I think Mayank is right at his place.How ca he say her those three magical words when he does not feel in such way for her.I think he is afraid to give her false hope because then Nupur may expect more from him.We can't force someone to love.It just happens.

Bt on the other hand Nupur is very sensitive .She wants to listen those three words from him.

Bt in the last part we saw Mayank worried for her.It shows there r some sparks of love in Mayank.
