I know, I know... (ducking eggs and tomatoes), I have been quite negligent of this thread and have received PMs galore about the disappearance of part 1 of Ghost Orchid and the Blog. So, here's the deal...

I am trying to actually make my completed FFs into actual stand-alone stories (meaning, all the copyrighted material will have to come off) and edit them so that I can self-publish on Amazon or some similar entity. Ghost Orchid is the first on the list. For that reason, I will not be putting up any of the older parts on the web. If you have printed out any of my stories, I request you to keep it to yourself as distributing it without my permission or re-posting anywhere on the web would be copyright infringement, not to mention heinous. If any of you are interested in the books after they become available for purchase, I can keep you posted as to when that will actually all happen. My blog will reopen then to give you more information.

Well, now that that's covered, on to the important stuff: I will of course continue writing this story here so that my readers who have followed it thus far can see it to its conclusion. As another reader pointed out, we are almost to the place where I left off before and thus I need a bit more time to shape up the chapters before going forward. Give me until this weekend to do that.

You guys are great! Really! I don't tell you this enough, I know. Most of you have been with me since the days of Love and Despair and I am quite thankful and genuinely appreciative that I have a group of intelligent women as readers :)

Wow, D, congratulations!

When I first realised your blog and stories were gone, I concocted quite a few theories, ranging from you deciding to publish the stories (oh yes :) ) to death (lol, sorry). I am extremely happy it's the former and even more honoured to have been able to read your stories amongst a group of such wonderful people. It truly would not have been the same otherwise.

Looks like I will have to wait until Ghost Orchid is published to read it properly as I am too far behind now. I'm looking forward to being able to read it as a book instead. My only regret is not having finished REEL. I was around two or three chapters from the end, I think. But I guess there's some sort of twisted pleasure in having to wait even longer now - it goes well with the story itself 😆
