doubt that he will betray you. Ive known him for about 15 years now and never had he betrayed me? What he knows you for like'.. 3 months. Think about it"

Arnav stormed out.

"Damn it!"

Arnav and Aakash were chilled back on the bed, as Arnav narrated the story.

"Then I moved school, and that's when I met you!" A smile appeared on Arnav's face.

" so what you going to do about Khushi?" Aakash curiously asked.

" honestly, I don't know' like I would break up with her'' I just wished I knew earlier that her brother was Virat. He will never let me go out with her!"

"why?"

" well after that, we became like proper enemies. He said that he didn't want me to come near him ever again."

" ohh"

" yeh so I don't think he let Khushi come near me again.!"

" yeh that's a good thing then."

Aakash got up and walked out of the room, leaving Arnav isolated.

" yeh' is it a good thing?" Arnav questioned himself. Once more, he was left without a answer.

He knew that if Virat was her older brother that there would defiantly be obstacles that would lie ahead of them.

" hold on, I was just using khushi to get to Lavnya. If I cant see her then that should be good. Why are there so many doubts running through my mind though?" Arnav kept forcing his mind, to forget but it was simply not possible.

Next day...

Arnav strolled down the corridor, wanting to avoid khushi. A gentle breeze hit him. He knew instantly that god had other plans.

Arnav felt her presence; however it was too late to react. His goddess was standing in front of him waiting for him return to earth.

She snapped her finger.

" oh sorry, hi"

" its okay, hi how are you?"

" yeh Im ok I guess."

" Khushi... I need to speak to you..." Arnav said quietly .

" yeh?"

Arnav looked up and saw her innocent, beautiful brown eyes. He didn't want to do what he had to do. He drowned in her eyes, and it made him forget all the problems that the world had created for them.

He looked away from Khushi to regain courage on what he was going to say.

" umm... khushi... I don't think... umm this is going to work out. I have exams and stuff and I wont have... time for you... and its going to be hard for me with the pressure of exams and stuff... so I guess we should..."

Arnav looked up to see those innocent, beautiful brown eyes being drowned. Her lips were trembling, as she was. .

" oh right so you...want a... Break up?" Khushi spoke softly as she continually looked down.

He didn't reply, but she got the message. Without any further conversation, Khushi rushed down the corridor. She covered her mouth with her hands, as she let her tears flow endlessly.

"khushi-"

" I broke her heart, again. What is my problem? I guess that with the circumstances, I had to. You will be able to get over me khushi. I used her, but she didn't know. My heart told me a thousand times that I was doing something wrong, but I wasn't ready to accept. However my heart triumphed my mind, and I have learned to accept it khushi. I hope that you get over me... but I wont be able to get over you Khushi... I love you truly and deeply. And it hurts to know that you shall never be mine. I will make you mine Khushi Kumari Gupta. However I shall wait for that day to come... even if I have to wait forever, I will for you khushi." Arnav promised himself.

Khushi's house...

Khushi weakly opened the door. She wiped her tears away and forced herself to smile. Virat came from the stairs, and walked towards her.

" Hi khushi... khushi?" He gently nudged khushi.

" oh sorry, hi Bhai, how are you?" Khushi kept her head, down avoiding eye contact.

" khushi" he gently held her by her shoulders and lifted her chin up.

" What up yaar? Why do you look at me when I don't want you to?"

Khushi pushed past him and stormed off.
