Inflight entertainment part 3
Arnav seemed very angry and if there's one thing Khushi Kumaari Gupta Singh Raizada knows, it's how to distract Arnav. So she put her plan into action. How is she going to distract him? Simples. Go along with what he wants for a while and then negotiate a bit.
---Three bites later----
Arnav fed another mouthful to khushi. Khushi scrunched up her face while she chewed the food.
"What's wrong?" Arnav asked, annoyed.
Khushi swallowed
"I don't like it. it's yucky."
"How can you not like lasagne?"
"If you like it so much then you eat it!"
"Fine! I will!"
Arnav ate a spoonful of lasagne. Khushi waited, watching as Arnav chewed the food.
"It's good..." Arnav lied.
"You're lying!"
"Am not!" Arnav lied again.
"Arnavji, I am your wife. I know when you are lying."
"Ha... if you knew when i was lying, our marriage wouldn't have lasted this long..." Arnav thought out loud.
"EXCUSE ME?!"
Arnav bit his tongue.
"did i say that out loud?"
"Yes you did. LET ME OUT!!"
Luckily Arnav also knew how to pacify his wife. Ignore her yelling, until she calmed down and then make a deal that would inevitably benefit him more.
Khushi took a deep breath and continued in a low, threatening voice.
"Arnav Singh Raizada let me go! Or so help me i will scream this plane down!"
"If i let you go, then you have to promise you will eat the food."
"But that's not fair" Khushi whined
Arnav shrugged and fed khushi another bite of lasagne. Khushi grudgingly chewed the lasagne.
"Fine." Khushi grumbled.
"Fine?"
"I'll eat the damn food. Let me go!"
"Okay..."
Arnav opened the seatbelt and watched as khushi ate her food.
"Arnav, aren't you going to eat your food?" Khushi asked halfway through her meal.
"Yeah I am, I'm making sure you eat food first."
Khushi rolled her eyes
"I'm not a child Arnav!"
"Well you act like one."
"I do Not!"
"Okay." Arnav said simply as he began to eat his food.
"What do you mean "Okay"?
"Nothing."
"No, you meant something!"
"Maybe i did..."
"Tell me, Tell me, Tell meee!" Khushi whinged.
"You just proved my point."
"grrr" Khushi growled.
Khushi and Arnav finished the rest of their meal in silence.
----Ten minutes later------
"Aaahhh" Khushi stretched her arms and yawned . "I'm sleepy!"
Khushi lifted up the arm rest and placed a pillow on her husband.
"Khushi, what are you doing?"
"I am going to sleep."
"Khushi, can't you sleep on the way to the hotel?? We're going to land soon. You won't be able to sleep tonight, if you go to sleep now."
Khushi snuggled into Arnav and closed her eyes.
"You didn't hear any of that did you?"
"Nope! Not a word.." Khushi smiled as she fell asleep on her husband.
"crazy girl..." He wrapped his arms around khushi, closed his eyes, and slowly drifted off to sleep.
i'm not sure whether this is any good or not, so if its not, sorry!
