Arnav took out his phone and put on a song.

He put his phone on the table. There was a little bit of an area where the both of them could just stand. The atmosphere was perfect. The reflection of them in the candles lights was driving them insane. The soft scent of roses was mesmerizing. The hand he was holding of hers, he put on his shoulder. She looked down shyly. He very slowly slid both of his hands around her waist. Slowly and gently pulling her closer. She raised her other hand and placed it on his other shoulder. They started to sway side to side. Very gently and very slowly. He leaned his head towards her ear.
Arnav: khushi. Please look at me. Please. Mujhe tumhari aankhain dakh ni hain. He moved his head back. She blushed. Very gradually she raised her eyes to meet his loving gaze. The dim reflection of the candles added a special shine to her big eyes. His eyes spoke volumes. She saw love, passion, desire, purity, comfort and warmth in his eyes. His eyes reflected what was in his heart. And in his heart, was her. Only her. They just stared at each other. With each sway, they would get a bit closer. And closer.. and closer. His heart was beating faster. He was not able to control much right now. He closed his eyes. And gently placed his forehead against hers. She closed her eyes. He closed his. Both of their hearts beating together. This moment was theirs. He moved his face a bit so that their noses gently touched each others. Their heart beats started to gradually increase. He rubbed his nose back and forth against her. Her mouth was closed. So was his. They could feel the warmth of the air from their noses on each other. Both took deep deep breathes. Cherishing ever second. When his nose was a bit back. He softly whispered.
Arnav: thank you for making this birthday my most memorable one. She smiled. She quietly whispered.
Khushi: your welcome. He slid his hands from around her waist to a bit more of towards her back. Bringing them closer. He moved his head back.
Arnav: waisay khushi... you still owe me something. Khushi opened her eyes and looked at him curiously. Eye brows furrowed. Arnav chuckled. He leaned into her ear and started to whisper.
Arnav: during the picnic. Under the bridge. Her eyes widened. Her heart skipped a beat. She closed her eyes. And sucked in her bottom lip. Her slowly slid her lip out and kept her mouth shut. She looked down. Arnav slowly and teasingly rubbed his cheek against hers. The feeling of the ruble and goti against her smooth skin tickled her. She giggled. But quickly closed her mouth tightly again. She gulped. He moved his head back. He smirked. He leaned into her cheek. He first touched the tip of his nose on her cheek and teased her by rubbing it side to side. He then placed his lips on her cheek. She smiled. The strong bristles from his goti were tickling her cheek. She very slowly started to turn her head towards him not knowing that he would be moving his head a bit back. Unknowlingly the sides of their lips gently slid against each other. Both of their eyes widened. Breathing stopped. Both gulped. Hearts skipped a beat. He moved his head a bit back. And looked into her eyes. She looked at his. Both were shocked. They did know how to react or respond. He looked at her lips. Her mouth was shut. His lips were parted. She could see the desire he had in his eyes as he stared her lips. She felt the same. He looked into her eyes.. she slowly slid her hands from his chest to a bit on top to his shoulders. Arnav sensed this. He was a bit confused. Was she allowing them to get closer.
Khushi had many thought run through her mind. He was always there for her. Never asked for anything. And he never will. She knew this much. He always showered his love and support. He respected her, treated her with dignity. Her parents loved him. They called him their own son. He has always proven the depths of his love for her. This time, it was khushi's turn to prove hers.
arnav's eyes: are you sure? His eyes brows slightly furrowed. She looked down. Then slowly raised her eyes and smiled. Their hearts were beating faster and faster. He leaned in. she closed her eyes. Her mouth still closed. Her chest heaving. She gulped. His nose touched hers. And slid to one side. Their lips inches centimeters apart. His heart was racing. Hers was not under her control. The warm air coming from her nose was crashing on his lips. He gulped. Hessitantly he whispered. The quivering in his voice was showing how nervous he was. He closed his eyes. He was never wrong in reading her eyes or her hints. But this was something else.
Arnav: khushi...mmm..mmayyy. I? He licked his lips. The hot air from his breath crashed against her lips. Were they ready for this?
Khushi gulped. Arnav's heart was beating uncontrollably. If she said no, then he would have jeapordized their entire relationship. If she said yes, then were they ready to take it to the next level.
His breathing was irregular. She could hear his breathes shaking. She closed her eyes. He never asked her for anything. He always made her and her feelings their priority. He surpassed any expectations that anyone could ever have from him. Only because he truly loved her. And she loved him. But who was she to tell him. She felt shy. Her cheeks started to turn red. Their warmth penetrated her skin and could be felt by him. She very slowly parted her lips and with the escape of a breath, she sighed. A huge sigh. Making the sound of a very very quiet haan. He ends of his lips curved, allowing him to give a soft and small smile.
He slid right hand more along her back and stretched out his fingers. Allowing his hand to more properly hold onto her. He slid his right hand up her back a bit. Until his thumb touched her bare back. She gently slid her hands from his shoulder towards his neck. Once at the bottom of his neck, she slid her hands back. Now her fingers touched the bare skin on the back of his neck. He felt a shiver down his spine. He then brought his left hand up and gently caressed her right cheek. His fingers behind her ear and along the side of her neck. His thumb softly rubbed the smooth skin on her cheek. They were not ready. All that remained was touching the tenderness of others lips. Something still stopped him. He didnt know what. A thought kept on running through his mind. Right now, the atmosphere and everything was right. Meant for them to give their relationship a name. But there would be no turning back. What if she just agreed because he had asked her to. Would she regret this afterwards. They were both people who would never do anything that would hurt their families. Not until their parents gave their relationship a name. He could not. He didnt want to lose this moment either. What was he to do. He closed his eyes. While their lips remained parted, he closed the negligible distance between them. He turned his head and gently placed the right side of his lips against the left side of her tender lips. Very slowly he rubbed his against hers. Not kissing her lips, or caressing them loving. Just allowed them to feel their tenderness with a gentle rub. From one side to another. Their breathes crashing against each others. And then slowly rubbing his lips against her to the same side again. He gulped. He needed all of the control inside of him right now. Having felt the softness of her lips, it would be impossible not to finish what they started. He stopped there. She understood what he felt. He understood his hessitation. He respected him more. Even after being this close, having touched her lips with his, he did not continue. She needed to show how much she appreciated everything. How much she appreciated him. She slid her left hand from the back of his neck, up, and then gently placing her fingers on his right cheek. She moved her head a bit to the right and delicately placed her lips on to his left cheek. He closed his mouth. Her lips remained there for a few moments. She softly lifted her head up and whispered...
khushi: thank you... he smiled. He moved his head a bit bit. He took his left hands thumb gently rubbed it against her lips. Stroking them with love. His eyes fixed on them.
She looked down. Her hands now on his chest. He slid his right hand a bit down.
Arnav: this can wait. Right.. he said in a husky voice.
She smiled and nodded her head very gently.
He moved his thumb back onto her cheek.
Arnav: I think I should go... bohot dair hogai hai. She nodded her head again. He took two steps back and she moved her hands down. He started to walk towards the door.
Khushi: ek minute. He stopped. She went to the table and got his phone and the last rose. He smiled. She looked down shyly and walked up to him. He took them from her.
Khushi: voh . Umm. Arnav. I .. mujhe kuch.. voh. She gulped. Looked down. She was hessitating to say something.
Arnav put his finger on the bottom of her chin and brought her face up. She looked at him. Her big big eyes were captivating. He saw innocence in them.
Arnav: kaho khushi.. she smiled. Bit her bottom lip. She brought her hand up and gently closed his eyes. He moved his hand down. She scrunched her nose. Taking a deep deep breath. Gathering all of the courage she had inside of her. She would definetly need it for what she was about to do. She leaned forward. And went up to his ear. Very softly, slowly and gently she whispered three magical words.
Khushi: I... love...you... his face now had a huge smile. Time stood still. Did she just say that to him. Or was he dreaming. Was this entire night just a dream. She gulped, moved her hand and turned around. She was breathing very fast. Her chest heaving. Her lips sucked in. gulping. Not believing her self that she said that. Khushi, who was given a gift of grass and carpet from the same arnav a few months, just said the three most magical words to him. She held her racing heart with her left hand. And the side of her dress with her right hand. Arnav opened his eyes. His smile was not about to dissappear any time soon. She was full of surprises. She made this night the most memorable night of their lives. He leaned ahead. Above her shoulder. He turned his head in. smelling the aroma of her hair. He snuggled his nose into the back of her ear. She smiled. And tilted her head a bit. Towards his direction. He was tickling her. But it was a pleasant feeling.
Arnav: I love you too.
