Part 4:

Khushi turned towards the only mirror present in the room and looked at herself, her face looked horrible, her swollen lips and her flushed cheeks, she looked away deciding not to let her past affect her present. What had happened had happened, and like arnavji said, it was just time for her to move on.

But questions overflowed in her mind.

Who was Riddhi?

Why did Arnavji call her by that name?

When he told her he mad e amistake he didn't look into her eyes, there had to be something.

Pushing her thoughts away, she quickly pulled herself together and followed Arnavji to his dining table.

On the other side of town, a girl stepped out of the rickshaw with a man in a black jacket, he payed the driver and smiled down at her.

"Riddhi is gone forever now, no one will find her, no one will help her, she will kill herself and that will be the end of it." He spat cruelly.

"Hahahahaha, thank god dear, I was so worried that she would yell and help would come, you know her childhood lover is now a police officer." Said the women as the opened the door to their flat.

"Offcourse I know, but to him, Riddhi dies 9 years ago, leaving him with only painful memories." The man said.

"Oh Shyam, you're too good!" Lavanya passed him a glass of water and smiled, amused, "What did Riddhi ever do to you that made you ruin her life?"

"It's what she didn't do, she never loved me, she never liked me, she only liked him, even after knowing that I would kill him, she gave herself to me, but only to help Arnav, thoughts of him came to her everyday, she never loved me.

Lavanya chuckled at her fianc dark, dashing, and a bad boy.

In a small village in Hoshyarpur, Riddhi lay on her death bed, not able to meet Arnav, Arnav, she smiled, he was her everything, nine years, she lived a lifelong lie, she was tortured, only so Shyam would not take his life, she took it all, the pain, the hitting, and the embarrassment all for him. Only to die without seeing him.

"Bitiya, please be optimistic, you will be fine." The old nurse said.

Riddhima lay with a gash in her stomach, the pain so much that it was numb, she knew she was dying. As her eyes closed, she whispered, "If Arnav comes, tell him, I love him and that I am only his."

Arnav was getting his cereal and milk when suddenly the wind blew, Riddhi, she was alive, his heart knew it!

He turned towards the wind and saw Khushi approach him, forgetting who she was, he rushed to her, and sweeped her off of her feet in a hug.

"I've missed you so much, thank god you're okay" he stated.

Khushi was unable to understand what was happening, why was Arnavji acting like this. She pushed at him.

Feeling her struggling, Arnav looked up, only to realize that he held Khushi in his arms.

"I'm sorry," he muttered. "I thought you were someone else."

With that he sat down and began devouring his cereal. Khushi looked at him, awestruck.
