Chapter 1:
I am over her! He repeated for the thousandth time in his mind. He sighed, who was he kidding? He had tried, very hard to forget her, to get her out of his mind, out of his life since the past two months but he was failing miserably.
Why am I even bothered when she doesn't even consider me as her friend? Why do I still care? It's been two months for heaven's sake! Why do I keep comparing the other girls with her, why do I still feel for her? Why do I think, I will forgive her if she ever comes back? Why do i still feel the same passion, for that girl who just played with my heart?
So many unanswered questions were running through his mind. How he wish, he knew the answers. He did know the answers for all the questions, but he was too weak , weak to accept the fact. He refused to believe that a girl had used him and chucked him out of her life and just vanished.
He punched the poor punching bag, who had been undergoing the same procedure every single day since 13th of February. Valentine's eve. The cursed day, when everything came crashing down in his world.
He was sweating, every pore in his body was aching, he had been working out for the past three hours, trying to push his capacity, even though he clearly knew that it could harm him. He worked out every day after college, till his body would go numb.
Gym was the only place where he could find peace, he ran on the treadmill at an unbeatable speed. His only aim was to cause himself so much physical pain that it would overshadow his mental stress.
"stop right there rey" called out a familiar voice.
" what are you doing here, in my house?" he said coldly, immediately regretting it.
"sorry, I didn't mean it like that.." reyansh apologised, leaning on the punching bag for support.
" rey, kab tak, kab tak tu apne aap ko hurt karta rahega?" the voice spoke again, dripping with concern and hurt for his friend.
" jab tak, mein usse bhul nai jaata swayam." reyansh said, looking away.
" I can't believe you rey! How can you let her affect you so much? Just one girl, cannot do this to you! You are reyansh singhania after all, the heartthrob of St.Louis college! What has happened To you?" he exclaimed , bewildered.
" I thought you would know swayam, I love her, how many times do I have to repeat it?" reyansh asked , now annoyed.
" chalo ye sab baatein chodo, rey I have some good news!" he said excitedly
" what happened? Did finally Sharon propose you?" reyansh laughed
" no! I proposed her! And she said yes!" swayam concluded with a triumphant smile.
"wow! That's awesome news bro! Toh kab hai shaadi?" reyansh asked, sipping orange juice.
" next week!" swayam exclaimed , with extreme ecstasy.
Reyansh spat out the juice, and came crashing down from the stool, on which he was leaning.
"WHAT! Next week?!" he asked.
" you okay na rey? Yes, Sharon wanted to get engaged next week only, the wedding day hasn't been decided though."
" congrats man! I am so happy for you!" he said while doing the guy-fist bumping-hug thing.
" but rey, are you fine? I mean, how are you doing, you seemed to be so low in rehearsal today? What happened? Was something wrong? Then you left the rehearsal hall so hurriedly and came home?" he asked out of curiosity and concern.
" loose my breath.." he whispered, barely audible. He looked up into swayam's eyes, with several emotions crossing his face.
"I didn't get you?" swayam asked, totally confused.
"loose my breath by destiny child, the first time she had performed in college, it was on this song." he had a distant look in his eyes, and a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he remembered the incidents of that day.
*flashback*
Reyansh's POV:
Oh crap! Why? Why god why, did she have to go and challenge Sharon! Who Will handle sharon now? Oh god! Why did she have to dance in front of everyone, and even if she did dance, why did she oppose my team!
I know she isn't wrong, but I can't go against my team, against Sharon. This girl has power, and attitude , she is beautiful, outstanding dancer, simple, sweet, innocent, bold, beautiful eyes, but she is such a baatcut-
"earth calling rey, earth calling rey! REY!" his stupid friend vicky snapped his fingers in front of reyansh's eyes.
"what happened vicky? " reyansh asked in a daze
" what happened!? Wahan pe Sharon, uss ladki ka khoon karne waali hai and yahan tu uss hi ladki ke khayalo mein khoya hua hai?" vicky hissed in animated anger.
" chal jhoota! Mein kahan kria ke bare mein soch raha tha? Mein toh...haan! Main toh, naye dance routine ke bare mein soch raha tha! Haan, dance routine ke bare mein hi soch raha tha..." reyansh said.
" meine toh kria ka naam liya hi nai?! Ab Bol! Chor ki daari mein tinka!" said vicky, rubbing both his palms suggestively and wiggling his eyebrows.
" chor ki daari mein what?!" reyansh sputtered in confusion
" woh sab chod..you won't understand, unless you improve your Hindi." vicky said waving him off.
Both the guys were interrupted by the havoc, in the auditorium. Kria and Sharon were standing face to face. Giving dirty looks to each other, suddenly kria snapped her head in his direction. She looked at him , right in the eyes.
She walked towards him, elegantly like she was dancing, her chin held up high and back straight. She looked at him with disgust and snatched the iPod he was holding.
"yeh iPod mera hai" she said calmly
"mujhe ye raste mein mila tha, toh meine Utha liya, I didn't know that it was yours...sor-" just as he was about to complete his sentence, vicky pinched him hard, making him wince in pain.
" hello Mr. Jo bhi ho, I don't care, aaplog ko toh lagta ha ki, hum weaklings hai toh Kuch bhi karoge? But not now! I will make my own team, we will show you what we've got, and footloose mein toh hum hi select honge." she said with anger and attitude, blowing on her nails..
" woa ho ho! Tum itne chote se matter ko kahan se kahan leke jaa rahi ho! And tum meri team ko challenge dogi? Dazzlers ko?! No chance, dream on miss. Dehra-.. I mean, miss. Baatcutter!" he mocked her.
" oh please! Don't be so full of yourself, someday that big ego of yours would blast your tiny little brain! I will prove it, that I can make my own team! In fact I am holding auditions at my place today! Kal tak team ban jayegi." she smirked in satisfaction.
"we will see!" he hissed.
"fine then! We will see!" she hissed back.
*flashback over*

How was it? Am really eager to know! :) hope you like it! so first few chapters will be boring, but I promise , that the story will get more interesting as it proceeds! :)
