Chapter # 5
A boy and girl alone.

Nupur was standing blankly in front of the mirror. Her reflection seemed alien today, as if masks were pulled off and she was seeing someone she didn't know. Same facial features - but today they were defining something else. Something which she didn't know existed within herself; something she never expected was hidden in her.

She blinked her eyes again and again to clear off this new image she was referring on her face, she wanted to see the same old expressions, and she wanted to see the same old wish of death, that desperation of death, the same old herself!,

This can't be true!. She wanted to die!, and this couldn't be wrong. Mayank Sharma was only a manipulator, she wanted to die. Hungrily turning her head, she saw the sleeping pills bottle still lying on the table.

These pills will kill her in a matter of 5 minutes, and just because she wanted to end her life, whay was she waiting? Mayank was right!

"Why do I wait?", taking a deep breath, she rushed to the table. Grabbing the bottle,s he avoided thinking anything and she emptied the bopttle on her palm. She will gulp down all of them,,s o it takes even less than 5 minutes!.

Closing her eyes she stuffed her mouth with them.

"I warned you to be a good girl!, didn't I?",

Mayank's voice made her open her eyes and looking back at him with a stuffed mouth and triumphant expression in her eyes. She quickly took the glass of water to drink but before that, she had to cough out!

She ran to washroom and vomited in the basin, "OMG!", she coughed and all those tablets ejected out of her mouth, and could hear Mayank's giggle.

Those tablets made her shiver due to the sour taste, and as the tablets started dissolving due to saliva, which was within a few seconds, Nupur forgot everything and had to cough them out.

Nupur's eyes were watering and she rinsed her mouth numerous times, and finally feeling that sour sensation reducing she turned to find Mayank standing at the washroom door, holding the towel, "you really thought I didn't know you will try to prove me wrong?", he giggled and staring him, she passed by him angrily and took out another towel from the cupboard.

'Well now Nupur Bhushan, how about we both go the rooftop, its a beautiful night",

Nupur eyes went wide at his casual remark while he was staring her with a smile. Without saying anything, she went out of the room and within a minute, she heard her shouting.

"DADDD!!"

Mayank sighed and followed her.

"DADDD!!", Nupur was standing in the middle of the lounge and was shouting with closed eyes when a familiar grip clasped her mouth

, "ssshhh"

Nupur was about to freak out at the grip but the whisper made her breathless and opening her eyes, she found Mayank so close that she almost looked into his soul. A pure yet complex soul, finding answers for itself.

She jerked her head and was about to step back when his other hand was around her waist, pulling her closer,

"the moon is full today, and following the norms of the world., a boy and girl alone in a full moon night should at least pay a glance to the sky"

Nupur didn't realize that during his sentence, he had loosened the grip over her face, she realized only when he brushed her cheek, and she turned her face away.

"trust me the moon is incomplete without witnessing such a beauty nupur", this time he leaned on her ear and Nupur had no choice but to again look in his eyes, "you are sounding as if mad", she said without any voluntary preparation and Mayank smiled and leaned further,

"I thought I sounded as if in love"
