I had stared at the card with round eyes while an 'unbelievable' left my mouth of its own accord. Where on Earth did they get the idea that I was proud at their arrival? I was anything but proud!
This one this totally like Ashar!!!
I wanted to have a little chat with both my siblings but Dad refused to leave Asmara alone. He wouldn't even go to take a shower until mum threatened him that If he started smelling like he did when he got home from the kidnappers, she won't come near him for a week. Dad looked horrified on hearing this and ran to the bathroom, taking Mum's clothes with him in the hurry.
𤣠What Dhamki to give! I'm proud of Khushi!š no wonder he was horrified... one week away from his darling wife??!! NIGHTMARE for ASR... he needs are like oxygen... do you remember when Khushi went to buaji's place this morning how desperately and frantically he was looking for her?š
and taking mum's clothes?!š¤£
After Mum left for the kitchen, I quickly toddled to Asmara's pram. She gave me a sunny grin and I tried my best to put on an angry expression to intimidate her. After all, I was her big brother but she seemed quite unfazed.
Darling, she's your sis... has the same genes and all... so how can she be intimidated by her brother?! would you have been?š
Asmara: Hey there, dude.
Ashar: Its Ashar Singh Raizada to you, kid. Show your elders some respect.
Respect did he say?! how old are you darling?š
Asmara: Hey, take it easy, dude! So you are my big brother now, huh?
Ashar: Guess I am. So kid, How are you finding the residents of Shantivan?
Asmara: Don't kid me! I'm a week old now. And since you ask, Everyone seems nice! Especially Mum and Dad.
Ashar: They are My Mum and Dad! Not yours!
Asmara: Well, Now they're my Mum and Dad too. I can't call them 'Mr. What The' and 'Mrs. Pom Pom' for the rest of my life, can I?
these kids are sooo smart i tell you... they didn't even need a week to figure out their mam and dad did they?
Ashar: Hmmm... Guess you're right kid. So, I've heard you're very similiar to Mum... Not only in the looks department but in habits too!
Asmara: Really? How come?
Ashar: Well, I heard the first thing you did when you came into this world was to cry for no reason and Mum's being doing the same for nine months or should I say, all along her "Iss Halat Me" Period! Thank God that period's over now!
"iss halat mein" period?!š seriously pareshaan ho gaya hoga bechara... considering uski mum aise bhi kam drama nahi karti..." iss halat mein" period mein to i don't even want to start imagining her tantrumsš
Asmara: Hey dude! I don't know what you're talking about but every baby has to cry! I'm sure you did too!
Ashar: No, I didn't!
Asmara: Of Course you won't admit it! You probably wetted your bed at night too.
Ashar: I never did that! The bed wetted itself in the fear of Ashar Singh Raizada.
Ashar will stay Ashar won't he?!š
Asmara: Yeah, yeah sure dude! I ain't feeling for your tricks.
Just then, Dad came out of the bathroom and we had to end our conversation but I have to admit, this Asmara is one smart kid.
Okay I totally loved the convo! Asmara calling him dude instead of bhai was totally what ASR's daughter would have done...ā¤ļø

Finally got a chance to speak to Anser when Akash Chacho was busy chasing my dad and Payal Mausi was busy doing some 'Chicken Kaari' work. I didn't get it. Chicken Kaari sounds like a dish and Payal Mausi was sitting with a piece of cloth and a needle. I didn't ponder too much over that. A lady who can cry 22 and a half hours a day can do anything!
šš¼
I saw Anser on the bed and went to him. His eyes got all big with wonder and awe when he saw me and a 'Bhai' escaped his lips.
Ashar: Hello there, kid!
Anser: [In an awed voice] Bhai!
Ashar: Don't Bhai me! So tell me, how are you finding your Mum and Dad?
Anser: They're ok!
Ashar: Ok? Your Mum has spend half her life crying and you find it ok?
You thould be thankful darling that payal isn't your sis!š
Anser: Bhai, What can I do, bhai? Crying comes naturally to us!
Ashar: What the? How?
Anser: Well, I've got it from my mother and she got it from her mother. You must have noticed how much Naani cries too!
Ashar: Ohhh! You're Right! But I'm gonna stop this. Don't want the next generation to spend their life crying, do we? So Next time, when you cry you won't be allowed to call me 'Bhai' for a day!
Seriously he's thretening a kid?! but sahi hai... shouldn't let bad habits developš
Anser: No Bhai! Please don't. I can't live without saying Bhai! Its in my genes, bhai.
Ashar: Well then don't cry! Simple as that.
I felt bad later on for talking to Anser like that. But I'm his big brother! I've to teach him things that his parents can't.

Dad spends half his day playing with Asmara. I didn't know he was capable of loving so many people! Mum, his laptop, Anjali Bua, his laptop, Me, bluetooth, his laptop, plants, his laptop and Asmara too now? Wow!
yayyy! you accomodated the line!
Asmara is a full dramaqueen like Mum. Anything not done according to her, she cries and poor Dad loses his head seeing her cry. I don't know how mum and dad can be so stupid! Can't they see she's not actually crying cos no tears escape her eyes? Unbelievable!
she knows how to keep things in her control! Laad Governer aur dramaqueen ka combo hai... ofcourse she'll know how to wrap people around her pinky fingerš
Dad has started taking days off from work to be with Asmara and its freaking me out. Dad already spent a lot of many on getting Asmara manufactured, if he continues being so careless about his office too, I'm afraid we'll end up on the road and then Dad won't have money to put petrol in his SUV and it'll end up becoming like the rusty old helicopter on the grounds of Sheesh Mahal! I'm so scared! Please think of me Dad! I've an image to maintain in front of Sarah!
good gracious! atleast someone remembers that helicopter... š
and you don't need to worry love...
even without working everyday... you'll have ample things and money to flaunt everydayš

OK... so maybe i read wrong... are you seriously planning to end the series?!š
have you forgotten that Ashar's my love? you can't put an end to my dates with him... that'll be so mean!š
OK... how about a deal... you relax for a while... no pressure of updating... i'll assume ashar's on vacation with his family and i can't meet him (or maybe you can write something about that... you know super excited mom... ashar and asmara both rolling their eyes... or something..)... and then when you get your ideas back... you can start updating again?!
