Riddhima woke up to see a beautiful morning. The sun rays were peeping through the window as the curtains were drawn neatly to a side. A small smile adorned her pretty face as she sat up on the bed and stretched. As soon as the memories of last night came back to her, the smile vanished as fast as it had appeared.

She looked around but didn't find him in the room. Obviously, screw his effort to make himself worthy of me! Must've gone for work leaving me back. She thought over the obvious and got off the bed but her feet didn't touch the floor beneath. She felt something soft. Roses?

She looked down and saw thousand of rose petals adorning the floor waiting to be graced by her beautiful feet. She smiled slightly and walked where the rose petals took her..to the living room. She didn't find him there either. Just as she was about to call out his name, she saw him appear from the kitchen with a tray in his hand. A Steaming breakfast awaited her.

"Oh! You're up! Already.." Armaan looked down disappointed.

"So you wanted me to sleep for the rest of my life? With no interruptions whatsoever?" She added as a taunt.

"Interruptions? What? NOO! Come sit."

He held her hand and dragged her to the couch, making her sit comfortably. She noticed the dark spots under his eyes. Was he serious when he said he was hurting without her? But today, even with those ugly dark circles, his face looked serene. Like he had won an award or something!

"Taste this. I cooked for you!"

"Armaan are you sure? You couldn't even put on the gas earlier."

"I know! But I've come a long way from there." Asad said softly.

Riddhima ignored his comment and tasted the pancake with cherry sauce.

"Mmm..this is actually not bad Armaan! Looks like the bitch taught you a lot!" She couldn't help but taunt him over and over again.

Armaan was deeply hurt by her comment. But he let it go, he deserved it.

"Okay so I've decided, we'll go to your favorite place for lunch and then go for a movie and then for a walk in the park and then for dinner and then a long drive and-"

"Armaan! Why are you doing this?" Riddhima said suddenly.

"Why am I doing this? Because I want you back. The real you! Not this woman who won't look at me ever!"

"I'm not changing Armaan. I've tried being a good wife, but apparently good doesn't work in your case."

"Riddhima you agreed to give me a chance! You can't snatch it back from me just because you think I can't get your forgiveness. You can't think that way about me without even letting me prove my innocence."

"Innocence? Really?" She raised her brows.

"Fine. Not innocence. But lemme just prove it to you that I truly am sorry! Gimme a chance Riddhima! Let me in! I promise I'd make you the most happy woman on earth."

Riddhima looked at his face and saw genuine hope and a certain desperation. She would try this. Maybe it would make a lot of things clear to them.

"Okay. But just today. After 12 am tonight, I make my final decision. Deal?"

"Deal." Armaan smiled.
