Chapter 17: Vanishing Clouds

Sw: Dad

Kr: Dad, Shekhawat uncle right what happened to him

(wiping his tears)

Swayam's dad had met with an accident almost and hour

back, everyone accompanied swayam to the hospital and

were waiting along with his mother outside the operation

theatre. Kriya held swayam's hand in hers and convincing

everything would be alright everytime he looked at her

with the pain of having to face if something went wrong.

Kriya herself had was so worried but she had to keep a

consoling face for her friend. She then realized that

Swayam would probably handle himself better if Sharon

was in her place. Kriya turned around to look for Sharon

and as soon as she did she saw her parents come

accompanied by Rey's mom and Alisha. All of them were

here except where were they '''''''''..

Yes she was consoling her friend but now she herself was

loosing hope she was desperately looking around to see the

eyes that could give her hope ''''''

Kr(to herseft): Rey and Sharon kaha hai

The silence of terror prevailed, for one of losing love, for

the other of losing a friend.Everyone present there felt

the fear of losing something or the other.

Just then the doctor came out and everyone eagerly

looked him expecting the best and trying to overcome the

worst that kept rewinding and playing itself unintensionally

in each of their minds.

Doctor: (he glanced all the faces and stopped at

swayam's)

Are you the patients son

Swayam: (got up trembling) Yes doctor

How is my dad

Doc:I will be honest with everyone here

He was brought late to the hospital hence in the corse of

time he lost a lot of blood also there is a lot of internal

bleeding

The patient is indeed in a very critical condition and in

dire need of blood

Then tuning toward swayam

Son is your blood group O negative

Swayam just looked at him with a blank expression

Swayam's mom (Dr. Shweta Shekhawat): No its not

No doctor is allowed to operate on their family members

By all due means I respect all your team and you but as

much I respect you

I am aware of the fact that your team doesn't have a

member on the team experienced with this type of cases

You do know I m specially trained for emergency operation

i.e the accidents, murders etc

Operating in this condition need accuracy, speed and

experience

And sorry to let you know but you are not experienced and

knowing all this

Tell me why should I let my husbands life be a subject to

your first time experiment.

Saying so she walked into the dressing room to get her

surgery outfit

A woman of substance indeed, for what she was going to

do it could be the biggest achievement or her first

biggest failure.

Before entering the operation theatre she gave swayam

her mobile and instructed him to go through all the

contacts and call all hospitals and blood banks to arrange

for blood.

Swayam immediately began executing his mother's order,

GRP was also busy trying arrange for blood by using his

contacts also helped swayam with the hospitals paper work.

Meanwhile kriya and the other louians stood in silence

ready to jump into immediate action if any necessary.

Swayam sank down on the becnch holding his face in his

hand

Sw; kuch nahi aur kuch ho bhi nahi sakta

Waha dad itne serious hai

ka operation kar rahi hai

Aur mai yaha useless baitha hu

Kriya dad thik toh ho jayengge na

Kriya had no answer this time she only looked at him

Ha obviously he will be fine, thodi si chot lagne se kuch

nahi hota

She came and sat on her knees beside kriya before

Kriya was now a little relieved because of sharon's presence

Just then the doctor came out and announced that blood

was arranged and the operation would be over soon.

Everyones face lit up

Swayam in an immediate reflex hugged Sharon

At first Sharon felt a little awkward and embarrassed but

then as much as she cared about all that, trillion times

more did she care about him and making him feel

comfortable became her priority hence returning his hug

she gave him the safest place to hide his tears in her

silky smooth caressing hair.

Kriya looked around expecting his presence but he was not

there

Kr (to herself)

Even though swayam had everyone with him, he too was

expecting rey.

Because honestly speeking Rey understood him more than

anyone and they had been there for each other through

thick and thin

Every person has a place in everyone's life and yes Rey

did to in swayam's life that of a friend he could die for

Just like the other important people like his family,

Sharon and Kriya

Kriya could see through swayam's thoughts she knew yes

She could console him

Sharon could give him feel at ease

But Rey was the only one who could make swayam realize

his own importance and bring in him the confidence to

actually stand up and act, battle with thing that are

against him

After a while Shweta aunty came out removed her mask

revealing her face that was painted with a beautiful smile

of happiness, accomplishment, relief and most of all

thankfulness that her prayers were answered

Swayam went and hugged her and tani joined in too.

Kr (pov)

Tani was not exactly a bad person I gez

She just loves rey and the very thought of losing him

made her do bad things

Infact honestly speeking she is more worthy of Rey than

I'm considering I just accepted fate and cried over it

I didn't try to do anything for my love, I didn't have the

However kriya joined in the celebration of end of hard

time that they faced .

Shweta went to change and everyone wore a smile on their

face.

Exceept GRP, Kriya, Sharom and Swayam rest of them

left after all it was 4'o clock at night everyone had to

catch up on their sleep after such a stressful event.

GRP went to take care of other formalities and Sharon

had suddenly disappeared into thin air.

Kriya accompanied Swayam to see his father from outside,

since post operation the patient was to be given rest

atleast until he is conscious

Doc:So you too should go catch up on your sleep

We are here to take care of him

Sw: Its ok doc, meri zarurat yaha zyada hai infact mom

ko rest karna chahiye

Doc: Yes indeed, I must complement, she is the bravest

woman I have seen

Sw; I know I admire them, both of them are amazing I m

very thankful to have such wonderful parents

By the way doctor thank you so much

Doc; oh, no not all plz don't thank me

Thank your mother and your friend

You are a very lucky guy

Saying so he left and swayam looked at his dad with love

and concern, right know he didn't care about whatever

happened in past about his father being against his

dancing and all.

All he knew was no matter what he does he was one of the

most important chapters in his life.

Sw: Finally the clouds have vanished

On the other hand kriya was caught up in the doctor's

words so she excused herself so as to go to the wash

room to fresh up a little.

Kr:

He didn't say friends he said friend didn't he

Whom was he referring to

What did he mean

Universeji was it just a mistake or was he actually

referring to someone

As she walked she saw the doctor come out of another

room and to her surprise followed by Sharon

Could it be Sharon

Could be because she walked in only afterwards

Also just after that the doctor announced he had received

the blood

Kriya was so happy she had a wide smile on her face as

she continued walking

She freshed up and while making her way back to the ICU

where swayam's dad was kept under observation she lost

her way but her stars shined upon her today she bumped

into her father

Grp: What are u doing?

Kr: walking around (obviously very embarrassed to tell

her dad that she lost her way that too now when she is

actually a constitutional declared adult above 18)

Grp: (looked at her shifting eyelid) Lost

Kr: No

Grp: ok hungry

Kr: but swayam

Grp: he is having dinner with Shweta I mean breakfast

Or maybe early breakfast its 5 after all

Kr: oh

Grp: want to spend some quality father daughter time

Kr: hmmm

Grp and kriya went to the hospital canteen to have dinner

acyually dawn breakfast

The father and daughter spend a lot of things

Grp told her so many things about his college time

It was such a new experience for kriya

Talking with her dad

Her eyes suddenly filled with tears

Grp: what happened kriya

Kr: No not that just reminded of my days back when I

was in school and all my friends would talk how they were

their dad'd princesses and their dad would always side

them against their mom's and all and I would ask mom why

my dad wouldn't talk to me

Grp felt so sad

had enough of it

They saw Sharon walk in and take things for eating she

didn't even respond when Grp tried to call her over

Kriya saw her father expression change so now she

started speaking about her childhood successfully managing

to deviate all his attention.

Kriya suddenly posed a question

Kr: dad what is sharon's blood group

Dad: why suddenly '

Kr: simply just wanted to know if her blood group is the

same as mine B+

Grp : with a smile no dear it is not B+

it is O+ the same as mine

Kriya was shocked but didn't really show it on her face

Her entire assumption was wrong.

Kr: Phir doctor baat kiski baat kar rahe the

I'm really sorry guys but

I really can't help it

I'm back to my college

I can update but can't guarantee other than continuing the story
