Chapter 4

Arnav observed Mr. Random Guy as he took the third round of Oval Maidan*

He had a smile on his face as he recalled last night's event

"Why are you sleeping?"

"I am a human and normal human beings sleep during the night"

"Not all normal human beings sleep during the night. Haven't you have had enough experience to understand that?" questioned Arnav with a smirk

"Haan. But I want to sleep. I have to wake up early tomorrow and you too have office"

"It's a Sunday tomorrow Khushi. Remember I don't work on Sundays anymore? May be you are so deprived that you can't think properly now" continued Arnav smirking

How I wish I could get that smirk off his face thought Khushi. "I am not deprived and I don't know what you are talking about"

"Achcha?"

"Let me sleep"

"I never stopped you"

"Laad Governor what does he think of himself? First he shamelessly refuses to help my relative and he expects returns from me. No way. But I miss him. Miss him. No way. I don't miss him. Why should I miss him? He didn't even give me an explanation that night and directly went off to sleep. Rakshas''."

"I heard all of that"

"Haan toh? Hum ne kuch galat kaha kya?"

"Yes"

"Kya?"

"I agree that the Laad Governor and the Rakshas part is true but I didn't refuse to help your relative. I did help him, didn't I?

"But you refused to continue with your help"

"That is not true either"

"Don't lie. I heard you talking on the phone that night with Random bhaiyya"

"So how did you reach the conclusion that I refused to teach him anymore?"

"You told him not to come on either Wednesday or Saturday"

"So you thought I will not teach him anymore?" said Arnav thoroughly enjoying the conversation

"Yes"

"I didn't refuse him. In fact I sent him an SMS to meet me tomorrow at 7 a.m."

"Kya?"

"Do you want me to repeat? You know I don't like to repeat"

"To aap ne hum se jhooth khu bola?"

"Main ne tum se kuch bhi nahi kaha"

"He was troubling me all these days so that he can have his share of enjoyment and kept me deprived?" muttered Khushi

"So you agree that you are deprived?"

"I hate you"
"I love you too. Come let's sleep"

"I thought you didn't want to sleep tonight? questioned Khushi with mischief in her eyes and sat on the bed next to Arnav. "I am done with five rounds. Now can you please tell me why did you make me knead dough for three days and make me take five rounds?

"To make sure your grip becomes strong"

"You know I don't like to repeat myself"

"But how does kneading the dough help me have a stronger grip? Why will I require a stronger grip?

"You will require a really strong grip. Trust me."

"So that the girl doesn't slip away?"

"Yes"

"But don't you think it's wrong to grip her if she wants to leave?"

"Yes"

"So why should I do something wrong with a girl if I want her to fall in love with me?"

"Doing wrong things attracts attention"

"She will hate me"

"Yes"

"Do you think all this is a joke?"

"No"

"Can you please speak a little more?"

"If she hates you, she will constantly think about you."

"But if she likes me, she will still think about me, wont she?"

"We have to make extra efforts to make anyone like us. But hating people is much easier."

"But that means I am actually making extra efforts to make someone hate me. I am confused."

"That means you are on the right path. The guy has to be confused for at least 250 + episodes."

"Episodes?"

"Never mind"

"Can I sit now?"

"I never stopped you."

"Why did you make me take five rounds?"

"To see how fast you run"

"How does that help?"

"O it helps a lot. You have to experience it to believe it. Practice running everyday"

"OK as you say."

"What is your favourite colour on a girl?"

Mr. Random Guy looked down and started blushing

"Stop blushing and answer!"

"I don't know"

"You don't know!" said Arnav shocked but then his mind started working fast and he told him

"Don't meet me until you know what your favourite colour on a girl is"

With that Arnav Singh Raizada marched away from there leaving a still blushing Random Guy behind

*I know I know Oval Maidan is in Mumbai. But I like that place so much that I had to include it here. Just imagine Oval Maidan in Delhi or ArHi in Mumbai
