Last two days have been the altering days of her life. Mission happiness had unquestionably made an impact on her mind in a constructive way. She was sitting near the window enveloping the tender morning sunrays coming from the window of her room. Each ray was igniting her each cell with a new energy and after so many years she once again found herself willing to go ahead to live her day, her life.
Ring Ring her phone buzzed. She picked up and said, " hello.."
" Hey babes, whats up??", Rey asked from the other side.
" Well nothing much. You tell.."
" Well Sharon, we have a task on our plate. We have to organize Fresher's party."
" Oh Yes..How could I forget''We need to have a meeting."
" Right Sharon. so I have arranged a meet in rehearsal hall at 10.30 but before that you need to go and check out the new prop and other stuff we asked for footloose. They were delivered in college yesterday'you just take a look. I have told swayam to accompany you. Is that cool with you??"
" Cool with me'I will check it. Bye"
She geared herself and got ready for college.
She was standing outside the Store room of college waiting for Swayam to come. He was full 10 minutes late. It was already 10.10 and Rey's meeting was schedule at 10.30. She took a final glance at the corridor and seeing no sign of him she decided to do the checking alone.
The store room is such a mess she thought. It was very difficult to walk because all the props and costumes they used till now were just dumped here. Avoiding every possible obstacle she moved ahead and reached the spot where the new props were kept. She checked all the items and crossed them on her list. She was done with the checking and made her way back to the door.
Swayam was late and he knew that Sharon right now would be like a angry tigress eager to pounce on him. He ran as fast as could towards the store room.And with the same speed he entered the room only to hit Sharon who was making her way back toward the door.
Sharon lost her balance and was going to fall. She tried to hold swayam shirt for support but fortunately fall was inevitable and she fell with swayam on top of her.
He was still unable to understand what happened when he saw her eyes tightly closed and her hands clutching his shirt. She slowly opened her eyes only to gaze into his brown eyes. All she could see was guilt and pain in his eyes. They were sort of dead'lost their charm and this is all just because of her she thought.
And still gazing deep down in his eyes she without thinking said, " Sorry."
On the other hand he was doing what he always liked to do to stare in her eyes. Her eyes were the only medium through which he could understand her .They would always speak to him and he only trusted her eyes because they would never lie to him unlike her mouth on which she had full control. But today there was somethings else her eyes were trying to say. The pain they poured till now was a bit less and their was something else which they were trying to convey to him.
" No Sharon, I am sorry'for being late, for making you fall, and for that day'I never meant it ..", he said still looking in her eyes trying to see all the signs they were showing. When he said sorry her eyes got flooded with the same love which he left for her only difference was she was not ready to accept it. He knew for once that she had accepted his apology because her eyes clearly showed it.
" Thanks", he said.
" for what???"
" for accepting my apology."
" And how do you conclude this.."
" Your eyes'", saying so he wiped the tear who was making it's way out of her eyes.
She knew it if they would continue like this she wont be able to control herself and she signaled him to get up with her eyes. He obeyed and got up and gave her support to get up.
She smiled at him and said, " Thanks Swayam."
" For what??"
"For everything."
When she said this a smiled came on his lips and she knew that she could do anything in this world to keep that smile playing on his lips.
Taking a last glance at him she ran out because she knew once in a blue moon like today she had no control over herself.
The days passed with each day Sharon trying to change and yes she was enjoying it.
She no longer got irritated of viha constant kagu and babu instead she was proud of them because they did what they like without carrying about outside world.
One day she even gave lift to bharat in her car. He was bit hesitant but when she forced him sort of order him he agreed.
She even agreed to perform with the weaklings for the freshers party.
And swayam and her equation changed with each passing day. She no longer shouted at him and blamed him for anything.
With each passing day Sharon was bringing about a constructive change in her life.
But her change was taken in a wrong way by Swayam and Rey. One day while arranging the stage for party she overheard Rey telling swayam to propose her and swayam agreed to that.
She was shocked and suddenly everything seemed to be on hold. Swayam was going to propose her but she wanted more time to accept his love. She Knew if he proposed her she would say no but her eyes they would betray her. She started panicking. What is she suppose to do she thought.
She just completed her work and rushed home. She entered her house when she heard somebody in kitchen . She went inside and her eyes got wide in shock to see him infront of her'.
