thats really says khushi desperateness in meeting arnav...but poor khushi...did arnav really gonna reject the proposal just for La...is he just acting or playing an act so that khushi will say no to marraige...?

Teaser Part 2:

Both families seemed to arrive at the hotel around the same time, the Raizada's welcomed the Gupta's with grace, and then the waiter ushered them to their table.

Just as Buaji moved, Arnav's breath caught.

He saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, she was fair, her long silky locks were flying in the wind around her angelic face. The chudidar which was quite common seemed to suit her body better then any one of lavanya's expeensive gowns looked on her.

The moment seemed to last forever, Khushi couldn't get herself to look up into the eyes of this stranger, her prince.

Anjali di nonchalantly coughed, which seemed to break the ongoing trance between the soon to be lovers. As the family sat around the table passing introductions and following rituals, Arnav cursed himself.

"How could you even have thought that Arnav!?" he questioned himself. "You know La is the only one meant for you, no matter what. Snap out of it, so what she's a pretty girl? La is pretty too!" Saying this he looked up and smiled at the innocent girl who couldn't even look into his eyes.

After ras malai was passed around Anjali declared that it was time for the two young love birds to have some time on their own, Payal and Anjali escorted their sibling to a remote part of the restaurant and quickly left while snickering.

Finally Khushi picked up her eyes and stared at the guy, he was handsome, with broad shoulders and very sharp features she quickly looked away.

Arnav felt her analyzing him and wanted to know, wanted to know what she thought of him, but why he wondered what difference does it make to me what a small commoner thinks of me? La thinks so well of me. He avoided her gaze and said, " I can't marry you." in a cold voice.

"Sorry? What's wrong in me? Have I done something wrong Arnavji?" Seh asked innocently.

"Nothing," he sighed, "I just have a girlfriend."

"But this marriage is very important for my family right now, I have not been able to find a groom after many meetings and everyone looks down on us." She sobbed.

Arnav thought the wheels turning in his head, "I'll marry you, because my family would love that too, but just for 1 year. That's it. Then we're off our separate ways."
