Khushi: Arnav.. But what about your kiss on your gift? I didnt deny that..

Arnav started pulling the quilt on himself now..

Arnav: I know you didnt.. But I am not that hasty enough.. I can wait for that too.

He said that and slept turning his back to her. She hugged him from behind and slept too. She made sure to touch all her parts on him while sleep Hoping he changes his mind of kissing her on his given gift..

Next Morning:

Arnav got up and went straight for shower. As usual Khushi was already down. When he came down he saw her nad his dad on the Sofa having morning tea and laughing on some talk.. He somewhat liked what he saw.. Khushi was really different.. She cared so much for him and his dad.. She definately was a true daughter in law..

Arnav's Dad: And then what.. your dad finally proposed that girl on his marriage night...

Khushi: You mean Mom was that girl.

Arnav's Dad: Yes.. Shashi was very silent in his college days...

Arnav came and sat beside her.. She smiled at him and then started making his coffee.. Arnav's dad was reading the newspaper.. And Arnav too took one and started reading..

Khushi: Arnav... Dad and me were planning to go for a movie tonight.. Would you join us?

Arnav: What the..!! Dad and you?

Khushi: Yes... I know you hate watching movies in theatres. So I asked Dad and he said he is ready to come..

Arnav's Dad: But Khushi.. Dont forget I said.. I will come if Arnav does not want to join you..

Arnav: Well so that means if I join her.. you wont right?

Arnav's Dad (Smiled): Offcourse I wont.. I dont want to disturb your privacy..

Arnav's Dad started reading the newspaper again and Arnav looked at Khushi..

Arnav: I am coming with you..

Khushi then gestured him through her eyes that she would also want his dad to join. He noded.. She smiled..

Arnav: So I will ask Aman to book 3 tickets..

Arnav's Dad: 3 tickets? I am not coming I said..

Khushi: Dad please.. Dont spoil the fun.. Its a nice movie.. you will enjoy it..

Arnav Dad: No Khushi... You both go. I will be at home..

Arnav: Thats Ok Dad.. She is insisting so much.. So join us..

Khushi smiled at him. She knew he didnt wanted his dad to join. If he said Yes was only for her wish..

Arnav was working from home tonight.. He was down at the Living room with his laptop. Khushi was in the kitchen making Lunch and Arnav's Dad was in the Kitchen assisting her.

Khushi: Dad.. You are a fabulous cook.. I must say.. What a Daal.. I loved it..

Arnav Dad: Well I learnt it all from Arnav's mother..

Khushi: Really? So Maa was the best cook then..

Arnav Dad: Yes She was... She cooked everything I like..

Khushi felt bad seeing him lost in his thoughts..

Arnav Dad: She and Arnav both liked this Daal very much which I used to make it then.. I dont know if Arnav will still like it..

Khushi: Why wont he Dad.. Afterall its made with so much Love and Affection from your end.. He has to like it..

They smiled at each other and continued cooking.. Food was ready and they three seated on the table to have the Lunch. Khushi served both and then sat beside Arnav.

Arnav first tasted the Daal and then looked at his dad. Khushi looked at Arnav.

Khushi: Arnav.. What happened?

Arnav: Who made the Daal?

Khushi: Dad..

Arnav didnt say anything else.. He quietly had the daal and the rest of the food.. The Lunch was over.. Khushi was removing the plates when she asked Arnav. Arnav's Dad was in his room.

Khushi: Arnav.. How was the food.

Arnav: Nice.

Khushi: And the Daal?

Arnav looked at her in a little angry mode..

Arnav: Why? Why are you asking so specifically?

Khushi: Why are you getting angry.. ? I just asked.. Because I didnt make it right.. So wanted to know whether it tasted good or no.. I didnt like it that much..

Arnav: Ohh reallly? You didnt like it? You had two extra bowls of that daal and you say you didnt like it?

Khushi : Well I ate two bowls to know what is in that Daal that you loved it so much that you almost licked your own fingers many times.

She said that and started laughing.

Arnav too smiled.. She was teasing him. He started running after her and she started running upstairs. She had no idea when she entered his dad's room and he too entered after her..

She tried hiding behind his dad.

Khushi: Dad.. Please save me.. He is coming..

Arnav: Dad.. Just move aside.. I wont leave this girl today.

Khushi kept on hiding behind his dad as she knew he wouldnt cross his dad to get her..

Arnav's Dad: Ok Ok.. Khushi.. Arnav.. Why do you always fight like this?

Arnav: Dad .. Move..

Khushi: No Dad.. please.. dont move..

Arnav's Dad: Well.. I..

Arnav's Dad just held Khushi's hand and then pulled her ahead and then gave her hand in Arnav's..

Arnav's Dad: Arnav.. She is all yours..

Arnav: Thanks Dad..

He held her arms.. She still resisted and it was no point in him dragging her from his Dads room so he picked her and took her out.. All the way Khushi kept screeming..

Khushi: Dad.. This is just not fair.. You ditched me.. daaadd

And Arnav and his dad kept on laughing at her helplessness..
