Chapter7:

Days passed away and KriYaansh could hardly meet as Rey was busy with his work and Kria tried to concentrate on her project that has to be executed really soon.

One day they had a lunch meeting with the investors. Kria thought why it had to be a lunch meeting and she again was reminded of the day when she had stormed into his cabin for not having his lunch on time and then the fun they had and his mischievous and romantic desert. The thought itself made her blush. She started thinking how would his lips taste like? How would it feel like to serve him his desert, to have her first kiss?

Was he really planning to get that task completed that couldn't happen that day because of his PA and the work load? No he can't do this, that too infront of the investors and the other people around. He can't do that in public. I don't want to face embarrassment due to a lip lock that too in public attracting everyone's attention to us. Yes!! I do like to be the centre of attraction but this is not done. My first kiss and that too in public. NO!! NEVER EVER!!

She heard a knock at her door, it was her dad. She got up from her bed, sat straight and welcomed her dad with a smile curved on her lips.

She had a convo whether Kria wants to meet the family of the guy who she was suppose to meet when she accidentally was caught up with Rey and he couldn't catch her up due to his silly meetings. As he is in abroad for his some business plans, so it's not possible for them to meet

*she sighed she didn't want to meet any guy right now she just wanted to focus on the two main things in her life i.e. her dream project and her relationship with Rey, that was suppose to be a secret relationship.*

R: Kria, please just do it for me, please.

K: but Rey why do we need to hide it from everyone?

R: have you forgotten that we are not ordinary people. We belong to the well recognized families and this news if broken infront of anyone will definitely attract media's attention and I am damn sure you are not willing to face those questions from them and then answering them on the nation television is the last option you are left with. And this indeed will only create problems for us nothing else. And first let us both be very sure of our feelings and then we can break the news to our family. Anyways we have to achieve a lot before that, right? Toh lets not reveal it to anyone right now.

My dad was still going on and he stated that I had to meet his family so that I get to know them well. He even said that it would only be a formal meet like the ones with other friends of my dad, to which I had to agree.

My dad was at the door step when he turned to me and said, "Hope you have invited your friends and associates to the party tonight."

"Dad actually I haven't but I'll give them a call now. But will you please tell me what this party is for? I can't just invite everyone saying I don't even know about why the party is arranged." I tried to ask reason why the party was kept but he gave me the same reason.

"Beta, surprise hai. Bata diya toh surprise kya reh jaayega?" he gave the same lame excuses and left making me more restless.

I looked at the wall clock and saw the time, I was getting late for that meeting. I had to rush or lese I might get late and he hates late comers.

I somehow moved out of the hose and started my car. I had just reached a lane nearby but it came to a halt. DAMNIT!!! This had to happen today itself. I tried to start my car once again but no use and to add to my bad luck; today there is no vehicle to be seen on the road. Since there is a strike, public transports strike toh no chance to hire a cab or something.

I felt someone's gaze on me, the same way I did since last few day as if someone's following me. Well I felt so many a times when I was out but just ignored it and didn't tell anyone about it.

But how can I rely on Mumbai's weather conditions? It started RAINING. Well not a big deal in Mumbai, rains can even be witnessed in the month of February here.

I tried to take the shed of a tree. After some time I heard a car screech.

There was a guy in the car staring at the girl and asked, "hey sexy, want a lift?"

She just got into the car and said, "hottie, I want to go to this place." Showing him the address of the place where she was supposed to reach in sometime.

They reached the place and she got off murmuring a thank you and went in side in a hurry.

There Rey was waiting for her. As soon as she reached the conference hall, she found him to be sitting restlessly all alone. They exchanged glances and taking advantage of the situation Rey just pecked her and said, "jaan, you don't need to keep impressing me everyday." To which she just replied, "This super special favor is not for you." Rey asked, "Do you wanna impress that investor or what?"

The investor joined them and the two were disturbed. To Kria's surprise it was none other than the one who just gave her the lift. In a while even others joined them. Rey noticed Kria being shocked to see the investor and shook her to bring her to the reality.

She narrated the story and he as usual got hyper. But later on it was revealed that the guy was Aarav Chopra, her best friend and they both knew each other since a long time, which was enough to calm Rey.

Aarav chopra:

Rey and Aarav got into an argument which was turning into a verbal fight. Kria was getting irritated, she couldn't handle it anymore so she got up from her place and started walking to the door which didn't get unnoticed by the two boys and the hurriedly approached her.

R: Kria, where are you going? And that too you are leaving the discussion in the middle?

A: forget about the meeting you can't leave your best friend, when we are meeting after such a long time.

K: great you guys at least remember that I too exist? (She said raising her eyebrow to which the boys realized what she meant and looked down)

K: better you guys sort out the differences between you two or else I won't talk to you. And you have to do this before coming for the party tonight at my place. As I don't want my best friend and boy (but she didn't complete her statement) and my partner at work, so better sort it out.

Saying this she dashed out of the conference hall leaving the boys disappointed.
