Chapter 4:The Face Off

Gautam: Nahi Smriti Kriya galti nahi humare pyaar ki nishani hai. Meh ne humesha tumse hi pyaar kiya pae kismat ne humesha humare sath galat kiya.

Meri sabse badhi galti thi tumhe jana dena. Agar meh tumhe rook leta toh aaj meh tum aur humari beti khush hote.

Smriti: Aur Shruti ka kya Gautam, kya woh khushi nahi deserve karti. Mana ki aapne usse kabhi pyaar nahi kiya par woh aapki patni hai. Mana ki shadi aapne parivaar ke dabaav meh aakar ki thi. Woh bahut acchi ensaan thi aur woh sach much aap se bahut pyaar karti hai. Agar usse pata chala ki aap yaha hai toh usse kise lagega.

Gautam: Smriti woh mujse pyaar karti hai nahi thi.

Aur mujhe yahaa dekhkar woh khush hogi.Bahut khush

Smriti: Thi, dekhkar aap ye kya bolreheho kya Shruti yahaa aane wali hai Gautam.

Gautam: Woh yahaa hai Smriti aur humari bate bhi sun rahi hai

Smriti: Eskaa matlab woh...

Gautam Rai Prakash's late wife and Sharon's mom.

She was a beautiful woman hailing from a business class family and a wonderful person. She was multi talented business woman. Truly a woman of substance.

Okay but her anger could move mountains. Now you know where Sharon go her anger from.

Smriti: So how is your daughter'

Gautam: Replica of her mother except that she dances

Kriya was standing not to far away. She had hear the entire conversation.

Kriya to herself thought So that's who I am a mistake said her mind. Or maybe no I am the gift of their love said her heart.

Seeing her parents who were looking at each other with affection.

Kriya didn't know what to do. Her mind and heart were against each other as if her heart and mind were fighting an unseen battle causing her lot of turmoil. A face off between her heart and mind.

Kriya was able to understand their feeling because she was suffering the same thing and she decided if her mother wanted to be with her dad she would gladly accept the decision.

She wondered if all this wouldn't happen I would never have understood my parents and probably be against them being together. Maybe my suffering was necessary for them to reunite.

She let her Heart win this face off (battle)

Dil had won this face off

Then suddenly she came before them and announced her decision. Both were in tears and hugged their daughter.

Today her family was complete was what she thought..

Suddenly a name came to her mind SHARON

Would Sharon agree to this

Kriya(Turning towards Gautam she asked): Uncle'.

I mean Dad'..Aadat lagne ke liye thoda time lagega

Gautam: I don't you calling me anything but thankyou

Saying so he kissed her fore head expressing how much her calling him dad meant to him.

Kriya: Woh ''

Gautam: Pucho beta aap kya poochna chahati ho...

Kriya was a little shocked how he had known the she wanted to ask something but then she thought to herself that he was her dad after all maybe just like mom he also could interpret her thoughts

Kriya: Sharon Does she know about this'.

Gautam surprised: No she doesn't but how do you know aboutSharon

Smriti with a questioning look: You know her

Kriya: Mom you know her too. She came to our house with everyone, she wore a green dress and came out from my room with swayam. Arre I told you she is the cultural secretary of our college.

Smriti: (remembered ) She was Sharon

Gautam: This is unbelievable you studied in St. Louis in Mumbai...He Smiled and said

Gautam(all of a sudden): Smriti I fogot to tell u an important thing

Smriti: What?

Gautam(smirked): You have become fat ….

Smriti: Okay so is that you're your important thing..

She came to her jhansi ki raani form and started throwing stuff at him

(Red alert: Before calling any girl or woman fat please book a hospital room you will need it for sure)

Gautam was used to this so he easily dodged

Kriya was dumbstruck by this sudden change in the environment. They were fighting like kids and tears rolled down her eyes it was like heaven for her.

Agar toote phoote pots ko ingnore kar do toh

Kriya shouted : What the hell, Stop it

Aap dono bache nahi ho……

Both wer take aback and stood silently as though there were kids and kriya the headmistress

Par meh hu saying so she threw the pillows at her parents and all the three burst out laughing…..

Threw and dodged things as though there were playing some dodging game.

Rhutvic who stood near the door seeing this smiled and said to himself wah aaj lagta hai meh phir se 5^th grade meh pahuch gaya……Not bad but CEO se 5^th grade tak ka safar kitna mushkil hai ……….

Well saying sooo

Rhutvic shouting: Apne bestii ko tum log akela chodhdoge…and walked towards them to join them………..

Gautam: clearing his throat in shudh hindi

Kripaya parivaric vishayo meh archan mat kijeye

Everyone burst out laughing to that sentence

Rhutvic: Ha ha ruk tujhe family bonding sekhata huu…

Saying so he trew water on gautam

Ab bol mazza aaya

Everyone laughed

Gautam: Maaf karde mere baai aapse pagga leneki hum sapne meh bhi nahi sochenge…

Kriya took two steps back and looked around her. S he wished that their family could always be together like this.She repeated her fathers words.
