"Four days. Ahh!!!Only four days left Mayank Sharma and then you'll have to share this room with your wife Mrs. Nupur Sharma, get ready for the most toughest expedition of your life as Nupur is going to give you tough time"

His hand was still on knob when he smiled inwardly and pushing the door he slipped inside his room, it was another hectic day but he didn't forget to call Nupur for once in a day, after that day everything was going quite smooth between them although still the differences of opinions and thinking was still same but somehow it didn't lead them towards huge tiff'

After taking quick shower and slipping into his trouser and shirt he finally sank into bed crawling himself under the cover and closed his eyes to taking some sleep but the sound of bell didn't let him to close his eyes he sighed deeply forwarding his hand and fetch his mobile he could guess at that time of night who could disturb his sleep except Her..

"Maya..."

"I knew who else except you would call me at this time of night. have you checked time?"

Her mouth dropped and her words struck into her throat as Mayank's taunting voice hit with her ear drums, anger flushed across her face, He can't change ever she muttered under her breath and deliberately shot up her angry look towards a clock hanging on a wall, '12:15' a whispered died in her mouth as realization poked into her mind that it was quite late night, how much he got tired now a days due to working till late night she knew very well he 'd told her often even Shilpa aunty had told her in their last conversation on phone in the morning that he is too much busy in his work that he does not taking proper sleep and skips his lunch and for the first time she realized his anger was justified, she could talk to him in the morning when she knew he must be sleeping at this time.

"I am sorry, I shouldn't have disturbed you at this time" her voice came out so softly that for a second Mayank jaw dropped in shock unable to believe on his ears that these words had came out from Nupur's mouth.

"Nupur didn't you say these words in anger?"he almost asked in unbelieving tone quickly removing the cover aside as amusement seemed to drain the tension from his body.

She opened her mouth to make some suitably teasing remark but she let the idea drop biting her lower lip to hide her smile "No"

"You're unpredictable!"He suppressed smile on his lips shaking his head yes today soon to be Mrs.Sharma had proved him wrong for the first time as he'd not expected her apology after his sarcastic ,angry remark.

"In what way?" she said playing along with him enjoying his unbelieving tone.

"Well, I almost thought you were going to burst out on me in anger for giving you sarcastic remark. Instead,you apology to me. Isn't a miracle." he chuckled leaning back against the pillow. A smile touched the corners of her sensual lips as she heard his audible smile..

"Well Mr.Sharma you better to not judge me next time"

She smiled just as teasing back determined to keep the environment tender and breezy., "I am happy you proved me wrong" he admitted and his voice came out hoarsely, her heart fluttered beating countless time in just few second, her face flushed and a deep silence prevailed in atmosphere, he didn't know this conversation would be turn out like this way but the fact that now he was enjoying their conversation, he really liked the way Nupur tried to understand him, her small care-filled gesture had filled his heart with soft ,tender feelings towards her that he could not help but smiling thinking about that innocent girl who was going to be his wife, his life partner after few days.

"Ermm!!!you take rest, I'll call you in the morning, bye"

She expelled a quick deep breath trying to control her unstable heart beat and spoke tenderly suppressing a smile against her heart desire which was saying her not to close this conversation. "Nupur!!!"

His soft voice poked into her scattered thoughts when she about to cut the call. "hmm" she just could barely whisper and her heart thud again at his soft voice, "you still didn't tell me why you called me?"

A lamp of tenderness swelled in Mayank's voice as he spoke, "Nothing important, it was just tomorrow I've to go to buy my wedding dress and I wanted you to..'"she stopped in mid way hesitantly in effort to not to make him angry at her silly request.

"I'll be there at 5"

Her jaw dropped in amusement as his words registered in her mind, her heart started to pound and her cheeks flushed "and please don't take too much time in getting ready"

His voice came out mixture of request and irritation remembering their last time meeting when she took almost an hour to come down the stairs and Nupur laughed out imagining irritating expressions on his face saying those words, "ok Mr.Sharma,I'll be ready on time" she chuckled and taking paused a bit spoke again.

"bye"

"Bye"he smiled and kept his mobile aside and slipped into covers, stretching his hand he switched off the table lamp while a smile still playing on his lips, his head sank against the pillow .

I don't think Marriage is that much tough expedition as I thought before, my soon to be wife is quite understanding, hmm very beautiful and a shy girl and sweet too, he added further in compliments list, he shook his head and closed his eyes drifting to a content sleep after a hectic working day..

While other hand Nupur sank into pillow smiling happily, Mayank's words still echoing in her mind, and asusual the entire night she'd spent in dreaming about him.
