Those phrases are from any number of books in the romance genre as well as FFs, including mine; thus, unless one's sole reference point in fiction is Susan Elizabeth Phillips and me, I fail to see what the direct link is. Hence, my question to the reader who posed it.

Now, if you were to ask after reading Love and Despair, "You watch a lot of Dawson's Creek, don't you?" then the answer would be a resounding, "Yes!!! I know all of Pacey's lines by heart!" 😉

Wow Devi a book...am so looking forward to it. Though I am sad that I will have to wait to read Shiv nd Gauri's story. But no matter, the fact that I will not have to depend on technology to do so is incentive enough. Am on an anti- tech week now as my laptop has gone for a toss nd have to depend on my phone for updates. So pls ignore typos...am typing blind here.

Mocking? hmm... I attempted to get you to clarify your question as it seemed somewhat broad in nature. When a question is raised about my writing that alludes to plagiarism of any sort (and you may say it's merely inspiration rather than plagiarism), particularly when 95% of the FFs written here are in similar styles, I would take the precaution to answer it in kind. I would hardly call that mocking. But maybe our definitions differ.

Since you quoted my post, I'm assuming that your comment was directed toward me. I was just asking you a question; it wasn't meant to be defensive or mocking. I don't quite get what you meant by mocking. I don't think any of us were mocking you. :/
