Leaving you behind Part 11

The next day in college Arnav noticed how Khushi had changed seats and was a bit shocked to see that, especially after what had happened last night.

Khushi knew that Arnav would be hurt by this action of hers but it was best to avoid him, maybe he would understand' maybe he would learn to end up hating her instead of loving her. She wiped the tear that was threatening to fall and tried to focus on the lesson.

After the bell rang Khushi quickly took Anjali's hand and walked out of the class, avoiding any contact with Arnav.

Anjali was a bit shocked by this, she had thought everything would be okay now, why was Khushi avoiding Arnav' didn't she feel the same for Arnav.

Arnav was now getting highly irritated and caught up to Khushi and took her hand from Anjali excusing himself and dragged Khushi to a corner not very visible to others.

Khushi all the while tried to take her hand away from Arnavs grip but it was useless as Arnav held her wrist too tightly.

Arnav after making sure that no one was looking pinned Khushi to the wall. Khushi looked up at Arnav with tears in her eyes still trying to escape. Arnav noticed how she was struggling and trying to get away from him, which made him angrier.

Arnav: What the hell is your problem Khushi? Why are you avoiding me?

Khushi knew that the best way she could get out of this was by acting cold.

Khushi: That's none of your business!

Arnav sensed Khushi's cold and rude tone and held her wrists even more tightly.

Arnav: IT IS MY GOD DAMN BUSINESS!!!

Khushi: Arnav just let me go!

Arnav: Not until you don't tell me what is wrong!

Arnav now softened his tone as he realised shouting would do no good.

Arnav: Please Khushi tell me' after yesterday I thought you also felt for me, don't you love me?

Khushi felt herself break from the inside and with all the worlds strength replied in the same cold voice as she spoke before.

Khushi: No.

That one word was enough for Arnav to step back in disbelief' he couldn't believe he had fallen so badly and been broken in one split second.

Arnav: I don't need any more from you. I've got my answer' you can go now' I won't stop you.

Khushi looked at Arnav with a painful face, but made sure not show too much concern as she nodded her head at him before walking away leaving a broken Arnav.

Arnav punched the wall in anger and hurt' he couldn't believe what had happened to him just now' how could he be so stupid to let a feeling such as love even affect him.

Arnav (thought): Khushi Kumari Gupta what you feel for me does not affect me anymore' You messed with the wrong person' and now you will pay.

Khushi walked past Anjali with tears streaming down her face, not caring about anyone or anything' she didn't care where she went and what happened to her now' she had done something that she would never forgive herself for' she deserved nothing but pain' only pain' she was ready to face any wrath from Arnav, and she knew she would get it. Khushi walked out of college and started to walk down the road not knowing or caring where she was going.

Anjali saw Khushi walk past her with a tear stained and hurt face, and was about to follow her when she saw Arnav come in front of her eyes with a very cold expression on his face' she couldn't understand what had happened in a matter of one night to make Khushi change so much' and what had just taken place for the two to split up and go separate ways' she had to find out.

Arnav walked up to Anjali and told her he was taking the car and going home and asked her if she wanted to come or not. Not getting as answer he asked again.

Arnav: Anji are you coming or not?

Anjali: Chotte' Where did Khushi go?

Arnav tightened his fist hearing Khushi's name and replied in a very ruthless manner.

Arnav: I don't give a damn where she went!!

Anjali flinched hearing the cold tone of her brother' ever since Khushi had entered his life he had stopped being so ruthless and cold, in fact he had become a completely different person' but now what had happened to make him turn back to the ruthless person he was again.

Anjali: Arnav' what is wrong with you? I thought you loved her?

Arnav: LOVED!! Not anymore!

Anjali: Aisa kya hogaya?

Arnav: MERI AANKHEIN KHUL GAYE!!!

Anjali put her hand on her brother's shoulder and tried to calm him down.

Anjali: I don't know what has happened' but for humanities sake we need to find out if Khushi is okay or not.

Arnav looked away in a cold manner' but deep down he also wanted to know if she was okay' however much he hated her, his love for her was too much.

Arnav: Well call her then' she does have a phone.

Anjali pulled out her phone and dialled Khushi's number, the phone kept ringing.

Anjali: She's not picking up!

Arnavs heart began to beat terribly fast hearing that, but didn't let it affect his expressions.

Arnav: Whatever Anji, it's probably on silent.

Anjali: No its not' I remember her phone ringing in the morning.

Arnav was now extremely worried but then his ego kept reminding him what she had done to him.

Arnav: Look Anji' she's probably fine' now are you coming or not!?

Anjali knew that right now Arnav was not going to listen to her' he was too hurt to understand anything.

Later in the afternoon, the bell rang at Raizada residence.

Anjali opened the door to see Khushi's parents stand at the door. As soon as she saw their worried face, she knew that her worst fear had become true

Garima: Anjali bitiya' Khushi hasn't returned home yet!!

Arnav who had come to check who was at the door, heard Khushi's mother say the exact words that he feared of... Khushi had not returned home yet!! Oh God' Where was she then?

Okay so that was that...I'm not quite sure what reactions i'm gonna get from you all... i know its very depressing, but guys i am feeling very low and when i feel low i can only write depressing things haha... So from here the story will get a little intense.
